I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

Hey Bungie.net web geeks: Will we ever see a search feature so we can search against shared files? A kid was just asking (In another forum) if anyone knew if there was a certain type of KotH game, and that made me realize there isn't a way to search against the file shares. Just the ability to search inside a specific forum would work pretty good. It would be even cooler if the web application was able to get inside the actual map and variant documents and then there could be a search function where we could search for just KotH games, or just games with no shields, etc. I know that's pretty far fetched, but I'm just throwing stuff out there.

That would be pretty sweet to search for specific files. Sure, you can search keywords via the forum search, but you get LOTS of results, most probably not even IN the file share forum.

Maybe. Right now we're still stabilizing everything. We hope to have at least one "major" update to the site before the end of the year that isn't just bug fixes. We'll see how things go, though.

I would love to see the community files forums organized by number of 360 downloads. Where instead of a post, a 360 DL to a new console results in a "bump".

Is such a thing possible?
That's similar to what the Community Files page does, but those don't appear sorted strictly by one field. It would be neat to sort based on downloads, ratings, etc as part of the search feature.

Well considering I pay $0 for all the cool features at Bungie.net, I'm in no hurry... :) I keep envisioning an empty Bungie studio with everyone on vacation and the web crew slaving away over in the corner, keeping the site up and running... Lol.

That sounds good seeing as no one ever posts on what they thought of certain films because they're usually at work.
