I have. In fact I have beat it on all of the difficulties. Beat it on easy because I had nothing to do after beating the game about a hundred times

i think most of us have - and a few times at that.

i've never played it on easy. started on normal and worked my way though.

some people have even beat it on hard core. that's not supported in the game itself, but the rules are pretty simple: you start a new campaign on legendary, and if you die even once, you have to set yourself on fire.

i've beaten every level on every difficulty except truth and recociliation and two betrayals, both which i still have to beat on legendary. they're starting to chap my butt.

Try playing through on Legendary just like you did on the other difficulties. Don't skip any levels. (Hint: It's the ONLY way to fly.)
Then see how chapped your butt gets.

nearly. i was doing the last few missions i had to do on Legendary, then my dumb friend cut the power before it could register the "alien crossswords!" emblem on my mission screen. i hate him so much, he cut the power right on the movie at the mission end! thats why i voted for a few lvls to beat. i usually tend to play the game to mess around for fun. hey not everyone plays the same way on Halo!

I just finished a few weeks ago. The Library was the hardest for me. The easist level is of course The Pillar of Autumn, but surprisingly, I think The Maw is the second easiest on Legendary.

Hardest points for me on Legendary:
Pillar of Autumn: The Mess Hall & "Covenant! On the landing above us!"
Halo: The first installation we find (I've actually saved 2 Marines once).
T&R: Getting on the GravLift (Co-op we saved ALL the marines.) and getting off the ship without having Keyes killed by his OWN MEN.
SC: Getting out with the Cartographer.
AotCR: Saving Fire Team Zulu & getting BOTH of the Banshees @ the end (If I had a Super Weapon). I have actually salvaged Sgt. Johnson, with yellow health, when i got the Scorpion - and kept him through the whole level (until the Marines no longer follow you).
343 GS: Getting out without getting LOST, & basically surviving.
Library: Umm....wow...let's say...THE WHOLE FRELLING THING.
2B: Getting outside in the beginning, and getting to the Banshee. Rest is a piece o' cake.
Keyes: Getting back on the ship, and escaping.
The Maw: The Mess Hall and eluding the Sentinels while driving. They -blam!- ME EVERY TIME! IT SUCKS!!!

I'm done. Bell just rang, gotta go to Chemistry.

Hardest level on legendary: Truth and Reconciliation

The best way is to start on legendary. It then seems like any other difficulty. But it is to late now. Get a partner to stay back while you die, respawn and do it again. You will complete it no time.

Hardest level on legendary: Truth and Reconciliation

Hardest was the Two Betrayals while the two Ghost are destryed, the Covies Destroyed all Flood, and everyone is going against you! I think theres about 7 to 12 elites there.

Took me at least a week of playing everyday for a reasonable amount of time (3-6 hrs per day). PoA and The Maw are the easiest. AotCR and 2B are the hardest. I think the Flood are easier simply because they don't have shields and they don't jump behind cover like Elites do. Saving Sgt Johnson is no big accomplishment on AotCR, I jumped in the tank he and was still in blue health! (Not only that I also saved two marines near the turned over 'Hog so :P.)

AOTCR is the easiest, course ive done that level at least 400 times (bout 50 on legendary), and usually i shoot the marines seeing as the only good they are is chucking grenades at me

i just beat it with my friend the other day. took us 3 days, but really only 2 because we only played for half an hour during the second day. i couldn't really imagine doing it solo.. Co-op was hard enough.

the hardest part was definitely trying to get the two Ghost's in Two Betrayal's.. took us forever. there were so many elites, and hunters, and tanks, and turrets.. plus the invisible elites.. blah, took us at least 2 hours. eventually we decided to just go for the Ghost's and not worry about shooting them. that didn't really work, either.

another hard part was trying to get Keyes out of T&R.. we were messing around and killed the other troops, and didn't realize we had checkpointed.. and he kept throwing nades at us, so we had to high-tail it out of there without him killing us or himself. eventually we made it.. it was funny as hell seeing us plow straight through the level though, with Keyes tossing nades behind us and Elite's in front of us..

i think i'm going to try it on Legendary alone, if i ever get a new box. or get mine fixed.
