Did the driver survive? That tends to happen a lot for some unknown reason.
actually there is a sientificly proven reason. when your drunk, you are more relaxed, less tense. to when a drunk guy crashes, he is in a relaxed state, and just "goes with the flow"
i have a simple analaogy to demonstrate this. you have a grown mad and an infant suspended 10 feet above ground. then you cut the cords, so both fall to the ground. now the adult will tense up before hitting the ground, basicly making him a brick that will smack the ground. now the baby, sisne it dosent know its about to hit the ground, will remain relaxed, and will bounce abit when hitting the ground, dispursing the energy.
who is less hurt, the baby is.
same goes with the drunk driver, when the crash happens, he is more relaxed then tense, thus dispursing the forces he's reciving. its all abot physics and stuff.
* Waits for youtube video to prove it...
Actually you are all way off, the reason drunk drivers tend to survive, is that the drivers seat it always the safest seat in cars. This is how they are designed for various reasons, the driver has a higher survival rate in sober collisions as well, do some reasearch
