You can't. File share screenshots cannot be used as your trophy shot in your service record or be put in your service record gallery.

Screenshots taken will auto-upload to your recent screenshots (if you're connected to Xbox Live when you take the shot) - you'll see them in Recent Screenshots. You can then save it to your Service Record Gallery and use one of those as your trophy shot.

I can't seem to find the option to use a shot from my service gallery as my "glory shot" on my service record. Can someone tell me where that option is?

Edit: lol, nevermind. I can't believe I didn't see it.

I had (have) the same problem. For whatever reason, my screenshot was NOT uploading to my recent screenshots so I tried File Share. Now I cannot use that screenshot as my 'glory pic'. So I guess the remedy is to take another screenshot and hope it posts to recent screenshots properly.

Seems a little hit and miss don't you think?

yeah. I have also had the same problem and i am in the middle of finding a cure for it. I dont really understand the concept of not being to use any screen shot that you have at your disposal, but thats just me. Kind of annoying.

I've taken a couple of screenshots and its gone through the whole uploading to bungie thing and then... Nothing! It shouldn't take more than 24hrs, should it?

Yeah, only about half of my screenshots upload. Hopefully they'll be able fix it with an update soon.
