oh yes, lets remove everything thats not a br and call it balanced and yell NOOBSAUSE!! at any player who touches anything but a br, and call it a professional sport and call ourselves professional athletes. oh and also lets be complete -blam!-gy scumbags on xbl, that will be good too.
yea! MLG ROCKS!
and about matchmaking not being balanced, bungie staff are professionals who worked for years to make the game balanced.; you are a 12 year old in forge. matchmaking is waaay more balanced than any "MLG 1337zorz even map" that you dream up.
so go away
The reason most players are turned off by MLG gametypes is in short, they require more skill. MLG gametypes have shotguns, snipers, swords, carbines, rockets, and in some cases plasma pistols. What guns do you miss? I'm going to go out on a whim and say dual-wields. HALO 2 is great when anyone can kill anybody without the slightest need for skill.
What are you being right now? A non-scumbag? I'd rather play with MLG players then the average matchmaking moron anyday.
I am actually 18, matchmaking is a joke (hence why all of these forums are filled with threads complaining about it), and the reason that MLG has grown to a user-base of more then a million members in just a few short years. People are looking for something more from this game then levels, repetitive gametypes, and skill-less playlists. They want to compete in a balanced, skilled, and exciting league. That's what MLG is.
Even Bungie can't deny the influence MLG has had on the HALO community. Hence the creation of the Team Hardcore playlist, and the recognition of MLG in the credits.
Next time I'll fill my montage with sword kills, dual wields, and sticks across map. God forbid we show skill portraying an accurate br and sniper rifle.
P.S. I have no problem with people who enjoy matchmaking, it's just not my thing. I can critisize it just as easily as anyone here can critisize MLG.
Please just critique the montage. We can argue about who's right on this issue all day and get nowhere.
