Considering it's the Special Edition versions of the movies, I'll be spending my hard earned fifty bucks on Fable instead. Unless, that is, Lucas deigns to include the original theatrical versions on the discs. Naturally, if he does that, he'll have to go with Spielberg's suggestion to turn all the flashing lasers to Peeps (soft, marshmallowly crap).
So, yeah, I'm excited about it, too.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

I like all the fights with the droids. But Star Wars can't compare with Halo. The Chief shoots aliens. In the end I gotta go with the aliens.

It think the first three Star Wars movies (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi.) kicked ass, but the two newer movies (The Phantom Menace, Clone Wars) just suck balls. I'm sorry, but Lucas is a horrible director. The reason Empire is considered the best Start Wars movie is because Lucas didin't direct it.

Oh yeah, and Empire Strikes Back is better than Halo... In my opinion. But that's like comparing apples to oranges. Empire is a movie, Halo is a game. Star Wars games suck, and a Halo movie would probably blow. So you really can't compare the two...

Star Wars - please explain to me why it is so great, I never did understand that. Seriously, I'm not even trying to knock it but I am confused when people get excited over it. Personally, I think the new movies suck and the old ones are just average action flicks. The games... I bought KOTOR but it didn't work out as I only like Japanese RPGs (where I actually give a -blam!- about the characters), and I have Rouge Squadron but after Descent 3 and Freespace it feels like crap to play. Probably my biggest problem with Star Wars is that it feels more like fantasy than sci-fi, and I'm a sci-fi junkie. If there's a weapon that destroys planets with a single shot, I want a detailed description of how it works and where it came from. Does it disassociate the molecules? Does it detonate the natural fusion reactor at the planets core? And what's this about a princess? Sorry, but I'm not letting Star Wars off just because it's in "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." Unless the humans there are Forerunner...

If you want an example of what I consider the best of sci-fi, read "Shadow of the Hegemon" by Orson Scott Card and "Neuromancer" by William Gibson.

It's all in the droid fights man. The best part in Ep. 2 was when those clones came in and kicked droid a$$. Other than that, I pretty much agree with you, Terran Grunt.
