Double Entendre, tacky in the delightful sort of way. It is very similiar to the penultimate level and I give it a 4.6/5 do to some graphic scenes. Good use of diction, syntax, and imagery to "drive" his point to the reader.
The author "forcefully [took] hold of the position" and fought his way past the sticky situation he was in. His teamate coming back from a reprieve in order to "deliver a unique brand of justice" to the person(s) blocking them from their goal of salvation. The double meaning comes out in force while "Cortana is under [the author's] belt" doing whatever she can to keep them going and finally getting left behind in the sticky, slimey, and gooey environment she has helped create.
Using various sentence structures also helps the author to gain the proper position on his goal. The author is outwardly "trapped, exhausted, [and] defeated" after only a few minutes to himself, this shows the toll that the battle between the races, or sexes in this case, takes on a lone fighter destined to succeed. This battle, "and yes it was good," served to show how many people are also left behind on the front lines with nowhere to run, slowly being drained of life and having to endure pain, or pleasure, that is beyond comprehension.
The vividness and descriptiveness helps to show how the lone combatant thrives off the screams of his victim and finally succeeds in conquering "Cortana." The combatant grows stronger and more impassioned as the "garbled moans and cries reach his ears" causing him to go berserk, creating even more, like a runaway train, losing control until the author explodes with emotion. The author, "tearing up whatever got in [his]s way," is finally able to break the bonds that tie him to "Cortana" and restrain himself through the aid of his friend, leaving that place and never looking back.
The author tries to show how teamwork is an effective way to deal with a situation and that merely working by oneself will lead to madness and/or suicide. Only through teamwork could the combatants defeat "Cortana" as that she is too much for one man to handle.

You know somewhere deep down that you will go back. You may go by yourself or you may take a buddy or two, but it is going to happen.

I've gone deep inside Cortana with three other guys. It was definitely a harrowing experience, one that I won't soon forget. My only problem was that sometimes they accidentally shot at my face.

I remember once I was about to get a perfect shot, like picture perfect.
and my friend took it from me, my chance to get my shot in, and I was denied.

I then unsheathed my sword and went on a rampage, pushing anyone/anything out of the way, jsut so I can get to the heart and out again as quickly as possiable. with all those things crawling around, I was lucky to get out of there alive...

had nearly finished me off. With the gap I had made from my previous endeavor, we increased our pace as fast as we could go, and boy, did we ever finish that fight!

So, with Cortana under my belt and a smile on my face, me and my friend left Cortana behind and never looked back.
