Zombies on beach, a lil stronger and faster

Defense- walled inside base with limited ammo but good weapon, the only way the zombies can get in is the top hatch you can break open, no way out and no radar = intense

"What is life without freedom?"

Commander

Commander is a gametype in which both teams have a VIP that must reach destination points that spawn randomly throughout the map to score for their respective teams. However, losing or killing a VIP is worth 2 points instead of the usual 1 point for reaching a marker.

Theses ‘Commanders’ have a slight influence on those very near them and have an enhanced radar that can detect even those stealthy assassins that maybe lurking in the shadows.

The commander is what you’d expect, stronger in both durability and the punishment he dishes out, but like any good Commander he makes those around him tougher. Those loyal soldiers that stick near are granted the same strengths as he, only minus the enhanced radar and overshields. The VIPs only real weakness would be their inability to drive vehicles around the map, making them dependable on their teammates for quick pickups and movements.

Once a destination point is reached it does not move for 60 seconds, regardless of how quickly your VIP reaches it; just long enough for your opponents Commander to make his way there to score as well.

The gametype should work with most maps, regardless of size and should play well with multiple teams playing; if you’re tired of just two teams.

Would love to get player feedback in comments and or videos of the match, so that I could correct anything that feels unbalanced or even make the gametype better.

Enjoy.

Map and game variant: http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=gun man10

Map: H3PEarthvsCovey
This map is made on High Ground. A few major differences is that now the "bunker" is blocked along with the not so secret tunnel. The team inside the base gets all human weapons two mongeese and one wharthog. four turrets are located inside the base three fire away from the base and one is placed as a last resort inside the base. Three people spawn on the highest part of the base with two turrets and plenty of weapons. The rest spawn near the vehicles with a small selection of weapons. Inside the now blocked off bunker are plenty of grenades a battle rifle and a rocket. The defenders must guard the missile launcher at the begining of the base the high point of the base, and where the last resort turret is located.

On the other side the attackers spawn on the beach with a multitude of weapons and grenades. They also have a prowler wraith and a ghost and some "equipment". They get plenty of covenant weapons including the fuel rod gun and plenty of sniper rifles. They get 3 turrets placed near the middle in strategic positions. Sometimes if your lucky the Wraith can blow through the blocked bunker allowing the attackers to get easy acces to the base. but sometimes when i tried it would just shove the blockage farther in. BTW a custom powerup is located on the beach and on the high point of the base.

Variant: H3PEarthvsCovey

The variant is a version of one-sided assault. The main difference is that everyone starts with a pistol and the bomb carrier is imune to headshots.

El Loco Strikes Again!

Fisticuffs! A simple melee game which is fun for all.

Everyone spawns with plasma pistols, but it's not worth firing them, as nobody has any shields. One punch is a kill, unless you're very very unlucky.

A very good gametype for newbies learning the precision timing of the melee, as well as seasoned veterans wanting a relaxing simplistic gametype.

Best in small closed in maps, i.e Guardian (I personally made a version of Guardian where everything is removed and there is a custom powerup in the middle)

Large groups recommended, although it works with smaller groups too. Often it will end up with a conga-line of oblivious players chasing eachother around the map, until the person in front stops.

The powerup gives a little (slightly pointless) speed boost and gravity jump.

I know it's probably been done before, but... not with such a cool name!

Normandy (Last Resort)
The Beach Storm game variant for Normandy

Gamemode "BeachStorm":
Best with 10-16 Players
One Flag CTF,8 minute round time, 1 capture for a round win

Attackers try to bring the flag from the beach to the walls of the beach ruins. Defenders try to stop them.
Flag carriers run at 75% speed but have more shield, more health and double shield recharge rate.

Defenders have two turrets in strategic positions, but with carefully chosen blindspots. If ripped off,the turret won't respawn for 2 minutes, so try to make the ammo count.

Everyone starts with an SMG to discourage sniping, but long range weapons are scattered throughout the beach and on the walls.
Only human weapons in here and only AR,BR,Shotgun and Pistol.
Grenades are essential for taking out the turrets, so it's crucial to use cover to get closer and use them to blow the turrets up.

There are two ways to get up to the Return point, but one of them can be destroyed with grenades so you have to be quick.

Map "Normandy" (on Last Resort)
Only the beach of Last Resort is used for this map. Defenders CAN go into the rest of the map, but that will only thin their numbers and aid the Attackers.
There is nothing hidden in the back, so just leave it alone.
The stairs on the side of the wall from the beach have been blocked. The barriers there CAN be destroyed with enough grenades, but you will only have a small time window to get through before the barricade is rebuilt.

The beach itself is filled with strategically placed cover that the Attackers may use to hide from the turrets and throw grenades to take them out.
The Defenders can destroy some specific cover places easily by aiming at the propane tanks near them, but it will take a good shot to actually hit them.

There is also a pile of crates near the walls, these can be used to quickly get to the Capture Point, but note that you can blow it up with just 2 grenades and it will take some time to be reconstructed. Try to be fast and use it before the defenders hinder your approach and lock you up in a one-way entrance situation.

Description: Take to the skies in this Halo 3 variant of Team Slayer. Each base is equipped with one Hornet, two Banshees and one Warthog. All players spawn with the Plasma Pistol (Steady aim? A charged plasma pistol will disable any vechicle it hits!), no grenades, 4X Shields and no radar. Shields do not regenerate so attack wisely!

Teleporters: One per base on the bottom level of each base. Each leads to the middle of the map within distance of the Spartan Laser and the Special Power-up.

Special Power-up: At the center of the map lies a blessing and a curse. The blessing? The special power-up makes whoever grabs it invunrable to all damage, gives the player 300% the normal speed and 50% gravity for insane jumps (air boarding anyone?!) and makes any damage you cause a one-hit kill. Power-up only lasts for 15 seconds, but allows the perfect amount of time to destroy any enemy aircraft that dares cross you. The curse? When the 15 seconds are over, your shields drop to zero!

"To Mend and Defend"

Pimps at Sea (Game Type)
High Dunes (Map)

This Map and Game type is simple, CTF, except it focuses more on the elephants, the idea is that both teams spawn and get equipment, weapons vehicles ex cetera from there "Ships". The team's goal is to defend themselves and repel boarders while at the same time sending boarding parties to the other ship in "Skiffs", vehicles in which go off board to go to the other team's ship(mongooses, Warthogs.)

Weapons, Equipment, Grenades all spawn aboard the ship and NONE spawn on the map, the map is completely devoid of war material. The Elephants have a number of turrets in which act like deck guns to defend themselves plus 1 rocket launcher with long respawn but full clips to defend against skiffs. other weapons include close quarters weapons as assault rifles and shotguns and a single sword for each teams ship captain, and all types of grenades.. Equipment includes Power Drainer for disabling skiffs or as a preemptive measure before boarding, a Regenerator to counter the previous strategy. a Bubble Shield, to protect the flag defenders or the ship's helmsman. a flare for blinding skiff drivers or for blinding defenders trying to repel your boarding.

The flags are high atop the ship waving majestically or mockingly. The Elephants themselves are defend able from the front and sides with a turret on each of these angles, except the rear, this is weak point, especially if the warthog has been launched. a strategy that my friends have used is leaving the warthog in the back allows having a rear turret, but at the price of being short a skiff when going on the offensive so its a good defensive strategy. however when going on the offense, your going to want to take the hog, but know doing so opens up a hole in the defense.

After extensive testing, the game type and map is pretty balanced and gets frantic when the elephants (ships) are brought close together in a pirate style board-athon.

Known Issues: Warthog in the rear has a tendency to slide left or right, but for the most part stays in place with its wheels "stuck" in a break in the geometry on the ramp which keeps it from sliding off the elephant. (wish i could move those vehicle pallets onto the elephant. hint hint bungie )

Though I am sure I have gotten all of them, there is a small tendency for a single player to spawn out on the map somewhere in as if there was a spawn point out there. I have yet to solve this issue and might not be solvable since the game has a habit of putting in spawn points randomly.

Other then that the map is good. So have fun out there on the High Dunes.

Subject: PP Race

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

Oh, look: Another Mongoose race! This might have even been specifically done already, but I made it a while ago, so I'll throw it out there.

PP Race
Map | Variant
Inspired by Rocket Race, I endeavored to create something similar but different. This VIP race takes place on Isolation and has the Mongooses racing in a "figure 8" circuit around the outside and subterranean areas of the map. The racers can successfully go either direction around the course, so some crazy collisions can occur.

The variant that I made to go with it is very similar to Rocket Race, except it uses Plasma Pistols (Hence the title). Actually, you could probably just eschew the variant and use Rocket Race (Switching to whatever starting weapon you prefer).

Enjoy!

Valhalla Raceway - A lap racing map

- Why is it unique compared to other racing maps? -
Rather than create complex track structures, we went with a simple, around the outer edge of valhalla map design with a few choke points and minor traps along the way. I chose to focus more on the racing gameplay than making a complex and hard to follow track structure. Equipment is available and recommended to be used, and grenades are made plentiful.

Racers are free to get out of their vehicles and throw down equipment and lob grenades, or do it from the passenger seat a la Mario Kart. Teleporters are made available to get you back to the start if your vehicle is destroyed. Additionally, while many race maps provide only Mongoose vehicles, my map lets players choose between the speedy but harder to control Mongoose, the balanced Warthog, or the slow but powerful Chopper with short boosts.

Finally, it is unique and fun in the gametype variant created. As most race gametypes are, it's a VIP Variant, but this one I created is different than any others I've seen. The VIP and those in the same vehicle as the VIP are outfited with 4x overshields, enough to survive pretty much anything but an assassination or maybe a 'nade stick. Those that are not in the same vehicle as their VIP however, have no shields, therefore easily killed. As per the rules set for my racing map, if players have a third person on their team, that third person is free to go out on their own and roam to track, set up equipment, hijack vehicles, throw grenades, etc. But since they aren't trying to race and are just causing mayhem to the other teams, he is made to be easily killed so that he wouldn't be overpowered.

Valhalla Raceway Map
VIP Racing Gametype

Visit the links above for much more detailed descriptions of the maps. For screenshots of the map, visit my service record and go to my screenshots. Links are on the forum posts above.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Please download this and post on the respective forum threads with any comments, suggestions, questions, or criticisms as well as rating them. I have tested this with some friends, and it was funner than any of the other race types I've downloaded. I'm curious to know what others think.

And finally, while I placed the majority of the objects and designed the track, credit goes to Zengaku for coming up for the ideas of having Equipment and Grenades and Teleporters available.

Have fun!

Rocket Resort:

This is a map mod for Last Resort for Rocket Race. It is specifically designed for teams of two and can currently handle up to five teams (There are only five mongooses currently and teams spawn by "their" mongoose, so not following team size suggestion can really screw you over). The only thing you have to do is set it to rocket race but edit options, edit VIP options, change points from random to sequential. This is designed to be a true "race" and not a rocket scramble, as the random points are. Please test it and leave constructive feedback, I'm always tinkering with mod tools and constantly repost my variants in "improved" form. Thanks guys.

i have two in my file share.
Omaha Beach assault map and The Desert Of Hell.

Omaha Beach takes place on last resort and is used mainly for my own gametype Omaha Assault.
Allies start in landingboat-like containers while axis start on the walls.
there are no shields and no radar, and me and my friends Iron Ogre and XdealingStorm have found a way to simulate artillery fire. the only glitch so far is keeping the allies green, and the axis black. as soon as you enter a territory your color changes in a rather annoying way.

The Desert of Hell takes place on any map you wish, but preferrably on Sandtrap.
humans start out with respawning grenades, and infinite ammo. zombies die in 2 shots. and the last man is more powerful than the Terminator.
and yes, it does suck when you're the zombies :P

game: whack-a-mole

map: mole tunnel

rules: this is a variation of juggernaut. the juggernaut stays on top of the structure in the middle of sandtrap with a gravity hammer, 200% speed, infinate ammo, and no motion sensor. everyone else has a motion sensor and regenerating grenades, but move at 100% speed and cannot pickup weapons. only the juggernaut can get points. you can become the juggernaut by killing him. you can only stick him with grenades. do not shoot him. also the juggernaut can't use grenades.every one who is not a juggernaut has to stay in the structure but can use grave lifts to jump up to stick the juggernaut. if the juggernaut knocks someone out of their hole keep playing, but if the juggernaut falls down, let him get back up top before play resumes.if the juggernaut knocks you up top, do not stay up there. you must try to get back inside without dying.first to 15 wins.

Hell
This is a map I made using a glitch with spawn points on last resort. I didn't attach a game variant because... either way you die so quickly on this map xD. All the spawn points have been placed into a small confined area that you cannot get out of (even in forge mode with the moving camera thing.)
Fusion coils are placed at the bottom along with other flammable and "explody" things.

This map is just meant for fun. I would suggest using this map for 16 players. Once you see the design of the map you will notice you can't actually have a "real" fight here. Very fun for friends tho ^.^

Siege VIP
Must be played with Siege VIP custom ruleset.Linked here

Attacking team starts with VIP and must run the VIP over the wall to the back of the level into the closet like area.
Slow respawns and team respawns allow this game to be centered around teamwork.

VIP has poor camo to help prevent snipers, along with 2 second spawn protection
map weapons have been replaced with only 2 snipers assault rifles, magnums, and grenades, in the spawn zones of each team.

Power ups have been added to aid each team in defense of the wall, or to scale it/charge up the beach.

Overall great fun with 4+ people, would recomment 8+ people, because of slow spawn

Hi peoples! Im a noob to the forums, and uhh, I don't know how to link maps or gametypes to these things, so if someone could pm me or something and tell me that would be great. But until then, I have a great gametype for high ground. i call it "opening the gate". there's two teams. by the beach, theres two ghosts, a mongoose and a rocket launcher with 6 extra rockets next to it. on the up side, theres the default turret, and up in crows nest, i put a turret that kinda makes you go into the wall when you use it, but it works. theres a sniper rifle by the first turret, and in the bunker, i added two BRs and a rocket launcher. the games ends when the beach spwaning team opens the gate. i found that this is fun with teams of 6-8, but almost every time i ahve problems with the upside team ruining the game and opening the gate. if you end up making this a game i reccomend making so the up team cant open it. and one more thing. BRING SWAT BACK FROM HALO 2 PLEASE!!!!
