Real life? What is that?
Graphics are good, gameplay sucks. Overhyped IMO.

I don't want to help you. I'm sorry. =(

Cloud City is a fun pre-mythic map based on foundry. Designed for fairly fast paced 1vs1 games.

Salvation v.3

The map as it stands is like this:

Weapon List:
2 Brute Shots (60 sec)
4 SMGs (30 sec)
4 Assault Rifles (30 sec)
10 Battle Rifles (30 sec)
4 Covenant Carbines (30 sec)
4 Machine Gun Turrets (150 sec)
2 Missile Pods (150 sec)
2 Rocket Launchers (90 sec)
2 Maulers (90 sec)
1 Spartan Laser (180 sec)

Equipment:
2 Regenerators (120 sec)
8 Plasma Grenades (10 sec)
2 Power Drains (120 sec)
2 Active Camos (180 sec)

Vehicles:
2 Banshees (180 sec)
4 Mongeese (90 sec)
2 Warthogs (120 sec)

Map Description:
Salvation is a symmetrical map designed for 4v4, 5v5, or 6v6 Team game variants. It plays best on any variant of Team Slayer, King of the Hill, Assault, Capture the Flag, and Territories. Recommended game types would be:
1. Team Slayer, Team BRs
2. Multi Flag CTF
3. Assault, Neutral Assault
4. Territories, Land Grab

Salvation is a very open map. The two bases at either end and the central Tunnel/Hill serve as the main features of the map. Each of the bases were built to be open and unprotected, save for two turrets. There is a "safe haven" for players on the lowere level of the bases, a safeplace for players to spawn in case carnage gets to great outside. The central area is designed to give the map some geometry and elevation, and so players can walk around with out getting snipe by Battle Rifles across the map.

Update 4/8/09:
+ 2 Carbines
+ 2 Mongeese (total=4)
+ Added "Obelisks" to Center Hill
+ Several changes to Center Hill
+ Fixed game variant spawns
+ Messed around with spawn points

Update 4/12/09:
+ Took out 2 Turrets, moved the remaining turrets to center of 2nd Floor
+ Added "Obelisks" to sides of Bases
+ 2 more Carbines (total=4)
+ 4 Assault Rifles in lower portions of bases (2 each)
+ Removed Fusion Coils form the Center

My Forge Reach Remakes:
Chiron TL35 (Chiron TL34)

MAP: Chiron Ruins

This is another to add to my list of remakes. (That being Sandlock, which was a remake of Warlock and is to scale)

This is a ALMOST exact copy of Chiron TL34 from Halo: Combat Evolved. Though the problem was when I started this map, that one had 26 teleporters, with 13 links but I could only have 18 teleporters with 9 links due to the forge limit.

So I basically physically joined up almost all the sections and used shield walls to act as sort of barriers to fire arms. So it's kinda lost some of it's confusion elements but that was only because of the limitations of forge and the number of teleporters and links I could have.

Though the rest I did almost to what the old map looked like; the maze like room with many barriers to jump over, the bridge, the platform that you can only get up to by another teleporter, and I made it so each and ever entrance/teleporter to another room, connected to the exact same one it did in the Halo 1 version so if you still remember the teleporter layout of that map, you'll ba able to pit it up easily. Though I did miss you some minor things, but that was due to running out of forge points to place anything else.

Hope you enjoy it. It's best suited for Infection, Slayer, Oddball, Juggernaut and King of the Hill, Though ALL game types are playable on this map. Though if you want to do team objectives, I suggest doing one bomb or one flag for Assault and CTF.

Hope you enjoy this map and my other Remake.

If you can dodge a ball... you can dodge a bullet!

http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3f ileid=73704228

It's a map made for CTF and Slayer (mainly cause I had so much stuff I couldn't add anything for other gametypes...) I call it "Hakkan Monument" just cause that's what a friend of mine wanted.

It's on sandbox and has 2 stone buildings right next to each other. both bases are the same layout, except certin things are reversed. Both bases have a top ledge to snipe from that you can get to via 4 portals. In the center of each base, is a tower piece (the top of the tower is where the flag will be for CTF games) you can walk up with the help of ramps, and under it are 2 tunnles on both sides. The front wall of each base has a turret at the top, and two doors at the front, with one of them having a tube corner attached. On one side of each base is a ramp, where sneaky people can flank, and get inside the base. In the middle between the bases is a long but small area for close encounter fights. In the middle is also 3 pieces of equipment.

Weapons on the map are: shotgun, sniper rifle, spartan laser, needler, battle rifle, carbine, brute shot, spiker, mauler, fuel rod gun, flamethrower, plasma grenade, frag grenade, spike grenade, flame grenade.

Equipment: flare, bubble shield, grav lift.

Number of players: 4-12

I'll get some pictures of the map later today when I get home.

About Your Map
1. Write a brief, one paragraph "elevator pitch" for the map. Include primary features of the map, weapon load-out, whatever you think will "sell" the map.

There are two, well lit, symmetrical bases. There are good places for call-outs. It is set up for CTF, Oddball, and TS. There is one power weapon on the map that has a long respawn time. The map is good for 4v4s and 3v3s. There is a minimal of bumps on the walkways.

Weapons:
*6-8 BRs
*2 Plasma Pistols
*4-6 Carbines
*1 Rocket Launcher
* 2 Maulers

Equipment

*14-16 Frag Grenades
*10-12 Plasma Grenades

Each base has the same amount of weapons. There are no vehicals.

2. Is your map symmetrical or asymmetrical?
Symmetrical

3. How many players best suit your map? Can it support players below or above your ideal player count?
Its can be played with 2-10 players. More players can cause bad spawning. Less is better since its an open map. The best is 6-8

4. Does your map have vehicles? What purpose do the vehicles serve? Can it sustain vehicles?
It does not have vehicles. I was going to put two mongooses in it but I didn't. It could sustain them though.

5. Does your map have teleporters? What purpose do the teleporters serve?
No.

6. What standard gametypes (Slayer, CTF, Oddball, King, Assault, VIP, Juggernaut, Territories, Infection) are supported by your map? Which work best? Which gametypes are not supported, or do not work best?
MLG TS and MLG CTF are supported the best. MLG Oddball can be played on the map but it doesn't work the best. Any other gametype is not suitable for this map.

7. What non-standard gametypes (Swords, SWAT, Rocket Race, gametypes you have made specifically for your map) might you recommend for your map variant? Provide links if possible/applicable.
SWAT would work the best. Team Snipers would be fun but you could get spawn killed fast. Maybe swords too. It can be played with a lot of team games. Rocket Race would not work.

I just tried out this new map that one of my friends made, and I can honestly say that it is very well done. I had to post it up so that the whole community could try it out and enjoy it. I highly recommend this map to any and all Halo players.

The map itself is called Planetary Ruins. It is simple in design, but there in lies the beauty. The simplicity of the map is what makes it so enjoyable. The symmetry is even for both red and blue side of the map. The weapons style is not over powered, true to MLG format. The main weapons on the map are actually battle rifles and assault rifles. A sniper, two maulers and a shotgun are the only real "power" weapons on the map. That in and of itself adds to the strategy of the map. You have to be on your toes and use all the skill you have to come out on top.

Apart from this, the map is nice to look at. Above you sits a Solar system that overlooks the map and and gives a very translucent glow about the place and just makes it that much more epic to play on. Overall it is a blast to play on and I think all of you should try it out and enjoy it.

Here is the link. Check it out and be sure to recommend it to your friends and get some great games going.

If i died tomorrow, what would people remember me for?

Control

This map was created in the sky bubble on Sandbox.

Pictures will be up in a few days as well as a video on youtube.

The name of the game (as the title suggests) is to gain and keep control of the middle ground. The ides for this map came from a suspended version of valhalla, and the fact you can't walk to the centre and have to man cannon to the centre.

It is currently only set up for team slayer, capture the flag and assault, although i plan to make territories available on it at some point.

The map is ideal for 4-8 players. (double team or ranked slayer/objective)

"Apollo Watches" is a map variant of Sandbox. By doing the math to find total area of the the Crypt, then finding the area of all the resources in forge I was able to create a sweet new grifball map that's the EXACT same size of the surface area of the Crypt.

"GBAW"
is a game variant of RvB's "Grifball" but specially made to fit with the map "Apollo Watches"
(Not any drastic changes)

Sandbox maze (creative name, I know) is a short maze/obstacle course I made on the sky bubble of Sandbox. I think it's quite fun, as I have been inviting friends into a custom game on the map and we could play it for hours. Anyway, I hope you like it :)

Sand Temple.

Recommended players: ALL numbers of players are now supported

Core Map: Sandbox (Mythic Map Pack Required)

Suggested Game Variant: ALL Game Variants are now supported (default or otherwise)

Background: Back in the earliest times of the Forerunners, they had created many temples in remote areas throughout the galaxy. Now, one of those said temples has been uncovered, after having been buried by Time. Some of the ancient technology still functions, which makes it incredibly valuable to the Covenant, the Humans, and the Elites. Fight, and take the temple for your race, and unlock the mysteries it holds!

Description: Sand Temple is a different form of Slayer map made for Team Doubles matches. Instead of having a separate team for each base, one simply has a separate corridor, and equipment room. Every single room is symmetrical to the corresponding room to each and every team, and even the layout of the objects in said room are the same. Vehicles await your use in a fashion that keeps the balance of the game fair - equal amounts of each vehicles waiting on the north or south side of the Temple.

Final Thoughts:I tried to make a nearly perfectly symmetrical map, while at the same time, tried to make the temple look both worn away, and structurally sound. I did my absolute best, and I do hope that the Bungie Community enjoys the new map variant for the beloved Mythic Map, Sandbox!

Of the Essence

  • 04.14.2009 7:28 PM PDT

373 Plasma Pistol kills and counting

OK, me and my friend Obayga have created what I think could be the funnest CTF game ever.

Meet Purgatory. This huge map spans throughout the Sky Bubble and the Crypt providing an experience like no other. Both teams start in the Sky Bubble with a clear view of the respective bases... separated by a very far drop... how do you get over there? Plenty of Carbines, Battle Rifles, and a couple other weapons make combat up here fierce, but plenty of cover keeps things interesting.

Eventually players will find no way to cross and the combat appears to be going nowhere. However, each base has a teleporter. Perhaps a more curious spartan will check it out, only to find a second base larger than the first. Two more structures separated by treacherous catacombs and cliffs await down below in the darkness. If you can survive the trip across, you can infiltrate the enemy base and get to their teleporter. This will get you back into the sky bubble, only on the enemy side this time! Then you can grab their flag and head down to the catacombs again for the return trip.

Check out these screenshots to see it all in action!

Aerial Combat
Blue Base top floor
Red Basement
Subterranean Snipe-off
Blue Basement and cliffs
Driving to Blue Flag
Bourbon always gets his flag...
Whoa Obayga... when did you sneak that by me

I urge you to check this out.

Also, be warned, the screenshots are of the beta version, we've tweaked it several times. Many parts will be slightly different.

You don't kick a man when they're down, so don't teabag me when I'm dead!

BRs & Beatdowns

Same as SWAT, except 10m enhanced radar and two headshots to kill. Everyone starts with a BR and an Energy Sword. It's set so that there are no grenades, but I put duals on the maps for some reason.

Works on any map and often results in lots of bulltrue medals

"The Fortress Maze"

http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3f ileid=74099949

**Pre warning: I don't know how to make the spawn points work correctly all the time, if someone could help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

This is a map on Sandbox, complete with many hallways creating endless uses, a decorative entrance to the maze, and a challenging upper level. The map has no weapons on it as of now, due to the fact that at the moment, it's just a maze. This map can hold around 10 people at the time, and is great for just passing some time.

If you'd like to tell me how awesome/terrible or annoying my map is, feel free to message me: Goatsis, or my friend that helped me construct the map: Merkily.
