One shot 47 kills.

Wreck Room

This map was mainly created for the Team Slayer/Slayer gametypes. It is an asymetrical map made on Foundry. It is well balanced, and a lot of fun. Try it out and see what you think!

Shackled

An infection map in the sandbox skybubble. There are three main structures to defend, pick your poison. The weapon depot, the shack, and the spawn. It is a lot of fun with large groups of people! Gametype is in the set, hope you all like it!

PS -- will be adding screenshots of each map soon!

This is my latest map. Its a little rough round the edges as there is no interlocking involved but its very well balanced and pretty fun. Its perfect for 4v4 but Doubles or FFA works really well aswell. Its ready to go on CTF & Team Slayer

I have a few game variants and maps to show off so bare with me plz ^.^

Game Variants:
1. Joust
Description: speed is maxed and you have a shotgun with unlimited ammo as well as unlimited grenades.
Preferred players: 4-16
Preferred maps: any map that is large and unable to fall off of I.E. Valhalla, sand trap etc...

2. Race VIP
Description: This is what Rocket race should have been... two man teams start with plasma pistols, move slow to force players to use ATVs. Also goes very well with race variant maps I made, but can be used with anyone's race map variants. I also believe I allowed grenades so players could throw their opponents for a spin.
preferred maps: specific maps made for racing I.E. the ones for download on my file share, but you can make your own and use this also this is just a template really.
Preferred players: 4-16

Map Variants:
1. Tactic race
Description: This is a modified version of Zanzi... I mean last resort ;) this can ONLY be played with the game variant race VIP, limited I know, but was not meant to be a ctf or anything. Also was my first attempt at a racing map variant.
Preferred players: 4-16
Preferred game variant: race VIP ONLY

2. Foundry race x2
Description: This is a race map using foundry, however like the name says its two tracks in one! there is a lower level track and a higher level track! If you fall to the lower level play catch up. Only works with Race VIP
preferred players: 4-8, any higher might not work due to small width of track.
preferred game variant: race VIP ONLY

3. Avalanche 2
Description: This is probably the most hardcore multiplayer map you will ever see! There are, I believe I had 8 bases! This is good for all game types, best though with CTF or multi team CTF/bomb. I have not had a chance to test this map with more then four people so I have no clue how good or bad on large numbered player matches, however I did design it for full on 8vs8. Hornet, Banshee, a load of turrets, mini bases and even special hidden areas on both sides of the map to give special weapons to both teams! Make this a trench warfare kind of map. There are so many changes to this map it really is not even the same map anymore, but I hope people still like it :)
Preferred players: 8-16
Preferred game types: Multi team CTF, CTF, Multi team bomb, normal bomb, nutrural bomb.

I am working on making mazes, and instead of multi round races multi lap races :) hope to post those soon too.

Y-Chrom Aerial Research Facility
see attached*

*May 4, 2522, Military Calendar
ONI Field Report S545909
Classification: TOP SECRET, CODE WORD
Subject: Research Facility; Code-named: Y-Chrom
Reporting Officer: Commander J.G. Ortega, Office of Naval Intelligence, Section Three, UNSMCID: 7631073

The new aerial research facility, code-named Y-Chrom, went fully operational as of 0600. Both local A.I.s have been linked to this facility and are studiously helping the staff.

This is a proud day for us here on Onyx. The Y-Chrom Facility comes after five years of research, development, and construction. Thankfully we have learned a lot from the development and construction of Y-Chroms sister facility, the underground research facility code-named X-Chrom. The advances in technology and lessons learned from the development of the X-Chrom Facility have allowed us to create a more streamlined and efficient aerial facility.

Y-Chrom is currently 30% staffed with another 45% set to arrive within the next few months and the rest to follow within the year. The seven scientist that the facility currently houses have already settled in and begun research on the Forerunner structure, code-named Green 9. The security and staff have nicknamed it the 9th Green due to its grassy center and the odd artifact found upon entrance, which resembles a golf club.

Coupled with X-Chrom we hope that we will soon to understand more about the structures and items we have found in Section 67. Especially these new structures we have discovered scattered amongst the sky. We have yet to determine why or how they went undetected by any of our radar systems. Hopefully more research into this will prove beneficial in our war.

/END/

Description:
This is a symmetrical map set up with two opposing bases and an island floating off to the side (accessible via teleport). I created a map a while back in Foundry called X-Chromosome. This map is based on that map but it is more of what I envisioned it to be. I pulled in a lot of design elements from other Halo maps that I've like in the past. There is a Sniper roost and a rocket roost on each side accessible via ramps at the sides of each base (Beaver Creek). There's a power weapon in the center of the map which is meant to crated a center rush at the very beginning of team games (Pit). There are lots of jumps to help quicken movement around the map (Lockout/Blackout). Weapons are scarce. I liked the fact that weapons were more of a commodity and not a given in Halo 2. There is a light bridge which you can only cross via vehicle (this is one of the designs I've kept from the older map). The map is set up for various game types, Slayer (FFA/Team), CTF (1-Flag/Multi), and Assault (1-Bomb/2-Bomb). I think it plays well with 4 - 8 players but 8 being the best. I'm open to any criticism (as long as it's constructive) so leave a comment. Things you like. Things you don't like. Things you think need to be changed. Thanks.

This is my new map demo derby demo_derby
and heres the mode that goes with it demo derby

This is a demolition derby map and mode as the name implies. You start out on 1 of 4 starting areas, and choose between the prowler, 2 mongooses, or warthog in your area. You have 45 seconds before explosions land in the area and kill all that are down underneath the explosions. This is to stop people from cheating by staying up in the area. It is basic bash and crash unti the other person or people fall off. It is a king of the hill and when every1 else is gone you get the point and win the round. There are 9 rounds in the mode. Here are some pictures.

Picture 1
Picture 2
Picture 3

criticism is accepted as long as it is constructive. I'v checked all other sandbox demolition derbys that i could find, and so far in my opinion my map and mode are better, but it could also be just me.

"We've got Charlie all over the place!" -- said by a friend of mine during a very chaotic slayer battle.

My map is called "The Divine Comedy," based off the work of the same name. It's a Sandbox variant that takes advantage of all three areas. The players begin in the Crypt or "Inferno" and must climb the spiral, dodging the attacks of other players and the falling fireballs, to reach Purgatory. With guns in hand, players must fight their way up the tower to the final leap of faith into Paradise. Once there, they must walk the long twisting path to God's throne, trying not to get sniped in the process. For use with my custom King of the Hill variant, "The Longest Walk." First one to reach the throne wins.

The map: TheDivineComedy
The Gametype: TheLongestWalk

There are multiple screenshots linked to those two files. It works best with 4 to 8 players, but could easily support more. Enjoy.

I made a map on sandbox it is called [http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx] Serenity [/http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx].I built the map for gametypes like team slayer, team snipers, and team swat. I worked long and hard on it and I was hoping it was good enough to get out there to be recognized. The map was once a forunner sanctuary but has since been lost to the desert sands. Now it is a place of grief and battle between the spartan's and elites. Who could had ever guessed that a forunner holy ground would make such a great battle field. 2-8 players The link to the map Serenity is right here.http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.asp x?h3fileid=76827667

Map Name: Battle Crypt
Base Map: Sandbox

Description: This map is essentially a remake of Battle Creek (aka Beaver Creek). The map is not intended to be an exact duplicate although the layout is similar as well as the weapon spawns. There are several levels to each base with multiple entrances and portals at opposite ends of the map. Any Halo fan should immediately recognize the similarities to the original.

This map is best enjoyed playing Team Slayer or CTF.

Check out the fileset for screenshots!

That's a map for team gametypes like Team Slayer, CTF, Assault, Oddball and King of Hill.
This is one of my favourites self created maps. I've play it with some friends and it's really funny.

Enjoy it.

What Would Walshy Do?

Unsanctioned v2

I decided id try my luck and forging a map in Sandbox after I downloaded the mythic map pack. I first tried on the regular floor of sandbox but after spending a few hours the bases didnt line up. I then decided to try again using the Crypt and am happy with how it turned out so far. The bases were made with Sanctuary in mind while the map has taken some things from Onslaught and Wizzard/Warlock (not much on the last one). Im still adding and tweaking things to try and make this as best as possible.

Download Unsanctioned v2

Best for MLG settings or BR starts. Onslaught CTF works perfectly In my mind

My map is called flag hunt.
Its a 2 flag map.
Made best for 3v3 to 5v5
There are 2 identical bases facing eachother.
And they are very far apart.
There is no way to the other base.
There are platforms that exstend out at both bases.
On the very last platform is the enemy flag.
Use your sniper to defend your flag and capture your enemys flag.
This is a CTF game for snipers.

This is the gametype for the map flag hunt.
http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3f ileid=77119999
Its called SnipeAndCapture.
You have normal sheilds and a 5 second respawn with unlimited lives.
When you pick up the flag you become 25% slower and have to rely on your allies.
Make sure you have a Red team and a Blue team.
No random colors.
All players both red and blue have a sniper with unlimited ammo and no secondary weapon.
Your sheilds recharge at a normal rate.
I think thats it.

Hi

This is an incredibly frustrating, yet extremely fun, map / gametype.

Peshtrack Gametype

Peshtrack Map

Youtube video of the map and gametype

This is a map variant of Foundry and a game variant of Oddball. It is basically a race. It's one point to win, so the moment you pick up the Oddball, game over.

Easier said than done.

It's a Free For All, but you can deal no damage. However, you are jostling alongside your enemies in narrow lanes, amongst many obstacles and challenges.

There's pits to avoid, fusion coil paths to overcome, tedious teleporters to dodge and much more.

Everything can change in an instant. One player could already be at the mongoose arena, whilst his opponent is only in the soccer lane, and the pit can suddenly come out of nowhere...

2-8 players

Both the map and gametype are made by x PrO NAd3Z X and SteamierSun.

Please rate the map if you download it.

Enjoy !

Map Name: Carnage Cave
Recommended Number of Players: 8+
Recommended Gametypes: Team Slayer, Capture the Flag and Assault.

This is my first map I've made with Forge and I think it's pretty well done. It's a symmetrical map made in the crypt and features many weapons, blocks, walls and two bases on each end, each base identified by the respective light. Weapon placement has been alternated between bases to add an interesting twist and there are no vehicles. The map has every grenade type in it as well as a Flamethrower available in the centre of the map.

I won't go into much more detail about it, but I personally think it's really well done for my first custom map. Carnage Cave works well with every gametype, but King of the Hill and Territories offer tons of action! I didn't make a custom gametype to go with this map because it's perfectly compatible with the default gametypes. but this map is better with Battle Rifle starts. Anyways, I hope people download and enjoy it!

Showstoppers
Please review the list of showstopping map issues. If your answer to all the questions in the Showstopper box is no, say No here: No

About Your Map
1. Write a brief, one paragraph "elevator pitch" for the map. Include primary features of the map, weapon load-out, whatever you think will "sell" the map.

This map was inspired by Lockout from Halo 2 but is very different in many ways. I believe this map stands out as a great 4v4 CTF, Slayer, KOTH, or Assault map as many asymmetrical maps do. There are covered tunnels, wide open battle-grounds, narrow walkways for intense gaming (with bumpers of course), and many treats you will discover along the way. This map is a lot of fun if you're looking for "Lockout" kind of gameplay. Enjoy!

Weapon Loadout:

x5 Battle Rifles (30 sec respawn)
x3 Covenant Carbines (30 sec respawn)
x1 Needler (45 sec respawn)
x2 Brute Shot (60 sec respawn)
x1 Energy Sword (90 sec respawn)
x1 Rocket Launcher (120 sec respawn - 1 extra clip)
x2 Plasma Rifles (30 sec respawn)
x3 SMG (30 sec respawn)
x2 Spikers (30 sec respawn)
x2 Maulers (60 sec respawn)
x1 Shotgun (90 sec respawn - 0 spare clips)
x1 Sniper Rifle (120 sec respawn - 1 spare clip)

Equipment:

x6 Frag Grenades
x8 Plasma Grenades
x6 Spike Grenades

x1 Overshield (120 sec respawn)
x1 Active Camo (120 sec respawn)
x2 Bubble Shields (60 sec respawn)
x1 Regenerator (60 sec respawn)
x1 Power Drainer (60 sec respawn)

2. Is your map symmetrical or asymmetrical?

Asymmetrical

3. How many players best suit your map? Can it support players below or above your ideal player count?

Best suits 2v2 - 4v4. Yes it can support up to 8v8 but not recommended (Fun in customs though).

4. Does your map have vehicles? What purpose do the vehicles serve? Can it sustain vehicles?

No vehicles

5. Does your map have teleporters? What purpose do the teleporters serve?

No teleporters

6. What standard gametypes (Slayer, CTF, Oddball, King, Assault, VIP, Juggernaut, Territories, Infection) are supported by your map? Which work best? Which gametypes are not supported, or do not work best?

Supports all GT's but Jugg/VIP.

Best: Slayer, One-flag, KOTH, Territories, Neutral Bomb, Oddball.

Do not work best: Infection (too open)

7. What non-standard gametypes (Swords, SWAT, Rocket Race, gametypes you have made specifically for your map) might you recommend for your map variant? Provide links if possible/applicable.

I have not made any non-standard gametypes for this but SWAT would be great.

This is the 8th version to date and has been playtested again and again... Ive even done playtests just to find problems/glitches with map and believe I have addressed them all. However, I would love for others to run through the map and see if they can find anything else that needs to be changed in order to make it into MM (be it more cover, weapon placements, respawn times, respawn placements, weapon deletions, more or less equipment, etc..). Any advice is appreciated. Hope you guys like it!

Stonehenge v02b
Stonehenge v02b fileset

Lots of pictures in the fileset.

This map variant has a replica of Stonehenge as its centre piece. It's a reasonable facsimile that includes many of the major stone artifacts of the well known historic site in their relative positions. This map version includes object fusion to clean up some less esthetically pleasing aspects of the original map variant and geo-merging was used on several fallen Sarsen stones to add additional authenticity to this replica.

On either end of the playing field there are two main bases to work from and each shares the circular theme of Stonehenge. I call them Fin and Block base. Two quarter field outposts were added with a hope they help combat the Sniper activity from the half field side bases. The map plays small and does not include vehicles.

Portable Grav lifts were replaced with two permanent versions at either end of the outer ring. Thus eliminating the "elevator glitch" using grav lifts on small damaged columns. The timing from the centre of each base to a power weapon on top of the outer ring is identical.

Three game types are currently implemented. Slayer (FFA and Team), Flag and Assault. I've laid the game out with the intent that combatants will choose to fight through the ruins.

Spawn points inside the historic site only become active during Slayer FFA, Three and Four teams. Flag, Assault and Two Team Slayer do not use these points as I found attackers spawning too close to the defenders to make for a good game.

The weapons are laid out very symmetrically over the entire map. The power weapons are generally inside the henge. Those adventurous enough to take a grav lift to the top will be rewarded with a choice of Sword or Hammer.

Good luck, play fair and have fun. :)

Regarding Stonehenge's alignment with the Summer and Winter Solstice. This replica is aligned with our Sun. Not the one in the Sandbox world. LOL
