Fiddler's Green is a map variant for Infection. It is on The Pit, where there is one base overlooking the tower with the machine gun turret. This is the enterance to the stronghold, as there are weapons and turrets here. If that area is overrun, the survivors can retreat through the telleporter to the next room, which has equipment and another turret. If that area is overrun as well, you can fall back to through the next telleporter to the last resort, a base with only one enterance and exit. This hideout is fully equipped with everything you need to fight off an angry horde of the undead.

It's basically an Infection map on High Ground. You've got humans inside the base. Zombies on the outside. Permanent Gravity lifts are the only way in. Good for 10+ people. Linky up soon. :D

I made this game type called Marathon. Click the link for map downloads and gametype.

I tried to get it to play like the old Marathon games from Bungie. It works surprisingly well and feels like old school Marathon multiplayer. Good fun games are with 6-8 players. Feel free to play with more or less people.

Here are the details.

Player speed is increased
Headshots disabled (hits do the same damage, regardless of location)
Spawn with magnum
No rechargeable shields (Life meter)
No grenades
Player score is averaged(1 point loss for death)
Time limit (7 default, can be changed)

Maps are edited for Marathon gameplay. You'll find plenty of maulers(dual shotties anyone?) the classic-like rocket, flamethrower, assault rifle, plasma pistol, rifle and magnum.

Some things can't be exactly like the real Marathon but its as close as it could be. Please leave feedback, tell me if you guys think something should be changed.

i took valhala and made the weapon layout, vehicle lay out, power up layout all like the gulch. as well as adding teleporters to the bases and more.

Hammer Time! AKA Gravity Hammers are Fun

This is Slayer game variant.
Everyone has an infinite ammo Gravity Hammer that is a one hit kill. The player or players in the lead are pink with 200 percent speed and 75 percent gravity. Everyone else is black with bad active camo, 300 percent speed, and 50 percent gravity. The leaders also have a waypoint over their head, and does not have radar. First to 15 wins. Best for 3-6 players.

The map just removes the turret and changes the spawns.
Tips: Use the Gravity Hammer as a way to change your direction while in the air. The power-up in the middle makes you white and invincible for 30 seconds.

Skelrows - A Narrows Map Variant

This variant provides for the most hectic Team Slayer battle you will ever have on Narrows. I'd recommend just using the default Team Slayer. Two-team objective games such as assault or CTF may work as well. I think it's a blast. Games quickly become very chaotic. Screenshots below.

Starting Area
Each team spawns in their respective bases. Straight ahead is a one-way teleporter which provides a quick route to the lower area. In the distance you'll see a barricade of boxes blocking the middle of the bridge. Scattered on the ground from spawn to the center of the bridge are various close-combat weapons. Battle rifles lie on the side-ramps.

Bridge Wall
As you reach the center of the bridge, you'll notice that there's a bigass -blam!- wall in your way. If you look closer, you'll see that it's surrounded by fusion coils. Each team has a Minigun and in the center and Covenant Plasma Cannon to the side, as well as gravlifts for quickly hopping over the barricade.

As you shoot the fusion coils, you might notice -blam!- blowing up around you. Please remain calm. It's best to wait until the enemy attempts to get through before setting off the coils.

The POWER TOWER
The POWER TOWER Falls!
Atop the bridge center-wall-tower are these unreachable goodies. Flamethrower, Fuel Rod Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Overshield. Which way will the tower tip? If you're not careful, all the weapons will go sliding off the side of the bridge! Or everything could spill on the enemy team's side! Cross your fingers when you set off the fusion coils, or try to climb to the top yourself.

Lower Mongoose Area
Now remember that teleporter in each team's base? This is where it leads. Each team has a Mongoose, sword, and piece of equipment, for a quick, not-so-sneaky one-man assault behind the enemy's defenses.

Lower-Area Mongoose Ramp
As you speed quickly over the lower-bridge you'll find that there's a big ol' ramp of boxes and pallets, so you can shout "yeehaw" as you soar into the enemy base. Each side has a pile of firebomb grenades and a Minigun for defense. A regenerator and Bubble Shield spawn on the mongoose ramp if you'd rather walk than ride.

Oh, but you didn't realize the enemy knew about those fusion coils hidden beneath the ramp. Sorry, better luck next time.

The sides opposite the man-cannon are boobie-trapped with fusion coils. There's a handy beam-rifle on the ground there so you can snipe opposing team's hazard zone and incinerate anyone unlucky enough to wander in, but be careful that you don't get blown up yourself.

Man Cannon Goodies
On the Man-Cannon sides, each team gets a Plasma Cannon, Sniper Rifle and Spartan Laser. Below are gravlift deployables.

Etc.
Below and around to the center (at the lowest point of the map), there's a Gravity Hammer, and behind each man-cannon are two Shotguns and two Magnums. At the rear of each Hazard Zone is a Trip Mine deployable.
I did my best to stagger the respawn times of the boxes and pallets so that the wall in the center and the mongoose ramp below would tend to reform correctly after being detonated, but in the midst of battle things are so crazy all the time boxes end spawning and then just blowing up again right away.

And that's pretty much it. Enjoy!

I made my Forge King Of The Hill On Valhalla variant for 2 teams of 6-8! It's covenant weaponary versus UNSC with 3 hills, rockets, spart. lasers, flying vehicles and tanks for each side. It's a bit of a vehicle fest so i balanced it with suitable amounts of rockets. Wouldnt let me place covenant carbines so they start with 2 ghosts, chopper, wraith, banshee, 2 active camo and an extra sniper rifle to match the UNSC scorpion, 3 mongooses, warthog, (battle rifles), and 1 sniper.

Also tweaked item, equipment, vehicle spawn times to make it balanced and I hope you like it!

EvilDead Deader Zombie Game

EvilDead Deader and 27.9 days later game type

These two go hand in hand so download both. EvilDead Deader is a map variant of Pit and portrays a town ravaged by Zombies. There are plenty of places to camp and all are not overpowered. Nothing but compliments on this map made by me and two friends. 25% of the people start as zombies and die in abotu 2 shots from most weapons(or about 15% of a smg/AR clip). There are ofcourse hidden weapons on the map like Spartan Laserx2, rockets but ofcourse those are for fun not really productiive in a zombie game lol. All weapons are unrespawnable and limited ammo so dont waste it.

Hope you enjoy it, i have played with up to 12 people at once and it is a amazing experience. Even fun with only 6 or so people.

Basically, you are only armed with a shotgun, which has instant kill, and it is FFA. Kind of like SWAT with shotguns, very fun. There is nothing else on the map either.

Hill 400: Reinact the Historic WWII Battle in Halo 3!

...Well kinda.

This varient is designed for intense and enjoyable Territories action. The offensive team spawns at both bases while the defense spawns at the only Territory: the infamous Hill 400. The goal is simple: capture the hill at any cost. It will be no easy task, however. The hill is heavily fortified with plenty of barriers, deployable cover, a regenerator, and a armory of weapons including 4 high calibur turrent emplacements. The offense, on the other hand, gets standard weapons (sans snipers and missle pods) as well as radar jammers, flares, and power drains.

All this adds up to an equations for an awesome Halo 3 experiance: 2 teams+ 1 Hill+ 5,087,459 rounds of ammuntion= ultimate carnage!

Best played with 8-16 people, Territory capture time of 15 seconds, and round time of 7 minutes.

Target Practice Map

This map is not a traditional map. It is not designed for traditional deathmatches. It is great, however, for 1 or more people to play. Fusion coils spawn at random over a mancannon where they are launched across the map. You are given a stock of weapons all orginized in one place with which to shoot them down. This is a great map to warm up with before you jump right into competition; it really gets your fingers flexible so your aiming is better. It is also great for when you are tired of competition and just want to relax.

Please download this map and rate it after you've played it. I'm open to any critisisms or feedback, and will address any problems that may occur. This is best played on a standard slayer gametype, with battlerifles or snipers turned on as starting weapons. This is not necessary, however, as you always spawn near the weapon stock which is loaded with snipers, beam rifles, BRs, brute shots, rockets, splasers and more.

Have Fun.

Tips: For an extra challenge, try sticking the coils in midair with a spick grenade or bursting them into flames with a fire bomb. For an even harder trick, try timing a rocket to hit them in mid air. When you get in a rhythm in one area, move to the other side of the hill and try again

Also, I'd like to recommend a map made by MK5. It has almost 2000 downloads and is currently rated #19 in the world. It the first and only water base I've seen, and is a lot of fun on infection or just to mess around on. Here is a link to his map. Linky

My friends and I had an idea for what could be a fun mongoose based gametype which would be called joust. It would be well a joust; essentially the idea is to get at least four players on a flat map with a good wide strait area to drive on. Players would spawn with grav hammers, infinite ammo is on, and you'd get damage increase so you can destroy the other mongoose easily and possibly damage resistence I haven't tested it enough to be sure. Players would obviously get in teams of two with a driver and a passenger who'd be the jouster, and then they'd drive straight at each other but not quite head on collision straight a little off to the side. The object is to either kill the passenger or to destroy the mongoose. I'm working on a way to make it work but I don't have enough people around generally to test it and I have yet to find a map that can be edited for my purposes but as soon as I do I'll put up a link to it and better instructions.

Meant for slayer or team slayer, up to 8 players is preferred. each team starts in the upper level rooms that you can only get to by spawning, only way out is by three teleporters, which take you to more rooms where your only way out is another teleporter. Lots of shotguns, maulers for close quarters combat. Can't tell you everything or you wouldn't be confused when you play it, and that wouldn't be a true representation of how it was to play Chiron!

Updated version of Construct now it is more well balanced for Team Slayer. Added a grav lift and teleportor to add two more access points to the top level, in addition to the two teleporters that take you to the ledges overlooking the rocket spawn. In asymmetrical games the assaulting team's ledge is blacked to prevent them from instant access to the rockets and flag. This map is very good for One Flag CTF and Team Slayer, teams of 4 preferred. Lots of BR's, two rocket launcers, a missile pod for the attackers and spartan laser and flamethrower for the defenders in asymmetrical games. Spartan laser turns into needler, flamethrower turns into carbine, and the missile pod disappears in symmetrical games. Two turrets at each teams spawns create a no man's land in the middle, but barricades and crates are added to create cover, but watch out for fusion cores strewn about. Used carefully, there is a fusion core that will knock over a radio antenna to create an easy ramp right to the flag spawn, but the defenders are given three shotguns so be careful. The antenna will reset after a few seconds so it doesn't give the attackers a permanent advantage, and it doesn't always fall perfectly so be aware of which angle you blow up the fusion core from. Should be much more fair and balanced in all gametypes (It's set up for all slayer, CTF, bomb, oddball, territories, etc...) with the updates I made, in addition to being much more dangerous. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Probably has been done before but I just made this for fun. Little base on Sandtrap, most weapons dont respawn, few vehicles, humans spawn with AR + pistol and the gametype can be customly made. I usually do a 7 minute survive time, zombies are 200% speed, spawn with sword, 25%/50% Aplha zombies.
