Here are my three maps which I would like to get the notice they deserve, based on the hours spent on them...
The Hangar is the first map and is on the ground level of Sandbox. With a curved roof and base on top, the Hangar is the most notable feature on the map containing three Banshees and one Hornet, an open side which brings about exiting via aircraft, three entry ways for people on foot, and a three differnet routes to the upper base. There are two identical bases on either side of the Hangar, no line of sight, containing the means to take down the flying vehicles and whatever else the enemy throws at them. Missile Pods are numerous as well as a Spartan Laser and Rockets to help those unlucky enough to be caught on foot protect themselves from two Scorpions, two Gauss 'Hogs, four Mongeese, and Snipers at either Base. Players may also make use of the abundant cover throughout the map to enjoy the many gametypes supported by this map. Pics: 1,2,3,4
The second map is Spartans!.... It is also Sondbox based but in the SkyBubble. More of a small team or free for all map this map has a lot of cover, broken sight lines and many close range weapon pickups. I'm affraid the BR will only do so much on this map. There are hidden treats for those who think that a clear advantage goes without consequence. All gametypes of course. Pics: 1,2
The third and final map is City of Gold. This map was inspired by the Aztec ruins or Tenochtitlan and the sacrificial center building. This map has two very insignifigant bases that stand for a starting points of the map. With little cover and lots of attack points your best bet is to bring your fight to the center structure. The center building has a very steel four story staircase that ascends into the sacrificial area. The old Structure does seem unstable where the floor has fallen out giving passage from the top into the bowels of the structure. The top level has much cover from incoming attackers but provides cover equally for attackers as well. The inside is maze like and has many ramps and hidden access points. The backside of the structure has a curious hole which leads to the Sacrificer's Knife (Energy Sword), but be quick or it will slip your grasp. Pics: 1,2,3,4,5
Enjoy the Maps and Rate them Please...
Pics are in recent screenshots so they may not be there long :)
