zombies spawn in front of weapons and power ups e.g Custom Power up + carbine= Jackal
and Overshield + Gravity ham + fuel rod = Brute Chieftain.

Last man standing is almost like a spartan

Remember ODST's are not Spartans they die quickly teamwork is vital

The Impossible Obstical Course?

This obstical course built on Sandbox, uses the gametype named the same as the map - Sand-Course. It was built by me, C Webb 1995, and no one off my friends list has ever completed this map, neither have I. If anyone ever completes this map, please send me a video of it :)

Laser Bash

Taking place under Sandbox, this map features a training course inside of a fenced arena. Inside the arena is an all-out free-for-all, where everyone fights with only spartan lasers (with slightly faster and heavier characters).

However, there are a few twists...When someone dies, they respawn outside of the arena, with only a little space in the fence to see (or interfere with) the action inside. They also respawn with black armor, making them harder to see in the already dark environment. The anxiety runs rampant as the players in the arena fight each other, whilst also looking out for those who seek vengeance.

The last man standing wins the round, and the best of 10 rounds wins the game.

Recommended for 5-10 players.

EDIT: Now added is a brand new alternative map, where the same rules apply, but instead of the respawned characters spawning outside of the map, they now spawn inside of a hut in one of the corners above the map, able to shoot through a little slit down into the arena, which is also edited to be much larger, and requires more thinking on the survivors' part.

Aliens Game Variant
8+ PLAYERS

You are the clean up crew sent to LV-426 to ensure the xenomorph threat has been contained after the destruction of the Sulaco and contact is lost with its crew.
In orbit it seems apparent that despite the 100% casualty rate the marines of the Sulaco managed to destroy the alien hive on the planet

After your crew have finished almost all of its scans of the planet a small glint catches the pilots eye. The remains of an orbit lab used for experiments in zero g come into focus on the main screen as it aimlessly drifts towards the dark side of the planet.

After inspecting all information given of the colony by the Weyland-Yutani corp and there being no mention of an advanced laboritory in close orbit on LV-426 your captain sends you and your squad on a search and rescue on the dark decrepid lab.

Just after your team lands the dock breaks away and your transport drifts off into the darkness.
You radio in and another landing craft is despatched, but until it arrives you have no where to retreat and almost no visabilty....





ok thats the plot i have in my head, you start with one infected who spawns near a custom powerup that leaves them invisible for a minute giving them more then enough time to sneak up and take their first victim. you each have 6 lives (1 marine, 5 alien) there are flares and weapons at your starting point but most dont respawn, you need to go deaper into the darkness to find power weapons thet respawn but in doing so you get closer to the hive where all aliens spawn.
there are several routes across the coridors (over and under) so you cant be sure of a safe corner anywhere, that added to the fact that aliens sport enhanced radar with 75m range
try to stay alive untill the rescue hornet spawns and gives you a chance to escape (and kill a few aliens the easy way before the end of the round)
last man standing becomes a bit faster and a bit better at jumping (nothing compaired to the aliens) and gains a big sheild to give him a fighting chance

please let me know where i can improve the consept or map
i know im not original with the alien theme or with its gameplay mechanic but there really is no better way to set itin my mind

A couple days back I started making a map. The Idea was that it would be a asymetrical one-sided assault map with a huge defense zone, and the whole level was to take place on the interior of a spaceship. Each team spawns off the side of the ship, in A: a maintenance room(attackers/blue) or B: a escape pod room(defenders/red). I'll start with the attackers. Coming out of their room, the first see a engine, which has gone through some ugly overhauls due to budget and the ITEM LIMIT!(FIX) There is a sniper here, and a power drain. To the right of the engine, the team can see a huge room with coulourful lights, and big shapes. Thats the reactor. I dont know how it works. Sorry. If they chose to go straight from their base, they would be led up a flight of stairs that leads to a enclosed hallway, the only enclosed space on the map.

Now the defenders. They spawn in a room with windows on the outside wall, and they need to go up to get out. If the turn left, they enter the hallway that I previously spoke about, or if they turn right, into my favourite part of the map. They enter the controln room/brigdge. It has four huge windows with sheild doors inside of them, and a huge stair case. This is the main room for defending in One Bomb, Flag, and probably slayer. There is a rocket there, as well as a Brute shot, and it leads down into the reactor room.

i find the same problem,
the budget is fine on its own as you wont need it all if you know how to make a map (unless you have grand ideas lol)
BUT limiting walls and tunnels etc.. means you have one hand tied behind your back when you try to make a clostrophobic map with lots of hallways or even want the map to look anything but thrown together with random parts because you run out!!

I made a map called evolution.
Throughout game play it changes, with new weapons platforms, bases etc. spawning as the game goes. there are weapons platforms that spawn different weapons(dual weildables, rifles, and heavy weapons), an ever changing base in the center and changing vehicles.

Paintball

This gametype is used for both NPPL Speedball! and NPPL Speedball2 both of which are paintball maps. This gametype allows for realistic paintball experiences which include realistic gravity and speed. Combine with the two maps made for it, its a great paintball game. For those of you who think it's a huge map with random bunkers you're wrong. It's a speedball gametype with speedball maps. If you ever watch NPPL on T.V. then thats what our game is. But all in all its a great game. If you love paintball then this is the game for you. ENJOY!

this is a ffa slayer map is ment for 6-8 people.The ghost makes a come back in this map but they dont dominate. as we know they can.theres a rocket in the middle 2 snipers in 2 of the bases which are on the sides not featured in the screenshot. their is a oversheild and a camo on the top ring above the middle section. if you want them your going to have to take a risk to get them... theirs some brute shots and stickys to make sure the ghosts cant go crazy. even though this map uses the entire crypt it tends to be a pretty balls to the wall map. it has been tested no spawnkilling should occour please leave a comment if there is. if you have any comments or complaints id love to hear em so dont hold back. i want honesty about this map and if it needs some more tweaking. thanks for takeing the time to look at it and remember to leave a comment and or rate it. peace

stadium is a average team slayer map it has 3 levels to it 2 rooms on the side much like the sword room on the pit for all you campers out there. a rocket in the middle and a oversheild and a camo on the top level. also barriers on the side so it harder to fall off im not sure how to describe it any more so go to the screenshot for awnsers heres the next map

Supporting team members on the above running board need to fully engulf a killball before a flag runner can run through a killball.

Two spawns are near the flag spawn.

Per each side are two bubbles.

Description:
A small neiborly shopping center that has everything you need which includes: a gas station, repair shop, strip mall, and a corner complex stores. A small apartment is right above the sorner complex stores, which is for the owner of the building. But everything changes when a new truck load of supplies comes in not just carrying the cargo but a virus. You try to stay together but you end up getting seperated and end up defending for yourself.

Von's Village was designed so that both zombies and humans have an equal shot at either surviving or well just trying to consume the surviving. To help the zombies have a fighting chance, the humans only have limited ammo. Also when spawning, only one human spawns in each shop.

Journey's End
Base Map: Sandbox

Journey's End is, of course, a complete original map on Sandbox. It is best suited to Team-based games, and excels with CTF and Assualt. It is a large map with long sight lines, but thanks to the Kill Ball (!) in the sky it is almost impossible to camp in the bases and snipe. If you're going for sniper kills, get on the ground and run.
The vehicles and weapons are balanced, but the power weapons have little to no spare ammo, aside from the starting clip.

Nightmare
Base Map: Cold Storage

There's a lot going on here. There is a shield door in almost every door way, cloaks are everywhere, almost all Covenant weapons, and the teleporters are all two-way on the same channel, so they never come out in the same spot. The Nova, Juicy and Gloomy FX's have been added, making for a scary experience if one is playing an Infection game type. There are cloaks around almost every corner, but really all they do is make the player a translucent black shape.

This is like a bad dream come to life. Good luck finding your way out of this Nightmare. 2-6 players

Hi everyone! Welcome to my map. The name of the map is Vortex. This map is an octagonal structure used to play the oddball variant Quack Ball. I hope you like it!

Basic structure
-8-sided
-2 layers
-lower layer made of shield walls
-upper layer made of double boxes
-bridges allow players to climb to the upper layer
-oddball spawns in the center of the upper layer
-more bridges allow players to reach the oddball

Gameplay (using the Quack Ball variant)
1) All players and mongooses spawn at the center of the octagon on the bottom layer.
2) The mongooses immediately are caught in the vortex.
3) The first objective is to escape the vortex by passing through the shield doors. (If a player is hit by a mongoose he will die.)
4) Not all players will make it out at the same time. Those who do will need to pick up an energy sword and climb to the upper layer.
5) On the upper layer there are custom power-ups and soccer balls. Custom power-ups allow players to kill other players. Soccer balls can be knocked down to add to the vortex.
6) Bridges will spawn 45 second into the game allowing players to reach the ball. The round ends once the ball is picked up by a player. That player recieves one point.

Some pointers
-When you first spawn the only way to kill your opponents is to assassinate them.
-When your reach the top grab the custom power-ups and DO NOT jump for the ball. You will not reach it. Bridges will spawn after 45 seconds and allow you to reach it.
-If you are killed by another player, you will be penalized will a 3 second respawn penalty and you will have to start over, so avoid dying.
-Once you grab the custom power-up you will lose your radar so watch your back!

I just made a map on Sandbox called, War Stadium. It took me 4 1/2 hours to complete. It can only be played on the game variant I have on my fileshare, LOL. Please don't question the name of the variant. On the middle ground, No one fights because it's really boring. Down below is the anti-camper stadium with only one escape besides death. I know in the ODST forum I said I'd be heading out till I beat ODST but I have to come back 2 or 3 more times before it's officially official. Anyhow, just wanted to promote my maps and gametypes before I leave.

Night Fight is a wonderful game to play using my gametype ODST which mirrors ODST's style of play closer than any other gametype you've seen before. I've had friends who hate every game imaginable, they hate custom content period, yet they love this game. Close Quarters can be fun using ODST as well but it's mostly for ODST Teams. Finally, I'd like to show off Crater (Night) which was made by someone else but I touched it up with a few things required for this gametype called Firefight which is and has been only mine.

Everything except Crater is original content developed by me. Firefight was partially developed but completely tested by my group Firefight Challengers. Thanks and hope you like them, btw, I just noticed in the weekly update that the weekend before ODST is released there's a double xp weekend pertaining to ODST's gameplay style. Well if Bungie did what I think they did, then our gametypes shouldn't be any different what so ever. Test to see if you like.
