That's the wrong way to describe a map...

The correct way to do a post about your map is the following:

The Crypt

Built in the "crypt" area of Sandbox, the map is a multi-leveled arena; the battlefield is complete with Sword and Overshields!

You spawn in one of two areas:

The Red Team's spawn box, or the Blue Team's spawn box. From there, each team has a sniper tower on their left and a looming building of pain in the center.

The basement brings the competitors from medium to long range combat directly down into close range. With an elevator on either side, opponents fight for control of this area (King of the Hill, maybe?) and race for the sword high above.

Sword's Spawn

If you survive the basement area, you earn the right to wield the Energy Sword. Don't fret, there are shotguns on the map as well to help combat this evil weapon. And with plenty of plasma nades spread around, nube sticking shall run rampant.

The sniper towers stand at either corner of the map, safe-guarding their respective team's spawn zone. Watch out, though, if an enemy gets too close, the same windows that shrink your kill box also shrink your viewing angle.

Zealot, a Juggernaut game variant
After extensive research in Halo 1, I have found the settings to recreate the Halo 1 Zealot in Halo 3. The Zealot can hijack vehicles (vehicle use > passenger only). The Zealot has 3x overshield and 500 damage resistance. Players deal 200% damage. The player who is first to die becomes a Halo 1 Zealot. The objective is to take down the Zealot, who spawns with the Energy Sword. Weapon pickup is disabled for the Zealot. The Zealot starts with no grenades.

Recommended map: Valhalla, Valhalla Heavy

Cold Light, a Cold Storage variant
Energy blockers block the Flood rooms. No other changes made. This map variant is intended for 2-4 players.

Recommended gametype: Slayer, Team Slayer

Cold Stop
A variant of Cold Light. Respawn points in the sniper/active camo room have been deleted. Respawn points under the sniper/active camo room have been deleted. All players respawn in the main room. Also intended for 2-4 players.

Recommended gametype: Slayer, Team Slayer

Top of Longshore
For use in Forge and Custom Games. The deactivated teleporter (surrounded by street cones) allows you to explore the top of Longshore as a Monitor when you reactivate it; change it to 0 and go through it as the Monitor. The already activated teleporter allows you to access a secret sniping spot for Custom Games. 4-12 players.

Recommended gametype: Slayer

Citadel Covies
All Human/Forerunner objects deleted and replaced with Covenant objects. For example, Power Cores replaced with Covenant Plasma Batteries. Also, all scenery items (except Power Cores) have been deleted for Forge. I recommend using Forerunner Crates and using the interior design of Tower 1 and Tower 3 on The Covenant to get started. 2-6 players.

Recommended gametype: Slayer, Team Slayer

Plinko: Halo 3 style

the classic "price is right" game makes its way into the halo universe with this one of a kind map. simply push the ball into the board and watch as it tumbles down hitting pegs and making its way into one of the slots. how much can you score?

I started working on and planned to release an ODST map and game type before Halo ODST was actually released so you can probably see its been dragging on. It was nearing completion when I got the error message "to many objects on map" or something like it and also when things simply vanished in custom games I gave up. Still its got potential and is currently a single CTF but could be converted into a slayer.
Anyway with patience it won't take long so message me if you want to have a go at finishing it off.

Sand Castle, map varient of Sandbox

Good team map, one castle on each side of the map. The spawns are terrible for free for all so all ways do teams here. compatable with all game types except juggernaught. Two levels of play, open area with a rocket launcher in the center. Players that can use the crouch jump can go over the walls at the front and bypass the entrance ramp.

Number of Players: 4-10
Game varients: CTF, Assault, Team Slayer, King of the Hill, and Oddball.

volcano v5 good for any gamtype
a huge volcano with platforms around in the air and on the sand and a building on sandbox its most likely there wont be a v6

arena for gametype arena
2 people fight the rest watch on foundry

mushroom not edited for gametypes
a huge mushroom in the middle, wepon base and a teleporter leading out of the map in the corner

to the loo for slayer not team slayer
get to the loo at the end of the course and every weapon and piece of equiptment awaits you

I have Coup 5, I just can't be arsed setting it up.

Squad Combat
Game Type: Influental VIP
Recommended Number of Players: 8-16 in teams of 4

A more tactical version of Team Slayer. No shields, no sensors, double weapon damage, 1 life per round, 90% speed and 150% gravity. The players must fight as a squad to protect their specialist (the VIP) and survive. The specialist is armed with an Assault Rifle and a Rocket Launcher but the rest of his team have an Assault Rifle and a Pistol. While in 25 meters of their teams specialist players will get the benefits of his shield generator and sensor. This game mode is good for both small frantic maps and larger more paced maps.

Sabotage
Game Type: One-sided Assault
Recommended Number of Players: 8+, as long as the teams are even, the more the merrier

The settings are exactly the same as Squad Combat. Each player has 10 lives per round with synchronized spawning so the attackers come in waves. I'd recommend maps like High Ground and Last Resort for this game mode.

Hangar 18

Basically a red vs blue map where the object is to get to the top before the other team, get the bomb, and then go into the corresponding teleporter. (For example red goes in red teleporter, blue goes in blue teleporter.) It is made for Neutral assault so you can basically use those settings on it and tweak the settings however you want to. Basically escape the hangar, get the bomb, go into the corresponding teleporter. Blow the bomb up. Win. This map however will test you and your team's skill. Try it if you think you can do well enough.

Knock Out

The map is on sandbox and is in the crypt from here, there is 2 grand stands and close observation points, from the close observation and grand stand a person can see what is going on in the octagon.

The gametype offers 10, 3 minute rounds where 1 person from the two teams will face off in a melee battle, the resistance is 2000% with 50% damage and players start off with plasma pistols allowing the match to end in either 3 ways, time out, assassination and beat down. Assassinations gives a 5 point bonus over a beat down and time out will give no points for the end of the round. can be up to 16 players both teams are seperated and can not attack each other only the ones within the octagon. overall i have tested this map with a couple of friends and allows for great fun and practice towards getting quick assassinations. some problems are that you have to keep an eye out just incase you get too close the windows for someone to assassinate you from the outside.

Zealot, a Slayer game variant
Basically, all players start out with 3x overshield, 500% damage resistance, 50% slower recharge rate, and Energy Swords. There are no weapons, grenades, or vehicles on the map and weapon pickup is enabled, allowing players to pick up equipment. It takes 7 sword melee/lunge to kill the player. With 125% speed and 75% gravity, assassinations should be easy and fun to execute. 1 bonus point for assassination.

Elite Spec-Ops
For use on Heretic map and map variants. Team Slayer variant. Players start out with SMG as primary, the Energy Sword as secondary, and 2 plasma grenades (frag grenades on any other map). Players have 200% damage resistance and 90% slower recharge rate. Players respawn with Active Camo for 10 seconds, allowing them to coordinate attacks efficiently.

Barrier Tower
Citadel Covies map variant. Basically, the inside of the Citadel resembles the inside of Towers 1 and 3 on The Covenant. Forerunner supply crates replace Covenant supply cases. This map is ideal for map default number of players. 2-6 players.

So, here is my first attempt at making some maps. There's no special gametypes or anything, just the maps. They are both good for Team Slayer, KotH, Assault but do support all gametypes (maybe not great for VIP/juggernaught). Link and details below, feedback welcome.

Vertigo!!
As the title suggests this map has a vertical theme with many pillars, columns and a few walkways. There is one central banshee up top equidistant from both bases and obviously a big plus if you can take command of this. Though ghosts and wariths are also available for both teams. Open plan bases on various levels and some nice sight lines for defence/attack. Flag and bomb spawn/plant of each team clearly visible for added spice and challenge. A great map, and enjoyable to play on.

HogRoast!!
A more simple layout with fortified "bunker type" bases. Choppers, Hog's and a couple Mongooses are available, as well as a central flamethrower for that crispy finish on your adversary. This map is all about strategy, if you attack too strong your base is left free and a 'goose run away from a flag capture or bomb plant. Effective use of the vehicles is key.

Alpha cairo- small symetrical map for slayer and team slayer

i use this for no scoping games with my friends but it supports any slayer games and some ctf. inspiration came from the level on halo 2 where the cairo is being boarded

If you're gonna complain. Have a legitimate argument.

Annual- A map with thin passageways and ramps in order to mimic the end driving sequence of the last level of Halo 3. I planned to add bombs dropping from the sky in order to give it a better feel and still maybe will. I intended this to give people something to practice on for the Annual achievement since many have more trouble with not falling off at the end than battling their way to the end.

Pre-game neccessities-
I highly recommend setting custom power-up settings to boost speed and jump to maximum in order to survive the last jump without a vehicle. I'd have a pre-made game type to download for you but I'm out of slots.

Vehicles-
1 warthog at the start
4 ghosts at the start
1 tank at the end (a reward for those who make it)

Weapons-
Anything you bring with you.
1 golf club should you make it to the end.

Explanation of few weapons-
This map (as with the end of Halo 3) is more based on speed and driving as opposed to killing things which is why there aren't any weapons on the course. If you really want to kill something, grab a ghost and shoot.

Optimized for-
Slayer
Territories (should you make the final and most difficult jump, there is a teleporter that leads you to a golf course and several territories)

The tunnels-
There are two paths through the tunnels part of the map, one is very easy to get through and allows multiple people through. However it closes up after 30 seconds of the game so you have to be fast to get to it. The other path actually goes up so needless to say only one person can make it at a time. If your vehicle gets stuck just jump out, the custom power up (if configured correctly) will give you enough speed and jump force to make the final jump without a vehicle.

I would like to humbly submit my finest creations for your enjoyment. I would like to introduce a game so good that on a scale of 1 to Win, it has been described as Uber Win. Ladies and Gents i give you....


Bullrun

A 7 round gametype for use on the following maps...
Drag Race and Mini Drag

Details: At the start, each player must choose a different team colour. Then once the game starts, you need to wait 10 seconds before you start racing, otherwise you'll just fall to your death and be subject to the ridicule you deserve. On both maps it is a point to point race, first one over the finish line gets the point and then a new round starts. There are 7 rounds in each game. Drag Race is the Warthog variant and is best when you have 6 players. Mini Drag is for upto 8 players and features some mongoose action. It is an achievement if you can get to the end without at least toppling over once.

Speed Battles

Speed Battles is a map in the underground court of sandbox. It's a classic paint ball style map for fast paced battles of Slayer, all CTF varients, and neutral assault.

The map supports two teams for all game types, spawning on opposite sides of the map. Players must be on the move from the beginning of the game dashing between what little cover is offered and often having to run across expanses of open ground. Will you dash to the center for the flame thrower or jump to the island for the explosive power of the rocket launcher.
