I have two Ideas, here is my best idea...has been the most popular idea in the polls I've ran about map ideas.


My Idea is an Air Battle mostly, similar in premise to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 space battles. 32 players total for the map, so 16 players per team would be great, but I understand that it probably can't happen, so just the full 16 players will work I guess. The Map is Huge, and it's almost all done in an air dog fight. You have a Covenant ship on one side and a human Frigate on the other for the bases and spawn points. You have 3 Banshees and 3 Hornets in each Hangar ready to take off into the fight, but it would be smart to leave some of your players on your ship to defend it from boarders.

You are pretty far up in the air over either an ocean/waterfall/structures portion of one of the rings, or you are over top of a human city where a huge war is taking place below you. You can look below and make out scarabs and tanks and other air vehicles and personnel fighting below you, to make it feel like you are just part of a larger war that's going on around you. You could also have it look like there are other air battles going on around you to intensify the feeling of being in a war. You could also add in weather effects, so that sometimes when you play the map, you will have lightning and thunder and rain, and othertimes there's sunshine and scattered clouds, or hail bouncing off of your aircraft, or snow accumulating on the ships.

You can exit the hangar of either Base from a few different places so it's harder for the other team to camp and destroy ships as soon as they come out. There can also be turret stations on top of and on the sides of the ship to help kill campers and help in the air battle if you'd like. Possibly add a gauss stationary turret to the weapons as well for this one (just a thought).

You can board the other teams ship/base to try to infiltrate their base, but it will be a huge hangar that is heavily defended on each. I think the inside of the Hangar area should be similar to the Hangar you enter on Halo CE on the Truth and Reconciliation board, only add turret stations and embankments with heavy weapons and choke points so it's very difficult to board and infiltrate the other team's base. Maybe for some scenery, have there be a scarab inside of the Covie ship, and maybe an Elephant inside the human's frigate. Have Gauss Hogs and Choppers inside that can be used for extra heavy fire for defense as well. However, you are able to board the other teams ship, blow up their ships, or kill their defenders on the turrets.

This could be a slayer match or a capture the flag match easily. You could also make a VIP game out of it that would take a lot more skill to kill the VIP on. There currently is no way for me to make this match happen in Forge, or else I'd try.

My second Idea is another one I can't create in the Forge, so I can't show what it's like. But it would be a huge map, where there would either be One Scarab that one team is defending and the other is trying to kill, or there are two scarabs, and each team is trying to kill the other team's scarab. It would have to be a new game type or a variation of an existing gametype, because it's like VIP, only the VIP is the Scarab. You could utilize the Hornet, the Tanks, Gauss Warthogs, Missile pods, Sniper Rifles, Choppers, and basically just every weapon and vehicle in Halo 3 here.


Also, another idea I've had for a slayer game is to have a time based slayer instead of a kill count based slayer. Make it 15 or 20 minutes long and whichever team or player has killed the most when the time runs out, wins. This could work on any map, it could work on lone wolves, Big Team Battles, regular team slayers, Rumble Pit, etc etc.

Map: SandTrap
Recommended GameType: Team Slayer (2 teams only)

There are two bases, straight across from each other, that have a variety of vehicles and weapons (all human). In the middle there are fusion coils raining down making it nearly impossible to walk through. Between the two bases, over looking the battlefield, is a huge tower with one teleporter leading up to it. At the top of the tower there is an arsenal of heavy weapons including: Spartan Laser, Rocket Launcher, and Sniper Rifles. Wage war between bases or over the tower....

(I like to think of this map as sort of a “Tower of Power " map, basically because if you have the tower you can control the game by blowing up enemy vehicles or by just picking off the other team with your Sniper Rifle.)

Note: there are hidden Sniper Rifles and Teleporters throughout the map... they could prove very helpful in a tight spot.

I made a game similar to super smellytim's called Flash Zombies. It is played on sandtrap players ride on mongoose one on back with pistol. Zombies die in 1 hit BUT Zombies have 300% speed and 50% gravity making them as fast as the mongoose(humans are default). I havent hooked up my gamertag to my bungie.net account but my gamertag is Boldtitan and I have it on my file share.

P.S I have a clip where i evaded 5 Zombies on Flash Zombies by splaterring them with two wheels, them hitting me and me doing a frontflip, triple barrel roll, wheelie.It was awesome

I don't think I've seen anyone else with this besides probably a couple of my friends who got it from me but this is a great map variant of The Pit. Its almost a glitch i think or something. I was able to get a teleporter to a place you can't normally go which turned out to be great for a team sniping game. Game: CHIEFTAN VIP; One sided VIP the VIP represents the Brute Chieftan he is red. He has 2000% damage resistance, 2x Overshields that don't recharge, Spawns with the Hammer and has unlimited ammo. The VIP's team represent Grunts. They are orange, have no shields, and spawn with needlers. The attacking team is default and green representing Spartans. No starting grenades, but they are on the map. The game is 4 rounds, at 5 minutes a piece. A VIP death ends the round.

2 teams, at least 8 players, preferably 12 but more may work also.

Map: OVERWHELM; Varient of Narrows. The mancannons have continually spawning fusioncores so it is a bad idea to use them. The Spartans start on the light side, the rocket is moved up due to the 3 plasma cannons manned in the middle by 3 starting point Grunts. Two Fuel Rod cannons spawn on the dark side, one at the bottom of the ramp, the other next to the Custom Powerup which is just a weak cammo.

Its a really fun game, its better when you get up to 10 or 12 people. Check it out!!!

Mongoose race track "Splash Track" on Last Resort
Download gametype found below. There are huge jumps some with air lifts, i used everything in the map to make this track even portals. This map is made for huge party's but i like it best with 8 people. The mongeese start in the water (sort of hard to see them). You spawn next to mongeese. lots of good feedback from my beta testers and i quote, "this is now my favorite racetrack you have made".

So now your asking ok so you gata sweet map now were is the game type? well the gametype has you spawning at the mongoose's, includes no killing, its a VIP gametype so each person in the game needs to be on his own team, because every time you pass the finish line it gives the VIP a point and not the regular guy. Also I would like to thank all of my beta testers and the people who have helped me make this map.

Will be adding a new race map to my fileshare tonight. It is a mongoose race on guardian complete with jumps, obstacles etc.. Also you start with infinite ammo for a plasma pistol only so you can choose to dismount from the goose and charge blast your opponent before he makes a jump ( thats a classic). Anyways lots of fun and its my first map so tell me what you think, thank you.. ENJOY!!

The Arena, a remake of Isolation

The detailed description of the map can be found in my File Share, but I'll sum it up here:
Not a lot of people seem to like the way Isolation is laid out, including me. What I've done is created a new version of Isolation in which the two sections of the map (The lower and upper ground) are built for a specific breed of combat.

The top contains a good number of Battle Rifles, a few Carbines, a Sniper on one side of the map (Close to where it used to be), a Sword (Near the hole used to enter the underground from the top of the hill; near the old Flare spawn) and a Spartan Laser in the middle, which needs to be acquired by jumping into the middle of the two barriers protecting it. The top half of the map also features a Bubble Shield (near the sword), a Deployable Cover (near the sniper) and simulated mortars (Basically, Fusion coils that spawn inside both of the Grav Lifts and in the air near the sniper).

Below ground holds two shotguns, one for each team. In addition, there are also fast-respawning SMGs and Spikers in each team's base along with an Assault Rifle spawn and a Mauler. Outside the base where the Brute Shots used to spawn now holds fast-respawning pistols and Firebombs. I've placed a Power Drain in Blue team's base, a Regenerator in Red Team's base and a Grav Lift in the middle of the Underground for easy access to the surface.

Please know that this map is designed for two-team games ONLY. All of the spawns are located at either base, so FFA matches and Multi-Team matches will not work well. The map is mainly suited for traditional Team Slayer, but game modes like King of the Hill, Neutral Bomb/Flag or even Territories could work. I'm not sure about Infection because of the spawn points, but hey, it might work.

I spent several hours creating an airbase in zanzibar, tell me what you think, this is my baby,

It has several features, onboard vehicles, teleportation, secret compartments, an armory, and an escape cave with a mongoose. And there are several ways to infiltrate it for gametypes, I carefully designed it so you could enter through several points, the grav lifts were specially hard to do, I had to line up the rock with the bottom of the cradle while keeping the antennaes at perfect distance

There was also an unintended side effect not shown in the video, the zero-point warp, which basically randomly warps you into any of the flying rooms, due to the reciever nodes on the bottom

its extremely stable though, you cant just rocket it apart, it does stand up to repeated explosions (not tested with tank lol) But the grav hammer will rip it up pretty fast. Its actually pretty fun to give a couple people on the other team grav hammers and try to defend it, as the base deforms, certain parts usually end up freezing in different spots, and it adds a new dimention. The top crate uses the levels ceiling barrier mixed with the weight of the antennae to keep the rest weighted. (that damn ceiling barrier, took forever to get a perfect warp placement!)

This is the Cradle Zero on it's nuke variation!

Only shotties and mongooses - nothing else. I mean, nothing.
The game is oddball, 4 teams of 2, one driver, one carrier and three other teams that want to chase you down for the ball.

The map is designed with interesting 'events' or obstacles that will slow down, trap you or flip you upside down, to make sure the mongoose driving ball carrier doesn't last too long.

Yeehaws not required, but encouraged. ENJOY!

The New Vahalla is here
The map in more detail has a banshee and a hornet in the middle which a lot of the players on either team will be running for. In the open area where in the original Vahalla one can find the mongoose I added a little blockade where some will find cover to snipe. Its like a "mini base" with cover behind crates and barricades and plenty of deployable shields to help since the base is so open and there is a rocket launcher too and an extra sniper. on the opposite side where the downed pelican is is also a "mini base" but since it is a little more constricted with the pelican there one can find plenty of bubble shield,. there is also a laser, and an alien sniper to counteract the other mini base. And finally the structures that give this map its name are the multiple bridges found over the river so instead of jumping across from one side to the other u can simply walk.

Note makeshift bridges become unstable when fired @ with any kind of explosive

**My 2 newest ideas**


*****Big Bridge Like Halo 2 with all vehicles*****: A Long map that is pretty much the bridge from Halo 2 that you have to cross with either the tank or the warthog.

Team bases are on each side of the bridge, it arcs in the middle and lowers on each side, so you can't have a straight shot at one shot from the other side. One side has Covenant Vehicles, Ghosts, Choppers, 2 Wraiths, and two Banshees. The other side has Human Vehicles, Warthog, Gauss Warthog, Tanks, Mongeese, and two Hornets. The air vehicles are able to strafe the bridge and attack people on the bridge, but have to fire through the wires attaching the top and bottom of the bridge. The air vehicles can also attack each other, and there are missile pods, spartan lasers, rockets, and everything to take down the air vehicles from foot. Also, the Wraith would finally have an advantage over the scorpion, as it could lob plasma bombs over the hump in the middle of the bridge, where the scorpion couldn't hit anyone until they were in sight, which would most likely be once it got over the hump in the middle. You could have human passenger cars on the bridge that can be destroyed and have an explosive effect that can kill people if they are standing around the vehicles when they blow up. Players could also run up the support ropes that run along the side of them to a certain point, and start sniping from there, they just have to watch out for banshees and hornets up there.

There's a gun turret and maybe a new gauss turret (crosses fingers) guarding the human sided base, and plasma turrets covering the Covie Base. There are arms racks on the human side and a landed Pelican where you can grab weapons and ammo, and ammo boxes and a Phantom on the Covie side to do the same. Also, maybe instead of having new vehicles show up out of no where, they are brought in on another air ship. Also, you could add in the weather effects that we've mentioned in other posts. Have rain, or snow or Hail (I LOVE THE IDEA OF HAIL BOUNCING OFF OF EVERYTHING), lightning and thunder, or just regular old sunshine.

This game type could be amazing for capture the flag, Neutral assault, VIP, and it could probably also work for just a normal old team slayer for BTB or something.


*****Underground Mining/Excavating Fire Map*****: Ok, this one I'm thinking about something similar to the underground level on Gears of War mixed with the Dwarf City underground from LOTR Fellowship. You have some lava lakes/rivers/streams around you. It's a huge cavernous space with some stairs around the sides, and some tunnels around and under it. Also, I think there should be some buildings in it that whoever was doing work here before used. Have some pipes running through parts of the levels on walls or near buildings, and if you shoot them, you'll get a fantastic burst of flames. So time it and hit it while someone is standing near, and it'll set them on fire. There can be some buildings or rooms built into the walls of the cavernous space where the bases would be for each side, and it would be big enough to have a few smaller vehicles. No tanks, and no air vehicles. You could have all kinds of terrain changes, bridges and underpasses. Maybe even have some bridges be destructable where you can blow them up while people are crossing, and from then on, only certain vehicles can cross them by jumping.

This would be a great level to have a lot more fire grenades and maybe a couple of flame throwers. Also, have the ability to hit someone with a vehicle, and knock them into the lava lake for an instant kill (maybe even make a new death scream for being burned to death in a lake of lava). I think it'd be great to see what a flame grenade would do if you hit someone with it while they were driving by in a Hog or a Mongoose! Also, if you drive through one of the lava streams or rivers on a mongoose or Warthog, it would burn the tires off of it, and if your momentum doesn't carry your off of the lava, it will completely destroy the vehicle and you, and if your momentum does carry you off of the lava, the vehicle is still a dead duck, you can sit in it and fire from it, but with no wheels you can't drive that one anymore. ALSO, you can knock a vehicle into the Lava Lake with a grenade and kill everyone in it, this way people driving will really have to watch out where they are driving in this map.

the pit is right in the center of epitaph,
the respawns have been modified so you are never far from the pit
all grenades are present

its a simple idea, but its loads of chaotic fun.

This is Proving Ground

1000+ downloads!

Small to medium sized, symmetrical map designed for competitive play. This map is well suited for ALL game types: slayer, king of the hill, oddball, flag, assault, territories, everything! Closest thing in comparison map wise would be if Midship and Foundation got together and had a child, that child would be called Proving Ground! I have over 25 hours of work on this map and Twisted has about as many, not to mention my friends (pics below) have several hours of testing on ALL game types. Enjoy our hard work, we have!

Gulch Wars is a great remake of an old classic on Valhalla that can be played with any gametype. The map focuses heavily on vehicle use, but there is an extreme amount of anti-vehicle weapons to grab up if you are left out or just want to be on foot. There are 2 teleporters (1 in each base) that take you to the caves that are in the cliffs. In those caves there are an assortment if mid-long ranges weapons, a RL, and a Mongoose. In the open areas between the bases and the middle I made a sort on bunker out of 2 barricades and 1 large box in the middle. These mini-bunkers have a splazer and BR. Over by where the turret was I built a mini-base out of 4 large boxes and defended by a turret on each side and a RL. In the 2 bases there are all verities of weapons and many different vehicles. In the middle of the map I replaced the splazer with a ghost so one would still have a reason to go there.

The fallowing in a total amount of what is in the map:
