Viral Onslaught
This is a variant of the Infection game-type.

This level is a spin off of Invade4a from Quake 1 Team Fortress as well as "Behead The Undead" from Timesplitters Universe.
The Zombies (Attackers) start outside of the Defenders Home Zone. They use one of four teleporters (you have a choice of two when you spawn)
to enter the Defenders Home Zone. It's a survival game, and since it takes place on Construct, in a small room with no-where to run or hide, it's
pretty frantic with more than 6 people (I recommend 16... We had a blast)
You need to use the accompanying game-type that comes with it for things to work properly. I know there are some areas you can exit the arena at
but I'll leave it to players to use common-sense and follow the rules, since inevitably you can always find a way out if you look hard enough.

Vehicle Slayer on Sandtrap

Made for standard team slayer or btb.

Each side has a Scorpion, Hornet, two Banshees, Gaus Hog, and a Prowler.

Banshees, hog, and Prowler respawn near instantly, with 180 sec respawn on Hornets and Scorpions.
The only weapons on the map are rocket launchers near the vehicle spawns.

Teleporters, ghosts, and mongeese dot the map if you should find yourself away from the main vehicle spawns. Additionally, each Elephant has two turrets attached.

Alright I don't know if this one has been said before but:

Rugby
Assault on a symmetrical map
15min rounds (varied depending on what you want)
no disarming time, ball detonates upon being planted, plants instantly
300% speed for everyone
50% gravity
Starting weapon is gravity hammer
No weapons on map
Ball carrier traits:
300% speed
200% gravity
no health

This other one is one of my favorites:
HOGWARS
Preferably on Valhalla or Sandtrap
FREE FOR ALL
Each side starts with 2 warthogs and 3 mongeese (yes mongeese), a teleport which leads to middle of choas (kinda like halo 2's coag.) with a mongoose right near it.
instant vehicle respawn
No weapons on map
normal speed and gravity
primary weapon: Gravity Hammer, although set damage to 0%
Loads of fun, although set the number of kills to win relatively low because it will be awhile before the kills rack up.

Bungie, you have my back on the name of these maps, right? Just in case they ever become copyright material, you found it here first :) Anyways, I have 2 game types that work well together for Infection and 2 maps that go with them specifically. However, one game type can be used on any map and I think is rather fun.

Anyways, the first map is called 28 Years Later. It is a fun map on High Ground and is specifically made so that the zombies have a hard time getting into the base. One thing that makes it different from most Infection games is that there are way more zombies that humans. In fact, the number of Infected is set to about 7. However, I suggest that about 75% of playes should start as Infected. It worked well during play testing.

The forward bunker is blocked rather well but is not impossible to get into. It will just take some time while under a lot of fire. There is an extra turret on sniper tower that helps cover the gate and the cliff side (near the invisible power-up... which has been removed) so it makes a rip-saw with the main turret over the gate. There is another turret covering the double hallways coming from the bunker to the main base. On the roof over the main turret are all 4 types of grenades and a land mine. This is one of 2 places to pick up grenades if you start as a human. Last, if a human wants to put his/her life on the line, the flamethrower is up for grabs, but they have to go outside of the wall in order to grab it. It sits just out in front of the main gate.

The main pathway through the cliffs (where the sniper rifle normally sets) has been completely blocked off, causing the Infected to funnel right towards the base. Also, on the right of the main gate (while facing the base) I have stacked numerous crates of different sizes to severly slow down any attack from that side. However, they are movable, but the turret that is in the tower will help cover that area. Plus, the other threat is that if an Infected makes it near the wall they can still make it throught the pipes.

One of the biggest things (and by far the coolest) that you will see are a lot of fusion coils coming up to the base. They are placed on the base-side of numerous bunkers so that the defenders may use grenades and wepons to shoot them whenever infected zombies get close. They respawn often, and I even managed to get a few to actually roll down the hill constantly towards the beach so they may be shot while moving.

Here are a few pics of the map so you get a good idea of what it all looks like before you download it.

The second map and game variant are a nice change from regular Infection games. I call the game type Infection Hunt. This is an awesome game that pretty much puts 4 humans out to hunt down and kill the rest of the playes (the Infected) on any map. They are well equipped with sniper rifles and shotguns with infinite ammo, along with grenades. The beauty of it is, everyone only has one life. Therefore, they are truly hunting down the Infected players on the map. However, the Infected are slightly tougher (but don't have shields) and are slightly faster (110% speed). However, there is no radar for the humans other than friendlies. Plus, they can quickly go from hunters to hunted...

A REALLY cool map that I have also provides a different type of Infection Hunt called Breakout. Imagine a real-life movie with zombies - the only goal is to survive and ESCAPE. This takes place on Valhalla. The humans (only 4 again) can either work together or go FFA, but their goal is to make it from one end of Valhalla to the other where their Hornets are waiting for them. They only have 1 life and no respawns. Again, there is no radar, but there is limited ammunition for the humans. So, once they're out of ammo, they have to book it on foot. There are no vehicles either. The cool thing is that rounds only last for about 3-4 minutes. That's all the time they have to make it to their hornets. However, once they do make it to the hornets, hunting down those base-terd Infected will be easy because they can't touch you. And it really racks up your score for being the "best hunter" out of the 4 starting on your team.

Go ahead and enjoy them. Bungie, if you're watching/listening/taking over the world, etc... Try them out yourself. Especially the 28 Years Later and the game variant Infection Hunt. I know that 28 Days Later was a huge hit when we played in online (with strangers I didn't really know, but they loved it...) and I haven't really had time to try the Infection Hunt. Let me know what you think! Thanks and hopefully I have shown you something you haven't seen already.

Cat and Mouse
First of all I would like to make it clear that I am NOT claiming credit for creating either the Cat and Mouse gametype or the Litter Tray map.
Secondly,I do not have time to read every page in the topic, but I have gone through roughly half of them, and I haven't found Cat and Mouse.
I find this gametype extremely entertaining, and me and my friends often have big Cat and Mouse games.
There are two teams, one team are the cats, one team the mice. The team ratio needs to be about 1:4 or 1:5 (cats:mice).
The whole game is played on vehicles. The cats use choppers, and the mice are on mongeese (mongooses??). The object of the game is for the cats to splatter all of the mice, and for the mice it is to stay live.
Starting weapons are plasma pistols, shooting is only allowed for mice if their mongoose has toppled and they need to momentarily disable the choppers to get back on their mongoose. Only one life each.
Cats cannot start splattering mice until 1 minute has passed (5 minutes remaining announcement) and can only fire the weapons on the choppers at the mice once there is only 1 minute left in the round.
No beatdowns are allowed, neither is killing a cat purposely.
The game relies very much on honourable players who stick to the rules, but played with a group of friends this is rarely a problem.
Mice hiding in the tunnels is discouraged, although it is considered okay for mice to drive through the tunnels. This is because hiding can make it near impossible for the cats, whereas the tunnels can often provide a good escape option for the more maneuvarable mice.
Another discouraged thing is for the mice to drive around the outside of the map, always moving so that the mines do not hit them. This also makes it near impossible for cats, and can ruin a match for people.
For the first round of play, cats can be chosen at random, or people can volunteer, but after that it is the first people to die in the previous round.
e.g 6 people are playing, and player 3 dies first in the first round. Player 3 is now cat for the second round.
or 10 people are playing, and the first two players to die are players 4 and 7. Players 4 and 7 are now the cats for the next round.

Litter tray is a version of sandtrap designed for Cat and Mouse fun.

If cats land on their feet and toast lands butter-side-down, what happens if you strap a piece of toast to the back of a cat and drop it?

Triple Towers

This map has been engineered to work with almost all default gametypes. No extra download is required to play this map. You can feel free to customize your own gametypes, but this map is meant to stand alone.

Screens:
Triple Towers
Sniper Tower Spawn
Flag Spawn
Offensive Team Spawn

This map is essentially a reversal of Last Resort. Instead of having the offensive team spawn at the beach and charge towards the base, the offensive team spawns at the base with the defensive team holding the beach. In order to make it fair, three towers have been placed in the water. The towers are constructed of shipping containers and radio antennas. The left and right towers are close containers with a fast spawning BR on top. The tops of the towers are reached by a one-way teleporter at the tower's base.

The central tower uses a staircase made of crates to reach the top. A slow-spawning sniper is placed there along with another quick spawning BR. The flag spawns in the open portion of the central shipping container. A one-way teleporter at the central tower's base provides a means to capture the flag (or plant the bomb, or capture the territory).

The offensive team also has a sniper spawn (near lazer to guarantee they will get it) so they can counter the towers' suppresive fire. A gauss warthog also spawns at the base (offensive spawn).

The defensive team only has two mongooses at beach, their warthog was deleted to preserve balance.

The idea behind this map is one that works for almost all gametypes (VIP being the exception). Territories, CTF, assault, infection, and slayer all have been engineered to be playable and fun.

The coolest thing about this map, is that instead of having floating bases, the three towers are suspended by radio antennas. This means that a carefully plotting offensive team can knock down the towers with rockets, a warthog, or some well placed grenades. Don't worry, all objective games will not be hindered by the knocking down of the towers, although they do factory into gameplay.

Enjoy the map and I'd love some feedback!

Me + Sniper = Enemy / hot lead = Enemy - face

It's basic math

Alright I've got one I created in Halo 2 it's called Vehicle Carnage. On Halo 3 it's best played on Sandtrap or Valhalla and basically you set it to all dual weapons or better yet just assault rifles then litter the map with vehicles (probably don't want to do this with scorpions as they have a tendancy to dominate much like the hornets) I'd suggest putting mongoose, warthog (both types), prowler, wraith, ghost, and then if you want a little more variety in your vehicles throw in some banshees and choppers but be careful how many of those you put compared to other vehicles as they can also kinda have the tendancy to completely control the battlefield if there are two or three of them. You also might want to put spawn points only beside places that vehicles spawn so random pedestrians aren't running all the way across sandtrap trying to make it to a vehicle. Another thing that you can add to make vehicle carnage even better (this is good if you don't have many people playing on these big maps) is to put random fusion coils laying around on the ground so when a warthog isn't paying attention BOOM....they die : ) one last thing you should put the respawn on all vehicles except choppers and banshees down to 10 seconds.

Pit o' Death

It is a good map and screen shots are coming as soon as I get on my x-box. I added Grav-Lifts to get into the rooms that you can only spawn in, there is a sniper and a BR in each . There are four different places that you can get different kinds of weapons. There is a Human Station (Shotgun, Trip Mine, BR, Frag Grenades), a Covie Station (Energy Sword, Dual Plasma Rifles, Power Drain, Plasma Grenades), Brute Station (Grav Hammer, Brute Shot, Portable Grav-Lift, Spike Grenades), and a Fire Station (Flamethrower, Incinerary Grenades, Bubble Shield). On one of the sniper tower I put a Fuel Rod Cannon with a Deployable Cover and a Beam Rifle underneath. On the other sniper tower there is a Rocket Launcher and another Deployable Cover with a Sniper Rifle underneath. Where the Rockets usually spawn there is a Splaser with littered fusion cores. Overshield and Invisiblity are replaced with flares and the power drain is replaced with a radar jammer. My friends love this map so I thought I would put it on b.net. Hope you like it. Comments and Ratings are gladly accepted.

Map Name-June 6,1944

Game type-D-Day(Will be on file Share around 6pm EST)

Description
Do you like Saving Private Ryan?Relive it in the 2552 special edition!Breach the sea wall defences and destroy the -blam!- outpost
This Map is made for assault varients and I will upload the tailored varient at 6pm EST.THis map was made with Saving Private Ryan in mind of course and there are plenty of obstacles on the beach such as Fusion coils(they spawn in midair),propane tanks are flying randomly as a result of the fusuion coils exploding,as well as flying Hogs and mongooses.Occasionaly they will not be destroyed but it will be suicide to try and retreive them. There are 4 turrets set up.There are 3 on the sea wall and one on the bottom that blocks the bottom exit of the beach. One is quickly accessed by teleporter

There are Weapons all across the beach that consist of assualt rifles, battle rifles and SMGs.There are sniper rifles and rockets in the ocean behind the Crates. There are incendiary bombs in the open containers which constantly respawn. There is a armory within the sea wall for the defenders which consists of assualt rifles, battle rifles,SMGs,Spikers, and one Sniper rifle. The 2nd siper rifle is based on luck because you must spawn next to it. You should have no shields or atleast weak shields to make the Beach seem less impossible to escape.

This is a map and its gametype that I made foor Valhalla Territories. I have a free territories game (no offense/defense) set up on a map with teleporters to sniping spots, falling explosives, and limited ammo. Strategically work the battlefield and fight for the 8 territories. The name of the map and game come from Latin, literally translated as "They Seize the Fortress" on "The Great War." (from moenia occupant on magnum bellum). Enjoy

_-*Zombies*-_

Hello I thought I'd try to make one my own close to Classic Zombies to appease the Bungie users. It is slightly modified though but hopefully for the better. It would be great if I can get help testing this and see what does and doesn't work.

I built this in hope it would better fit your Zombie needs because I remember playing Zombies on Halo 2 so many times having such a blast I thought I'd try to help out the community a bit with this.

I hope you all like it and feedback is appreciated. I'm open to suggestions and/or comments!

You can download the Variant and Map-Type here if you like.

Zombie Infestation - Stand Off Stage 1
The map is titled "Stand-off 1" And must be accompanied by the "Behead The Undead" game-type for things to work as intended...

In short, there are three teleporters linking the Zombie's to the Human's base. They are connected to the Human's base at 3 different locations,
so players will have to be on their guard the whole time. Simply put, Zombie's teleport in and players must defend off wave-after-wave of Zombie
Infestation Madness. The Defenders have no-where to run, no-where to hide, but move slightly faster than the Zombie's.

Zombies carry only a sword, while Human's carry a shotgun and pistol.
Two players begin the round as Zombie's. This is the evolved version of Viral Onslaught, but instead is on High Ground, rather than Construct.
In the future there will be more versions available for different maps... Try it out, and send feedback to myself, and please leave comments and
thoughtful ratings. Thanks =)

The gametype is Sticky Supreme. It is a variation of slayer that only lets you earn points by sticking someone. This will for sure improve your sticky skills and you will have an amazing time too. The map that this gametype is played on is Sticky Arena, a map variant of Guardian.

Players spawn right on the outskirts of the center circle of Guardian and start with plasmas. The middle is also littered with plasma grenades and spike grenades so you will never run out of stickies to toss. There is also a bubble shield placed in the middle of the center circle. It is tempting to grab so u have some protection, however, running through the middle with grenades flying everywhere may not be the most auspicious choice.

map here gametype link inside map link enjoy!

First of all this idea came to me from numerous ideas. First is dodge pro mod for various pc games which challenge players to use movement and strategy to overcome obstacle courses. Next is watching Acehawk's super mario and playin some of his awesome maps. Lastly is viewing the jaggedshrapnel and captain "Shraptain" MM and MLG gameplay changing movie, which basically game me a final spark to make this map.

This map is in a beta stage as well as the idea. I threw this map together in about 3 hours and I'm pretty impressed. There are some hard jumps and easy jumps and one really hard jump(goal 7). I have yet to make it but its possible because I've seen it done. Also jumps in this map were not created by me and I take no credit for them.

I am basically trying to create a series of tough maps to educate and entertain players. I take into consideration the different skill levels and I hope that this map will make newer players realize the different things that could be done rather than just the normal way. for example the lockout center to sniper tower shortcut. Really easy jump but not for new players to halo 2 :p.

Please Download and comment on my map, give me pointers and ideas.

I also guarantee a good time trying to complete this map, good luck!!!

Another thing I forgot to mention. This map is single player only, for obvious reasons when you play it. Its a map that will require players to use their minds, and coordination to succeed. The first jump isn't really that difficult just takes a couple tries to understand the problem. Jumps are pretty straight forward if you analyze the situations before attempting. I challenge players to try and beat it without dying and make a film and upload it to this thread. Prove you have the skills to beat my map :P.

Also the first jump can be done another way without grenades. jagged shrapnel created it, but I added the nades because the jump without them its very hard, I couldn't do it.

You can't kill the Metal

This is Defender. It's a capture the flag game on Last Resort that has the beach as the flag postion and the defenders with alot of ammo to hold off the offense. If you do manage to get to the flag your speed increases. This game is more for the defensive minded person.

This would be Thermoplyae, a High Ground edit to suit the Infection gametypes. The base has been fortified a bit to help block off the zombies (but they can still get in). Ammonition is slightly limited (weapons don't respawn), and the weapons are UNSC based. (There could be a few "special" weapons here and there...)

But yeah, it's all about working as a team, as it usually is for Infection. Hold your ground and don't become a zombie. Simple as that.

I have come up with some ideas for Bungie to do for other holidays like they did for Halloween. Thanksgiving a game varient of Hide and Seek one team starts as "Turkeys" or Spartans with all Brown Armour and maybe new Head Armour with Like a Goobler and invisible, one person starts as a Pilgrim in Black and white and maybe a Head Armour Pointed Hat and a shotgun. St. Patricks Day game varient of one sided Capture the Flag, The Flag is a pot of gold and one team is Leprechauns green and fast. Christmas a varient of juggernaut where the juggernaut is Santa red and white armour with Santa Hat Armour maybe and everyone else is Raindeers with maybe Head Armour Helmets with Antlers and brown armour. Fourth of July a varient of One bomb were the bomb is a firework and explodes at the end and flamethrowers for lighting everything up. Those are some of my ideas and hopefully you will consider it for the holidays.
