Let's make XBox live a quality game playing atmosphere.

Tower of Power using the tallest structure on Sandtrap

This is a game variant to use with my Tower of Power map variant I made with the help of Radon5588. The goal is the get to the top of the tower. The first team to 250 wins. Access to the top of the tower is by the teleporter within the tower at ground level. This is played like Tower of Power was on Acension in Halo 2 online multi-player.

Changes to Game:
Score to win: 250
Team Slayer Format- Ideal for 8-16 players (2 teams)
Primary Weapon- Shotgun, Secondary- Gravity Hammer
Vehicles- Mongooses/ No using the Elephant unless agreed upon
Weapons on map- Shotguns only
Grenades on map- Map Default/ Firebomb Grenades on top of tower
Respawn Time- 5 Sec., Suicide Penalty- 5 Sec., Betrayal Penalty 5 Sec.

Subject: Oh Yes Do I Have a Game and Map variants for ALL to Enjoy!

Well my game variant is infection. One day I was playing with 16 people and I was leader. They were getting bored and I said "Hey why don't I tweak with the infection setting and see what we get?" Well what we got was chaos. One zombie starts out with 2x overshield, 300% speed, 50% gravity, a gravity hammer and a sword. The infected have the same traits except they have no shield God help us. This game type is truly meant for my map, but it may be played on any Sandtrap or Valhalla variant. NO SMALL MAPS. Trust me we've tried now you don't have to. In my map you start out next to some vehicles and what you want to do is put the petal to the metal and get outta there. The Alpha Zombie spawns on the other side of the map but gets to the spawn in about 3-5 seconds depending on his stradegy. It's funny to see warthogs and mongooses flying across the map while playing my game. The panicking and screaming of players not wanting to be infected. It's great. Meant for (8-16) people. Map Elephant Flying
Description my friend and I decided to see if the elephant could be blown up. We piled loads of fusion coils into it and set them off, what we got was spectacular, the elephant was launched across the map. It is best used with team slayer or slayer. There is a banshee and hornet for great views and you should try to "drive it" you also get an interesting message when it gets flipped over. thanks enjoy

Subject: Vahlalla fixed

Map-M30

Its a redesign of valhalla to compensate for the issues I, and many others I know, have been having with the default map present in BTB or Social slayer gametypes. Terrain advantages seem to have never been really considered by bungie, leading to some pretty poor gameplay as either one team holds the center hill (the one you man cannon to that has the laser) or banshee hording. The first issue occurs as, the center hill is easily accessible for both teams, thus allowing a constant stream of targets and reinforcements for the controling team. Secondly, there is a SIGNIFICANT height advantage, especially for the team with the waterfall base as not only can you always just back up to get into cover, but grenades are nearly useless for the attacking team. It also doesn't help that there is a forementioned laser right there. You can control the ENTIRE map from that one spot.
Now, with this map the vehicle balance has been changed, though the actual vehicle number has remained the same. Banshees, given valhallas unique terrain, have TOO much of an advantage with their independance of that terrain. It can just duck behind one of seemingly hundreds of rock faces or trees, or even the bases and it can avoid pretty much anything you throw at it, only to re-emerge to wreak unrestricted havoc on the infantry. Sure theres a missle pod for each base, and the laser, but when the banshee is on the team controling the hill, then those missle pods make the users VERY vulnerable to all sorts of infantry weapons. So, the banshee will always reside for the controling team, leaving the other team with very few viable means of coming back.
So, this map has sought to remedy the staunch advantages that can be gained from merely controling the middle. The weapons have been restructured, somewhat, concentrated around the bases, allowing for better defense of them from spawn campers on the ridge, though not necessarily from full frontal assaults that would be present in CTF or Assault gametypes. Vehicles are all terrestrial, and also structured such that to be truly effective, each ones limitations need to be compensated for by the other vehicles. I would get into this, but I will just let you play it, if you guys want a map that compensates for inbalances with default map settings that seem to not be geared for Slayer, but territories.
This is just a revisement of valhalla, nothing more nothing less. I am still revising it, however, so if I change it significantly enough I will post a new link. Dont expect flying elephants, its just valhalla. Also, gametype does not matter that much for this map. Just use anything that you would use on valhalla, except race, I have not Incroperated that into the map yet.

Ok I have a few Map Variants up on my file share. Got kind of addicted to the Forge. THx Dracula1423
They are all located here

#1 Teleport Narrows,

This is all about droppin in on your enemy. There is a 2-way teleport at the end of each map in the opposing forces base. This keeps the other team from camping in their base. There are also teleport senders at the end of the manlifts. Theses are set at the same freq as the 2-ways so were you end up is anyones guess.

As for weapons they are plenty. Plasma cannons, Machine gun cannons, Energy swords, trip mines that work great on the teleporters. Its a fast paced map stick together as a team and you should be ok.

#2 Last Alpha Zombie (best played on demolition guard)

The Alpha Zombie is granted a gravity hammer and an energy sword. All other zombies get just the energy sword.
Last man standing gets a beef up of armor to 150% . Lost of other options but can't remember all what they are.
Points are set up 2 points for a kill and 1 point for an assist
3 sec respawn
10 sec suicide
15 sec betrayel

#3 PIT CTF

Its all about finding the teleporters to get to the opposing teams flag. Flags are located up in the high spot you need to either find one of the 2 teleporters or use the gravity lift to get to it. The flag return spot has also been moved so you will need to find that as well. If you capture and rtn the flag you should complete a full lap around the map.

Weapons on map include. Spartan Laser (hidden) Gravity hammer and Energy sword are both located out in the open in the middle of a crossfire point so get at your own risk. Grenades are hidden up on a ledge as well as spaced out. Machine gun turrets shotguns, smgs, spikers and everything else you have come to expect in a game.

#4 Demolition (on construct) (good for Slayer and CTF)

This is a fun map. Lost of goodies.

First off one team has the pleasure of possibly spawning into the blast zone. This is an area with lots of plasma batteries, fusion coils and plasma coils.
Evenly setup for defense and offense There is a hidden teleport on this level that will take you to a sniper spot with plenty of grenades access to the only energy sword and also to a rocket launcher, do not worry there is also a sniper rifle up there as well.

For CTF you will have to find the flags and the flag return spots since they are spread out. Hopefully this will keep ppl from camping.
lots of weapons on the map and most importantly do not get caught in the middle of the landing with all of the batteries and coils.

#5 Demolition Guard. (Perfect for Last ALpha Zombie slayer or ctf)

The center of the map is a danger zone ready to go up in a Huge explosion so do not get caught in the middle. Although there are a lot of weapons located there. Also the middle is surrounded by Plasma Cannons and Machine Gun Turrets.
There is a hidden teleport that will take you to 1 of 2 sniper spots.
Lots of goodies and a faced paced map

#6 Battlefield. Variant of Sandtrap (good for slayer or CTF)

Teams are set up on opposite sides of the map.
Defenders get a Hornet, 2 Choppers and a Warthog
Attackers get 2 Banshes and 2 Ghosts.
There are 2 scorpions located half way on the maps
Another Hornet located out of bounds by a teleport Receiver
2 Teleport Senders that will send you out of bounds by the Hornot so you will have to be fast and lucky otherwise the grenades will get you.
2 Hidden 2-way teleporters that will send you to a sniper spot (1 on each side of the map)
Other hidden weapons as well as lots of grenades, weapons and active camo on the map for your indulgence.
There are 2 Death traps lined with Plasma Batteries and Fusion Coils

This game is called Airial Assault

In halo 3 a freind of mine made a map where there is a platform hundreds of feet in the sky. Ur objective is to take down the base and the person with in. U will be given ur choice of a missle pod/ rocket launcher or sparten laser. The game time is short and the platform is big so u have to work quick. the person within the sky base has double over shield so he will only die with the plat from gone.


If anyone wants to try it out send a freind request to Death Hunter 71 and bring at least 6 people for the game!

I'm trying to create a zombie custom gametype and a map that goes with it. Does anyone know why that If I put the brute shot as a primary weapon and the sword as secondary for the zombies, they only wear swords even if I put the brute shot as their only weapon? And there should be an option to make impossible for the humans to take zombie weapons.


by the way, can somebody try my desert curse map on my file share? It's my first one and I'd like to know if it's good or has some potential. To get some additionnal info(what did I changed from the original map, which isn't much but really changes how it plays), check my thread(I also have a gameplay question)

More close range battle oriented map, rockets have been removed to even out the playing field, now features lots of places to take cover and re-arm, door ways should now spice things up a little more ;)
Weapons: basically symmetrical in weapon and equipment placement, few weapons are hidden to be found to only the most savy players
(probably my fav map iv ever created)

Man's Last Stand Map Variant (current version 1.00)
Man's Last Stand Gametype (current version 1.00)

Recommended number of players: between 5 and ? (never tried with more than 8)

This is an infection variant of Isolation meant to be fought underground in the bunkers. The humans are on the defensive and spawn in one bunker while the zombies spawn on the other. The humans have a limited amount of ammo and must stay alive as long as possible with the zombies assaulting them.

The zombie spawn has 4 exits to their base that correspond to the 4 entrances in the human's base.
Right side to right side
Left side to left side
There are three teleporters in the back exit on the zombie side - the two accessible by walking and the one reachable with a short jump.
The two that you can walk through lead to the back entrance while the third (one required to jump to get to) leads to the drop-in entrance on the human side.

There also exists a set of power cores that respawn every 2 minutes and are the rough equivalent to a free kill. Use it wisely after the first use, it can be used to wipe out a zombie rush in a single hit.

The alpha zombie has non-regenerating shields and partial invisibility while the rest do not but the shields will slowly deplete after 15 seconds of inactivity (this is to promote rushing). All zombies have swords while humans have shotguns and magnums. All weapon pickup is disabled.

Scoring is as follows:
1 point for killing a zombie
2 points for killing a human
2 points for last man standing
-1 for suicide
-2 for betrayal.

Known issues:
Alpha zombie begins to lose shields immediately for the first life.
It is not impossible to escape the bunkers (although replays of escape are appreciated)
Betrayal is set to -2 because the humans can simply kill each other for ammo.
-There is a -10 respawn modifier for betrayal and betrayal booting turned on.
-Suggestions are welcome although don't suggest turning friendly fire off. (othewise the humans can use the power cores to escape quite easily)

For your morbid and masochistic side, I bring you Suicide Watch. This "hijinks" Infection game variant is for use with the One Way Out... map variant.

In Suicide Watch, the Pyschiatric Patients (human side; purple) must reach the medical carts which hold the pills (grenades) and end their own life. In order to do this, however, they must slip past the Orderlies (zombie side; white) who have to stop them. Patients have no defense against the Orderlies, however, they can run slightly faster. Points are only awarded for suicides. Infected are chosen by the Chump method (the first to be infected in the last round).

Enjoy. I laughed so hard the first time I saw a bunch of guys in white chasing a purple guy across the map only to watch him reach the medical cart and burst into flames from his incendiary grenade.

Battle Bridge

Narrows with a twist, a turn, and a lot of fast paced frantic action. Boasts many weapons, and 2 home brewed Man Cannons, complete with Fusion Coil Artillery, and yes it works, and it's fun to watch. This map works for anyone who likes any type of gameplay, save for vehicles. I tried to get mongeese and ghosts worked in, didn't work. sorry :(

recommended players 6+, 2 teams.



Wasteland

The ultimate Infection map. works with all variations of infection... unless you've got crazy fast zombies. Survivors start out in the landed human thing, Zombies in one of the ruins. survivors are forced to run and gun to survive as their starting position is not fortified. there are scattered weapon cache's around and one heavily fortified base. Assuming you can make it there. And no, there are no vehicles on the map. not even hidden ones.

Coagulation
This is a remake of Coagulation. Whether its for having fun or playing with a big party, this map is great. This map variant is by far my best one. Not only does it include all the necessities of a map remake like weapon, vehicle, grenade, and power up spawns, but this time the map includes cover and geometry in places there were on coag. For example, there is a multitude of Cover in the big area near mongoose spawn (of course mongoose is taken out of the map), where the Coag Rocks and Overshield used to be. Now there is cover from all angles there. Another example is at each base. You know how their used to be a ramp in Coag from top Base to the Warthog spawn? - thats there too.

Lockout
A remake of Lockout, for those who loved it like i did. this map is does not include any new weapons, and has all the weapon and grenade spawns matched to the original lockout as close as possible. It also includes physical objects for cover that where in the old Lockout (for instance, cover on elbow from top mid, and cover under top mid). Since blue and green room are so close to BR tower now, and therefor BR tower has better cover, the Sword Now spawns in the jungle area close to the elbow (long ramp jetting out from snipe tower), but Shotgun still spawns in Green Room.

Zanzibar
So I got some great feedback and over 300 downloads on my Lockout remake, and i was asked to make one in the same fashion for Zanzibar. Well, here it is! This map is as close as you can get to Zanzibar, down to grenade and weapon spawn points, new areas blocked off, no new weapons found on the map, respawn times and everything. I tried it out with a bunch of my friends and they really liked it.

Lego Arena

Swat Lego Arena is my map constructed on Last Resort.
a Maze type scenario full of lego looking pieces makes the game fun and confusing at the same time. It will bring back those good old days when we used to play with Lego and MegaBlocks!

ive notioused that the problem with gametypes with there own maps are good but tend to get dull. yes the zombie maps are a little better but rember halo 2. u could play zombies on any map and it added a new swing and u could have a zombies group for ever just switching the maps. so i have been working on games that have play on any map and can be loads of fun for hours and are not slective to one map. with help from some people on xbox live and my friends ive designed some really cool games and will post them all on here in the next few days. if you want them sooner just send me a text message through live and ill reccomend what is complete. ill b on to put them on my file share soon.

Fort Assault

Fortress Map

I've created a variant of the High Ground map. This map is meant to be played in one sided assault, and I have created a game variant for this map entitled Fort Assault.

The Attackers spawn in the beach area. The objective for the Attackers will be to assault the heavily fortified Defenders. Going up the middle of the map will be certain suicide as it is being bombarded with artillery (falling fusion cores), and the Defenders will have a clear line of sight to rip stuff apart with turrets. The Attackers will have to come up with a tactical and coherent effort to successfully infiltrate the base with minimum casualties. Along the side routes of the map they will find close range weapons and equipment that they will need to carry out this attack. There are a couple of side entrances into the fortress, but they have been barricaded. However, some explosives can open up a path inside.

Defenders spawn inside of the base. They also have access to various weaponry throughout the base. They have a Mongoose, a Warthog, and a Scorpion. The disadvantage of the vehicles is that for the Defenders to utilize them, they will have to open the main gate which will allow a quick route in for the Attackers. It will also be easier on the Attackers if they can manage to get to the gate controls themselves. Best played with 8-16 players. Have fun!

Game variant: Team Paintball
Paintball, not really paint, but plasma. You start off with only a plasma pistol, you don't have shields, you don't have grenades nor can you get any. One hit kills, 1 life, 5 rounds, or more if you prefer. There is cover though, so you don't have to worry too much. Best with at least 4 players per team. Oh, and please don't use beat downs, it ruins the game.

Maps: Zanzi paintball
You have access to just the beach, so you don't have to wait long till the action starts. There are only a few plasma pistols and one plasma rifle you can pick up, so get it while you can, or take it from your fallen comrades. Cover is everywhere like in real paintball, so use it. Not much else to say except it's small and fast paced.

Pit Paintball
Not as small as the first map, less cover too, but there was cover to begin with. Still only a few plasma pistols, but there are just as many plasma rifles this time. You have access to all parts of the map too... hint hint.

If anyone has paintball-like maps or decides to make their own, let me know. I'd like to see it.

Gameplay
Meat Grinder takes place in the bases and central cave of Snowbound. as such, it is VERY close quarters. Both teams have a wide variety of weapons to choose from, and each base has three shotguns to minimise shield/door camping. There are two ways out, but if you screw up, you'll simply be accelerating your own death. Respawn time reduced to three seconds to get into the carnage faster. First team to 75 points wins.
