Bullet Valley

One Flag CTF on Vahalla. Only uses one half of the map (lightly blocked, out of bounds zones) the defence side starts with four machine gun turents, Overshield power ups, rockets etc. The attackers start with power ups, tons of equipment(grave lifts, etc), warthog, ghost, and a hidden roller. The catch is thet the flag is sitting on a sky tower directly above the turrents. Lots of explosions(fusion crates scattered all over). Have fun creating plans and tatics to win the game you will need it. No game varient needed, just one flag ctf.

Crashed in a long deserted valley, make your way to the pelican crash sight, arm up, and fight the Alpha with your weaponry. But beware; the Alpha zombie guards the crash sight and will not let you kill him easily. The final gametype to the first half of the map series!

In my mind, Valhalla always had the potential to be a great snipers map, which it is, but I realized that the rock ledges can turn this into the ultimate snipers dreamland.

"Tower of Power" on Stronghold

A classic Halo 2 gametype where each team struggles to take control of the turret at the top of the "tower". The turret is vital to success because shields have been taken away and its range is surprisingly wide. Also the radar has been taken off, players are a tad faster and a bit heavier, and the weapon of choice is the shotgun. On Stronghold the big base of Last Resort has been narrowed down and filled with hiding spots to ensure close combat and most of the entrances have been blocked except two. The gameplay feels very much like this gametype on Ascension but obviously different. Any number of players (even 2 vs 2) is fun on this map and any number of teams works aswel.

Map Variant: Halo 2 Zanzibar recreated on Last Resort

Essentially it's what you played for 3 years in Halo 2, right in Halo 3. Ghost has been added to the base + a Guass Hog in its original spot, switched around + removed alot of weapons, active camo in its right spot, sword in its right spot, removed Mongooses, and blocked off areas that were not in Halo 2 Zanzibar that are in Last Resort (trying to make it as close to Zanzibar as I can :P)

Map:Under Bridge
Gametype:Shenanigans!

This is a map I made on Narrows. The underside of the bridge has been contained so that it is the only accessible part. It's very close quarters and VERY fast and furious. The more people, the better.

This gametype also uses a type of scoring where beatdowns, assassinations, grenade sticks, sprees, and assists give you extra points. Therefore, this game is played to 250. The intensity of the map makes the game go by in the standard amount of time it takes to play a normal slayer game: about 8 minutes.

Desolent Dunes


The Dunes are traps waiting to be unlocked. Download it and unlock the wonders. There are frequent bombings occuring. And a mysterious sky fort waiting to be explored. And not only that but a "grill' is in the middle with fire bombs. Throw one down and roast those in the secret room thats host to many treasures. And for capture the flag games, there is a keep surrounding the flag with a turrent. So download and have fun!

Best with Team Slayer or Oddball.

Against Time
King of the Hill Variant.
Guardian Map Variant.

Game Variations:
- Whilst in the hill, one point is lost every second.
- Every kill gains you ten points
- 3 Minutes per round, 2 rounds, 3 minutes each.
- Everyone has a waypoint indicator set
- Grenades respawn

Basically, while you are in the hill, you lose points. So, the point of the game is to keep your point loss at the lowest, by killing people of another team. The map variant ensures you are always in the hill, so "staying out" of the hill and thus avoiding point loss is not an option. A waypoint is shown on everyone, visible to everyone, so that players cannot hide if they are in the lead. It's a brawl. At the end of 6 minutes (2 rounds) the team with the most amount of points wins.

Map Variations:
- Hill is the largest possible, and surrounds the entire map.
- Power weapons are in the middle (including the sword, rockets, spartan laser, sniper, etc).
- Equipment is also in the middle.
- Maulers are in every room.
- Battle rifles and carbines are scattered throughout.
- Every weapon has a 10 second respawn.

This map was created with the idea in mind that people should be dying often, and thus power weapons are freely available to everyone, and also equipment. The hill encapsulates the entire level.

This game and maptype are ideal for 8-16 people, with teams of 2-3.

i know i shouldnt be doing this on this topic but anyway, he needs to know. When you have created your gametypes settings, when your still in the screen for changing gametype settings, hit X, and then you save it as whatever.

I made a sweet alpha zombies game and map variant. Sand Zombies is the name of the game and map. The map is on Sandtrap. The objective of the game for the humans is to stay alive. You can chose you path either to drive or to take refuge in the towers and snipe your way to survival. But there are multiple ways for the zombies to get on to the towers. Humans have normal traits. Zombies have 300% damage and speed and 50% gravity. They have swords and hammers. But they should wait until everyone gets into a vehicle and has a head start on driving or is in a tower.

Also check out my normal zombies game variant too. (Zombies!!!) everything is on my file share.

Team BR Snipers

This gametype combines the fast-paced action of Team SWAT with the long range combat of Team Snipers. Players start out with Battle Rifles and Sniper Rifles. Normal players have no shields, and 150% damage resistance (So the two body shot kill with the Sniper Rifle is preserved). However the leader has full shields, 300% damage resistance, motion tracker, but moves slower, jumps lower, and has a waypoint above his/her head that is visible to everyone. One point bonuses are enabled for headshots, assassinations, and sprees. There is a five point bonus for killing the leader. Recomended for 8-12 players.

More information in the thread. No custom maps are really neccessary, but I recommend Guardian, Valhalla, Sandtrap, and High Ground.

Introducing the Guardians Gametype:

- Based off Infection
- Guardians are invisible with 200% strength.
- Guardians are super weak and die easily... IF YOU CAN FIND THEM!!!
- Plays Great on almost every map.
- Guardians cant ride Vehicles.
- Guardians run at 110% speed.
- Guardians have 10 Meter radar.
- Humans are just that, human... No modifiers whatsoever, except for the fact that you start with an SMG (Halo2 w00t!) and laser as your backup.
- Alpha Guardian has a shotty... so he's dangerous.
- Last Man Standing has similar traits to the Alpha, but is not invisible.
- Shield Leeching for alpha guardian/last human.

ermm when are bungie going to include a custom match finder, whats the point of creating maps if all you do i wander around them on your own cos you dont have 16 friends online at the same time, it also means wouldnt have to buy DLC as this would keep me busy for years, without a custom match finder forge is an empty gesture from bungie.

they did it in far cry on the xbox 1 for christ sake.

"A game variant of Infection for the DOOM Tribute maps, Sunday October 21, 2007 15:40:20"

All zombies spawn with 3x overshield which drains over time. All zombies leach 100% damage. All zombies start with swords and move at 150% speed. Alpha zombie deals 100% damage, normal zombies deal 50% damage. Zombies cannot pick up weapons, zombies cannot use vehicles/turrets, alpha zombie is decided by which human player has the most kills in that round.
Humans spawn with ARs, humans can pick up weapons, humans have grenades, humans deal 100% damage and last man standing deals 200% damage. Humans have 1x shield with recharge and 100% damage dealt.

Make sure to use this with the corresponding maps.

I can't describe to you how much fun this is when using the DOOM Infection gametype. It really is beyond words. Any previous infection maps you have played are nothing, and I mean NOTHING, compared to this! Get ready for the most fun you'll ever have playing infection! If anything, its worth a shot trying this map with the gametype. And remember, the more the merrier!

How to play:
Firstly, download and use the DOOM Infection gametype, it will seem strange at first as its nothing like other Infection games... But it was designed specifically for the DOOM tribute maps, and plays perfectly on them. Their is no point in playing these maps if your not using the right gametypes.
Infection:
Zombies spawn in the "infected" area of the map, where the Flood gunk is or in other words underground.
Humans spawn in one of four "bases" spaced around the map. Each base is defendable, but the higher the ground the better.
At your base you should pick up what weapons you desire (if your new to the map make sure to look around, their placed all over) and then either get into one of the trees and hold your position there, get ontop of one of the pillars at the East/West bases, take turrets and hold the windowed underground areas, get behind a barricade and shotgun away, keep moving and keep killing, or stand next to one of the grenade spawns and hurl your enemies to death!
These are just ideas based on how people have been playing, feel free to not follow them in the least.

As stated in the title, this map is a tribute to the classic FPS DOOM.

The zombies are not zombies but rather (pink) aliens who want to make sweet, sweet Blam! to you, initially via injection of strawberry-flavored crystal meth from their "Poo-Rays" (or, "Needler"). This is in order to reduce your "No-Meter" (shield) to zero, thereby attaining your consent (killing you) and making you a "Poo-Fairy".

Poo-Fairies can only drive Poo-Fairy vehicles (which are the covenant vehicles) such as the Rump-Rider (ghost) and Diarhea Cannon (Wraith) and cannot use the human turret, while Humans can only drive human vehicles and use the human turret. (Vehicle usage is honor-based, party leaders: dont hesitate to boot rule-breakers)

I've been playing it for months, and it's not just a funny idea; IT'S FUN!!!

NOTE TO POMPOUS JERKS: It's not JUST immature, it's a parody of homophobia in modern culture.

SLAUGHTER HOUSE - 16 Player Free for All (on Valhalla)

It's been play tested a little, and it's pretty damn fun, especially with lots of people (6-16).

Here is a short synopsis:

NOTE: This map is supposed to be played with a full party (16 people) on the Slaughter House gamevariant. Also check the Detailed Discussion on 16 Player Free for All thread to give suggestions on how to improve Slaughter House.

Spawn points are anywhere but out in the open.
You start with a Battle Rifle and no grenades.
Player movement and damage resistance are both 110% (slightly higher than normal).
You will always start out near some kind of cover, with some kind of second weapon nearby (usually Assault Rifle), and maybe a vehicle too (usually Mongoose).
Each of the bases has a Mongoose, a Chopper, a Wraith, a shotgun, a rocket launcher, two Spikers and two SMGs, and two Assault Rifles.
In the middle of the map is a Spartan Laser, a Sniper Rifle, a Beam Rifle, and two Ghosts.
Other vehicles include two Banshees.
Equipment is carefully placed around the map, as are powerups (two overshields and two active camos), grenade spawns (because you don't start with any), fusion coils (to counter the vehicles and campers), and crates (both big and small) for some extra cover.

Look for more variants of this to come!

EDIT: I recently changed it so that you start with nades, but that will only be the case on the larger levels (Sandtrap, Valhalla, Last Resort).

Ive got two forge map variants of valhalla. one is called Valhoggyhell, the other is called Valhornet hell. teleporters, and bunkers abound for a halo 2 and 3 variant of a game we used to play on coagulation called total war. In total war for halo 3 weapons, all the power weapons and vehicles spawnI, in the Halo 2 version for halo 3, warthogs, ghosts and Banshees spawn, creative teleportation brings snipers to remote locations , as well as a free "YOUR DEAD" escape teleporter in the middle of the field which WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE...these are best played with 16 players. As a side note, I also use the hoggy hell map for Warthog wars, but the vehicles are too tuff, cant make them weak like in Halo 2...i have given the drivers no shields on my variant, still doesnt behave like halo 2..but a funny thing happened... a grenades game spun out of that Warthog wars game(because I added grenades of ALL types all over the map, which is really kind of fun (Im not talking about dodgeball grenades..which is a lot of fun too)..Enjoy , tweak ,take a look BUNGIE... I may update her based on some game play experience that has made me rethink how to tweak some elements.
