I had an idea for a baseball variant. Every one starts with a Grav Hammer and the pitcher would throw plasmas over to the right or left of the person depending on how they stand and they'd try and hit it. The plasmas don't really go far, so I guess it'd either have to be a one base per hit thing or just come up with some other system for the base running. Grenade regeneration would be on, so the basemen would have to throw their plasma grenades to each other and the other person would have to try and get stuck, which would be like catching the ball; invulnrability would be on, so they wouldn't die. The scoring system would be set up as a VIP escort type thing so every one would have to either take turns killing the VIP and then dying to be the new VIP or something like that I'm still working out all the bugs with it. Any ways the home plate would be a VIP goal but it would be a little of to the side from homeplate so they don't get a point walking up to bat. 9 rounds timed or to a specific ammount of points. Two dug outs would hold spawns for the VIPs and it'd probably be best with 4vs.4 or more.

The Map

Preferred Gametype: FFA (3-6 players)

Preferred Weapons and Settings: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=14607015 (a shotty snipers variant I made specifically for this map.)

This takes place "outside" the map Construct on the walkways that jut out from the main part of the map. Located on each end of each of the walkways (there are 5 acessible levels in all; three on the left side, two on the right) are two-way teleporters.

Looking from all the way across the map you can snipe opponents running across the walkways, or you can charge boldly through a portal with your shotgun held at the ready. All teleporters are of the two-way variety, so camping is a losing strategy.

There are five weapons you can pick up (as well as a smattering of grenades.) An Active Camo and an Overshield powerup are also strategically placed. To reach any of these you must have a Grav Lift, and there are a total of three on the map.

The powerups make for some very interesting gameplay because while you don't necessarily need a more powerful weapon, they make kills easier.

When starting off you must immediately jump off the edge if you spawn on the main part of the map (if you spawn on one of the planks you're good to go.)This is an unavoidable inconvenience. If you choose to play the gametype I created specifically for this map, there won't be a suicide penalty so you won't be marked down for it.

Hiding on the main part of the map instead of immediately jumping off is considered cheating seeing as how it's inaccesible after the game begins.

My friends all love this map. I hope you enjoy it too.

Battle Bridge

Narrows with a twist, a turn, and a lot of fast paced frantic action. Boasts many weapons, and 2 home brewed Man Cannons, complete with Fusion Coil Artillery, and yes it works, and it's fun to watch. This map works for anyone who likes any type of gameplay, save for vehicles. I tried to get mongeese and ghosts worked in, didn't work. sorry :(

recommended players 6+, 2 teams.



Wasteland

The ultimate Infection map. works with all variations of infection... unless you've got crazy fast zombies. Survivors start out in the landed human thing, Zombies in one of the ruins. survivors are forced to run and gun to survive as their starting position is not fortified. there are scattered weapon cache's around and one heavily fortified base. Assuming you can make it there. And no, there are no vehicles on the map. not even hidden ones.


Subterrain



A small close quarters map for high intensity gameplay configured for all gametypes.

Recommended Players: 4 players, I'd love to see a saved film of a 16 person Team Slayer though if anyone feels up to the task.

Details for 'Snow valley':
This is a chirstmas map I have made early, I spent a long time tweaking the map until I have finally made it perfect (well im sure that its not completely imune to error). Players spawn in random areas on the snowy part of the maps, they are only armed with plasma grenades (hence 'snowballs') and they must use them to score points or to just kill the oppenents (in objective games)

Adds a whole new level to Narrows, but beware, the teleporters take you to the very bottom which if you touch for more than 3 seconds, you will die, so stay on the crates and try not to commit suicide

EDIT: the rocket on the bottom is now a sword and the fuel rod is now the weapon in the middle (top)

Also the middle teleporters on the very bottom take you up top to the 2 way nodes on each base directly above

Just tell me how well gametypes work on it and screw around with the spawns, the weapons are very balanced for either side

GAMETYPE
Pretty good if you have custom power ups, makes zombies much stonger, this gametype is very fun especially if zombies have available cloak, makes it very scary. It is unbalanced for the zombies but on certain maps it can be awesome.

Map:
The Dragon's Lair
The team on the beach has a floating castle high above the sand. Each team has an equal share of vehicles, weapons, and items. A great map for Slayer, Multi-Flag/Bomb, VIP, Infection, KoTH, and Territories. Great for sniping and vehicle mayhem too.

Game Variant:
Enter the Dragon
Bruce Lee must find a way into Han's base and stop his illegal operations. Bruce Lee (VIP) is gold, his apprentices (team) white, and Han's gang (enemy team) is black. If Bruce Lee is successful (he reaches the checkpoint on top of the base) his team scores, if he is killed Han's team scores. There are 4 rounds (2 a Bruce Lee's team, 2 as Han's), each ends after 3 minutes or when a point is scored.

Game Variant:
Batman vs. Joker
The Joker is trying to take over the Bat Cave, Batman's team must stop him at all cost. The Joker is green, his team is purple, and Batman's team is black. If the Joker is successful (he reaches the goal inside the Bat Cave) his team scores, if he is killed Batman's team scores. There are 4 rounds, each ends after 3 minutes or when a point is scored.

Dead Crossing is a map completely redone! it is a creation made from a Narrows canvas. This is a map that appeals to all pleasures. It has tactical areas, a mixed array of guns, and tricks that will test your mind.
The map is split into two levels, the bottom level is a close combat level with an array of guns, equipment, and teleporters
that can lead you to your doom or your safety. The upper level is a DANGER ZONE packed with fuel cannons. It is meant mainly as a
sniping level because there are 5 snipers on each end, rocket launchers, and a hidden spartan laser. This map has been made
workable with all game types. Me (breezyroy05), xSitVx Ducky, and LOnghornfan06 spent nearly 11 HOURS working on
this map. We are trying to get it worldwide. We also had an advisor named xSitVx Gamer. If you have any questions or constructive
critism please contact one of us. Thank you we worked really hard and we hope you all enjoy it. Thanks again.

The Temple

New Spawn Points, New Vehicle Schemes. Here was the basic idea going into this. One sided CTF. The defenders would be in, or just outside of the temple like structures of the sandtrap. The Attackers, would have to search the temple to retreve an ancient artifact (the flag) gaurded by the temple gaurds (defenders) and return it to a home base in a safe location. (to sell at the local pawn shop for thousands of dollars) The Flag was hidden in a dangerous trap hallway. There was a teleporter node that lead you right to it, but many would be ignorant if the Helper behind the reciever node. (overshield) Anyone who could make it to the flag, had a slim chance of etting out. But if they did, they'd better still have enough luck to get back to the meeting point where the elites crash landed.
Unfortunatley, I experienced some difficulties. The flag would never spawn in the right place.Always in some random place. If someone were to help me fix this, I'd be glad to repost the renewed map. But I discovered that there was so much more that can be done in this map. Every other game type would work perfectly. So until I can fix the CTF problem, that's the only thing you can't do on this map. Fun Ensures.

So much has been changed, deleted, and moved around on this map, I can't bring myself to find every one of them. I will say that it's an amazing map for vehicle battles since nearly every vehicle is now on there. Some Falling Fusion Coils, Great at Parties *wink*.And the weapons have been moved around and added. I covered as much as I can. But I think there's still more to this map. Anyway, have fun.

Edge 2.0 - The New Sandtrap, but out of the map!!!!

This is the Sequel to the Original Edge which recieved 2700+ Downloads as of this point!!!! It's basically Sandtrap, but with different weapon placement and two new Bases outside of the origianl Map Area on Sandtrap.
Edge 2.0 supports all game Modes, but Here are the recommended Game Modes:
Edge 1 Flag CTF (best option)
Edge 2 Flag CTF
Edge One Bomb
Edge Assault
Edge Neutral Bomb
More Game Modes will be Arriving Soon!!!!

Basically, Edge is Sandtrap, but with 2 new bases on the outside of the map, a Base on the structure you can see from the main area of sandtrap, but on the Edge of the map. And a floating Base right above it!!!! Sandtrap then becomes a warzone as players from both sides fight their way across it to reach the other side in hope of securing the flag/placing the bomb. This map has been greatly updated since the last version and will make this a more enthralling experience!!! Here's a description of each area:
-Stucture Base: this is located outside of the map and contains a Missile Pod, a Shotgun, a Needler, some Grenades and a bubble shield + a few vechiles. There are also Two Turrets and this is the Defenders Flag return/spawn Location. There are two Exits (by vechile/foot or by Teleporter leading to Sniper Tower) and 1 Entrance (by teleporter on Sniper Tower)
-Floating Base: this is located directly above the Structure Base and is Attackers respawn point. It contains Sniper Rifles, equipment and a Banshee. There are Two Exits(by Banshee or by teleporter leading to Attacker's Elephant/ Assault Cove) and no Entrances. Once you leave, the only way to get back in is to spawn on it
-Sniper Tower: this is located as the big Sand camoflauged tower structure on the Defenders side of Sandtrap. It feature sniper rifles, a regenorator and some grenades. It also has the teleporters to and from the Structure Base
-Assault Cove: This is located in a sand camoflauged stronghold. It features grenades, a BR, Sentinal Beam and a brute shot. It also features a reciever node from the floating base. This is the Attacker's main stationary base on Sandtrap area
-Elephant: the attacker's elephant features grenades, a brute chopper and a reciever node from the floating base. It also has the attacker's flag return/ spawn point. this is the attacker's main base on Sandtrap area (NOTE: Defender's Elephant will only spawn on match where both teams are attacking)
-Anti-personell Wall: This is a wall made out of turret cases on the defenders side that features a mounted turret, two BR's and some grenades. There is also a turret just to the right of the wall with has a better view but less cover
-Attacker's Side: This covers most of Sandtrap Area, and features a Prowler, a guass warthog, two mongooses, a rocket launcher, Assault Cove, a wraith,an elephant and less notable weaponary/equipment
-Defender's Side: This is considerably smaller than the attacker's side, but way more fortified and less empty. It features Sniper Tower, the Anti-Personnel Wall, a prowler, a brute chopper, a ghost, a scorpian, a gauss warthog, a mongoose, a grav hammer, an energy sword, an elephant (on matches where both teams are attacking) and less notable weaponary.
-Du Pont: this is the road down centre of the map and features a Spartan Laser, the neutral bomb point and is near key killing points (Anti-Personnell Wall, Rocket Launcher spawn, Grav Hammer Spawn, spartan laser spawn, etc.
- There is also a custom powerup in a clearly visible, though camoflauged and uninviting place. If you find it, it will make you really fast, low gravity, invisible but you'll have no shields and one shot will kill you!!!!

NOTE: Although it says on the Description that it supports 2-16 Players, the more the better and more fun the experience will be!!!!
