This is apple pit I have been working and testing this one out for a wile now , it has allot more interesting game flow than the original Pit. I strongly suggest you take a look around the map before you start hosting party's on it .........lots to see. sry about the bumps just ignore them.

Apple Pit


this map is just a strong change from The Pit but it does not have any weird useless things (85% Function 15% Form) .You can use any built in games nicely and it will handle SOME custom games that are not to CRAZY. Apple Pit has its own game flow that will seam chaotic at first but when you play for a bit you see the order to the chaos. I dont whant to say there is a "lot" of power weps , because there is just the right amount for some real fun games maybe just
a bit hectic game play..........but you get the idea..........go have some fun guys.

I am sry to anyone who downloaded this map on 10/12/07 that one was the old one this is the new one....

P.S. On the third story of the base do not go past the barriers ....remember "curiosity killed the cat".

MotorTrap (2.0)
To be used with:
Vehicular Manslaughter and Team Vehicular Manslaughter

I really, really love vehicle combat in Halo games, so of course my first major Forge effort focused on making a vehicular combat gametype and map. I present to you: Vehicular Manslaughter on MotorTrap. This map is overloaded with quickly spawning vehicles of every type (including two Hornets near the standard Banshee spawns). All the spawn points have been moved around the edges of the map, all are within a short distance of a vehicle, and you only start with a plasma pistol - so hurry up and grab a ride. Stashed around the middle areas of the map are power and anti-vehicle weapons (Spartan lasers, gravity hammers, rocket pods, extra turrets, etc.), but you won't spawn anywhere near them, so they'll require at least some walking to get to. So, that's pretty much it...grab a vehicle, kill some doodz. The team variant should work nicely for you to take advantage of the team vehicles like the tanks and the gauss hogs that are spread around. Don't forget -- charged plasma pistol bolts can stop a land vehicle in its tracks!

The 2.0 came about because the original variant didn't have power weapons at all, it was strictly vehicles only. But we found that whoever grabbed the Hornet first pretty much dominated everyone else. This version has the Hornet respawn time upped more than the other vehicles (but still shorter than the default, I believe), and the power weapons spread around should take care of the balance issues. I may get around to making a Valhalla variant soon, but flying around and moving all those spawn points is kind of tedious.

This is still a work in progress, so I may make tweak it a little more after I get a chance to do some more playtesting. If anyone wants to get a huge custom game together to play, hit me up! And Lukems -- I will pwn you with my Hornet of doom, if you're not too scared to take me on. That's right. I know my 21 intimidates you.

Rain

Reworked version of the pit that has fusion cores constantly falling from the air. Rain Run is the most compatible map for it. The object of the game is to become the Juggernaut, and survive the trip to the goal zones. Juggernaut is random, and has only the objective to get to the goal. Change team play to off to increase the chaos.

This map is designed for infection and offers a constant frantic beach assult style of gameplay.
its well balanced and the survivors do start with the advantage however weapons do not respawn therefore giving the infected an edge later on in the game.
Even though this map varient is designed for infection it also supports assult and CTF pretty well.

That's pretty good for 2 hours of music without explosions and people yelling. I don't care if you steal it, but God does...

Sandals, for when your Mongoose flips for the 7th time in as many minutes.

I play Rocket Race. I like it. But I can't seem to get the mongoose to drive well for me. So, I did the logical thing: Instead of practice and increased my 'goose skillz, I created my answer to Rocket Race. Foot Race. I reimagined the checkpoints, made them run in a linear fashion, and gave all of the players caffeine shots. Player speed is maxed, gravity reduced, and all starting spawns put at equal distances from checkpoint 1. Across a minefield. On foot, it takes about 1:30 to hit each checkpoint in order. But that is alone, and who wants to play with themselves? So, to make things interesting, I also set the spawn weapons to Spartan Lasers and Energy Swords. It makes things considerably more interesting to be sprinting over a dune and then to be hit in the back by a red beam o' death.

If you don't like how I set up the race, go ahead and tweak the checkpoint order and spawn weapons. If you turn vehicles on, each starting spawn will have a nice Ghost ready to tear up the minefield. But for any gametype on this map, it should be noted that it is the most fun to have one player on a team, as only the vip gets the speed boost. If you like either the game or the map, feel free to leave comments in the repective threads. Thank you.

Laser Tag
This is a Team slayer game type. Spartan Lasers only with every player having 4x overshields. Shields do not recharge automatically but vampirism is turned on. It takes one laser hit to take down 4x shields and then a follow up shot or melee will take the opponent out. No grenades.
It's best played on a large map with 6 or more players.

Laser Tag - Sandtrap
This a Spartan Laser only. Best played with my Laser Tag gametype. Active camo, Regenerators and Bubble Shields are present, vehicles are available for the foolish. A teleporter maze is set up to gain quick access to weapon spawns and high look-outs.

Eagle's Nest
This map is a slight improvement over my last offering of the same name. The Eagle's Nest is a reference to Hitler's secret hide-out in the mountains of Austria. A high and lofty hold out for the SS, where they could look down on their approaching invaders.

-Best played with an Infection gametype. I prefer Classic Zombies

-No weapons are available on the map except for the high platform just behind the windmill. Uber weapons are stored there to help you resist the infected invasion. The weapons are now stored on holders to make for easier pick up.

-The Infected will have to use some smarts and teamwork to overcome the entrenched on their perch.

Gravemind- All Zombies have 200% Damage Resistance and no Shields. Alpha Zombie has omni-radar and moves at 100%. Zombies have no Radar and move 90%. All Zombies (Alpha included) jump at 75% Gravity. The Humans spawn on one side of the map with Pistols. They must pick up the power weapons on the Zombie side of the map. There is only one Grav-Lift which can be used to attain the Rocket Launcher or Fuel Rod Cannon in either side's attic. The game mainly focuses on headshots with the pistol to stay alive. The Power Weapons and a good position CAN delay your inevitable death. The Alpha Zombie is referred to as the Gravemind. All zombies must consult the Gravemind to find their enemies.

This map is called AIR ISLAND II. I have seen the power of new ideas, so I thought I'd add to my predecessor, BUT then a thought came to me. Now I have taken that thought into action, creating an entirely new map with the same idea as AIR ISLAND. Now all I want is for you to enjoy it.

Three Days Rest definition: CARNATION. CARNATION is to define it, make you see it, hear it, and feel it. The more elaborate description: Castles to destroy, sky islands to destroy, fusion coil fields to destroy. What happens in this map is beyond unique, but... extraordinary.

This is my newest map (as of 9/17/07). There are weapons and vehicles to surround you, scattered amongst the map. What is truly extraordinary about this map:

MONGOOSEBOUND! -by noob monsta

I made a map called Mongoosebound to be played with the gametype Madness.
Both files are in my File Share.

This is a Honour Rules game. There are teams of 2 and each team must take a Mongoose. There is a driver and a shooter (VIP). The rule is that the VIP can ONLY attack if he is on the back of a Mongoose. The driver does no damage and so he has nothing to do but drive.
Weapons are Sniper and Shotgun with replenishing grenades. There are also some flame grenades hidden around the place.
This plays a bit like Rocket Race with a lot less flipping and a few more sweet kills, and sticks. Just imagine the satisfaction of getting a Headshot on another VIP on a mongoose while your both flying towards each other.

This map is VERY fun and I recommend downloading it. I recommend it be played with 4-8 players.

Undead Battle. As a Vamp, survive the zombies for the time limit. Try it out and tell me what yall think. I tried to be as realistic as possible with it. Should be madd funn.

Map made to force off-colour weapon choices. Flamethrower spawns in replace of the Hammer, and power weapons do not spawn at game start. Sentinel Beams replace the carbines, and the equipment on the map has been replaced by a Direction Cover and some Grav Lifts.. Custom power replaces the Rocket Launcher.

Intended for 6-8 players in Team Slayer.

Guilty Slayer - Team Slayer for 6-8 Players
A first attempt at making a gametype that forces more intense teamplay.. Motion sensors are disabled except for the game -leader-. This player is coloured Gold, and is visible to the opposing team. Teams spawn together and waypoints flash to inform their Allies of their spawn.

Player Speed is 110%, and players spawn with pistols. The custom powerup doubles speed, gives infinite clip .and adds several (tiny) perks but you are visible to the enemy, and only do half damage. You are also stuck with what weapons you already have. Meant to be the 'runner'. Perhaps too complicated a powerup.

Ninja vs. samurai
This game variant is a remade infection. The Game begins with one ninja and the rest are samurai. ninjas have no shields, unlimited grenades and ammo, and start with a sword. On top of this they have impressive speed and low gravity. The samurai on the other hand have regular shields, start with a gravity hammer, and can use any weapon and vehicle on the map while ninjas can't. The Last samurai gets an added over shield and infinite ammo. Other than those changes it plays like a regular infection game. It is very fun with large groups of people and yet is still fair in gameplay. I have tweaked the map narrows for better gameplay on this gametype here (Be warned as a ninja it is hard to get used to the speed and jump height you have)

Everyone gets shotguns. There is a machine gun in the tower so that is the place to go. Objective is to kill everyone. best played in teams of two (one on machine gun, and one covering his back. couple of back entrances to the tower but be carefull not to get spotted by the machine gun.

Mosh Pit, The ultimate in non-stop action
Guardian, with every spawn point in the very center of the map. This arrangement guarantees that you will never have to worry about finding an enemy ever again. Works best with my gametype. Its simple, yet mindlessly fun! Best for 8-16 players.

I will eventually make one of these for each map but for now there are 4 very popular maps in my Bungie Pro Fileshare.

The CCMs are maps which are confined within a small portion of a map and when they are combined with my ROF (Ring of Fire) Gametype are very fun.

The maps are:
1- Death Trap (Guardian)
2- Gang Green! (Snowbound)
3- Cataract (Sandtrap)
4- Kinetic (Epitath)

Preffered Players:
6-12 (too many may cause so much lag that the game wont be able to keep score)

all maps have one centrally located, often respawning Overshield (except for Kinetic which has 2) and each may eventually send you to its own custom DEATH TELEPORTER which is a one way ticket to oblivion in my little halo universe.

The ROF Gametype is a fast paced High-Gravity, Random spawning wepon Chaos-fest when confined to these small areas, also when including the fact that a teleporter may save you or be the end of you.

The Threat of someone spawning with the "Grab-Nar" Gravity Hammer or the "Crab-Nar" Energy sword is also a looming threat as well, these players can usually take advantage of their close-range prowess to rack up some serious kills.

Each map is highly favorable by the many whom have played it and I reccommend that anyone reading this thread should Get the maps, play them on the right gametype (ROF) and then rate them just so i get good ideas. Feedback on my maps here is also appreciated.

Also in my fileshare is the Halo Cart Double Dash map.

This map set on sandtrap is the closest rendition to Mario Cart DD, as currently seen on Halo 3. Made by me and Hated Aries, and tweaked by Firestorm12, this gametype which most likely will rely on some sort of honor system works great when played right and with the Halo Cart DD map and Gametype combined.

There is enough room for 8 racers and up to 8 spectators or "Road Referees" 4 mongooses (one driver, one passenger) will barrel down a set path around the inner-outer ring of sandtrap and has many obsticales that become very hard to avoid when accounting for the other drivers. The road side pit-stop also helps for if you wnat a piece of equipment or a new way to blow someone up.

This map also has been getting alot of positive attention and a fair amount of downloads accounting for the original 48, before my Bungie Pro revamping.


Reccomended Players:
8 for fun
9+ fun/ official racing.

Elite Megaloma v.01 is a Valhalla variant for a one flag CTF. Try discovering where all the cool weapons are if you're attacking, but when deffending, you're well armed. A new challenge for 8-16 players(recommended, but fun with at least 3v3). Team work needed! Game type under modification, Beta available at my file share too(has some flaws, download at your own risk). It is fun even with normal one flag ctf game type, but a new game type that uses all the new maps advantages and disadvantages is in progress. [thanks for your Feedback/Rating]

Remake of Halo's Chiron
Obvioulsy from the name, this a remake of Chiron from Halo, which the co-creator and I felt, was an extremely under appreciated map. So we did with what we could. This links to the map itself, in which there is another link to the variants for slayer and an explanation as to Objective style games.

Apocolypse
This map is best played with 28 weeks later and with 16 people. This sandtrap map has been greatly modified, with weapons, teleporters and obsticles placed everywhere. Stay on the vehicals and out run the zombies, try and hoild your ground on a hill or search for the many hidden secrets, the choice is yours. Zombies run fast, die fast, kill fast and the humans have to be constantly aware of their surroundings
