Map: High hoops

This is basically High Ground without weapons to pick up and set up for basketball Vip matches; All the goal areas are up in the air like Baskets for the Vip to jump through. There are lots of nades tho...for some dirty play.

Gametype: White Men Can't Jump

Inspired by infamous1992 flick the gametype name actually means just that. There are two teams; the Vee-Ai-Peez and Terrorjocks. Vee-Ai-Peez have an orange (strangly resembling a basketball) scoring object in the form of a spartan (or elite, whatever flows your boat...). They need to score by escorting their precious ultra leightweight orange object thingie through the hoops (in High Hoops map ofcourse, yay). With ultraspectacular power and agility the Vee-Ai-Peez will try to prevail. However, this will prove not be so easy. A gang of white guys (whatever that may mean, I dunno), the Terrorjocks, will try to stop them with dirty tactics. These guys cant jump, but they shure as hell can shoot from a distance with their Battlerifles. Not fully harmless, the Vee-Ai-Peez carry some pimpalicious secondhand gravity hammers for their defence.

both to be downloaded from my Fileshare

Swords Jousting(Map) | Swords Jousting(Game)
Team Doubles, made for the SwordsJousting "Slayer" game variant. The map is designed so that two teams race around and kill each other on a mongoose.
Player 1 (VIP, Team leader, whatever) can only ride passenger, has no shields, has a damage multiplyer of 100%, can only survive 50% of normal damage, and has an energy sword with unlimited ammo. The driver (player 2) is invulnerable, also does 0 damage. Vehicles are indestructible.
Basically, just driveby sword-slashing at the other team's passenger. Weapon pickup is disabled, grenades are disabled.

8 teams of two players recommended. All spawn points removed aside from behind each team's respective mongoose. Somewhat similar to rocket race.

I downloaded a map called blue room (very cool, kudos to the guys who discovered it) and tried to make it so you spawn down there. I put spawn zones and spawn points there, but you'd still spawn on some invisible spawn point outside. And I didn't manage to get the "starting points" down there.

Any tips?

..//SAND\\..

This is a great Infection map, one that inspires teamwork for Humans and Zombies.
It has been play tested and everyone that tested it loved it.

There is a VERY detailed description in the thread.
pls comment.

Turkey Nugget Inc. The new chicken nugget.

I have another map called STORM. It is a small d-day map set up for only 4-8 people! This map is great for double team, 3v3 or 4v4. So, if you already have a d-day map, you still may want to download this to whip it out whenever you only have a small party.

"Spartan Clone Training Complex"

I just copied this from my Topic. I have 5 maps and published two of them.

Maps:
Jackal Falls
Kalahari Desert

This is the way the world ends.

Well I have been working on this for a few weeks now. Tinkering with it and trying to get it just right. Now the maps aren't what I would call PERFECT. But they are pretty close. If you play these maps right they are a lot of fun. Especially when you race them double dash style. (One driving, one on back.) Each map has 2 variants. A race variant and a time trial variant. There are also 2 game variants. A race variant and a time trial variant. More into that later. Here are the levels

Kalahari Desert - 50 cc
Wide open spaces! A very large course with plenty of room to ride. But be careful not to crash on these dangerous dunes.

Jackal Falls - 100 cc
An intense course filled with big jumps and winding paths. Prepare to get wet inside this massive gorge!

Sidewinder - 150 cc
A challenging snow course that is sure to test your kart skills! There isnt much room for error on this icy highway!

Boom Boom Beach - 50 cc
A coure that might just cause you to lose your lunch! Prepare yourself for bumps and turns galore on this sandy speedway!

Treehouse - 150 cc
A very small course with a lot of wall smashing and kart flipping. Get ready for a tight race on this tiny track!

Video showing you laps on the Race Map Variants with the Halo Kart race variant selected.

As I said earlier there are two types of map/game variants. Each map has 2 variants. One is for Race the other is for Time Trial. Same goes for the gametype. There are 2 gametypes. Race and Time Trial.

Race Variant
This is where you and your friends see who has the best cart skills. You can either race without riders or with riders. But take note that if you have a rider then everyone else must have one as well.

You get 5 points everytime you cross the finish line. Now this might be confusing at first but after lap 1 you should understand why. Since you start out BEFORE the checkpoint, you will pass through it 4 times in a 3 lap race. The score is set to 20. Therefore 4 checkpoints X 3 laps = 20 points.

Here are some rules when playing the race variant of the maps.

Rules

* The VIP is the driver. No exceptions.
* In order to make it a doubles race, everyone must have a partner.
* Riders cannot attack other carts when not on the back of a cart.
* If a rider dies, he/she must wait at the checkpoint. He/she can ride again once the driver finishes the lap that the rider died on.
* If seen attacking while off the cart, the rider/driver will be disqualified from the current race.
* The rider is given a Plasma Pistol and Needler to start the race. Grenades replinish and they are given unlimited ammo. Fire grenades are in some levels at spawn as well.
* There is a 60 min. time limit. The party will agree on a time to start. (For example, the party may agree to start the race at 59:30)
* The race may also start if there is a non racer present. The non racer will shoot a pyramid of fusion cores with the sniper to begin the race. (Both are on every level) The explosion is visible from the starting line.
* If a party member thinks there was an illegal move during the race. The party will watch the film and a majority vote will determine whether or not the move was infact illegal.
* Have fun.

Good luck out there!

Here is a quick Q&A...
Q: Why do you lose 5 points if the VIP dies?
A: This was to fix a scoring glitch on Treehouse. Here is the situation. You cross the checkpoint and are given your 5 points. You then fall off the level and respawn before the checkpoint. You drive through the checkpoint again to resume the race and are suddenly ahead 5 points.

Q: Where are the Sniper/Fusion coils on each level.
A: The Kalahari sniper is after you telport to the top. The fusion coils are on the opposite tower. The Jackal Falls sniper is just past the big jump on the top of the highest grassy hill. The fusion coils are on top of boulder straight ahead of the finish line. The Sidewinder sniper is on top of the Covanent generator looking thing and the fusion coils are in the snow straight out from the starting line. The Boom Boom Beach sniper is atop the missle silo and the fusion coils are on the top of the cliff right behind the silo. The Treehouse sniper is right behind you when you spawn and the coils are on the ledge to the right of the first doorway you enter.

Q: Why is there a gravity hammer on each level?
A: How else do you punish a cheater?

Feel free to ask questions.

Now for the time trial variant.

Time Trial Variant
This is where you practice each level. You are supposed to do this alone, but you can have a rider if you want, as long as you are on the same team. This variant helps you learn the level because it has a series of checkpoints along the way. So after watching the video posted earlier and a few Time Trial runs you should have these maps perfected in no time. Here is a quick video showing you Time Trial in action.

Time Trial

You get 1 point every checkpoint along the way. And after you finish lap 3 the game ends on its on. This one variant works with every map. Which I have to say I am happy I got it to work out like that.

_______________________________________________

Now if played right his is a very fun game. I hope it gets popular and I will one day race some of you. I don't mean to brag but I don't think anyone can beat me on Jackal Falls.

Have fun and race fair guys!

Goosen

Taken from thread:

Goosen is a gametype that a few friends and myself thought up during the Beta. I made it about a month ago, but I recently fixed it up. The game is very fun with a party of 8-12 people. Teams of 2, with both getting on a Mongoose. Here are the basics:

1. Everyone starts out with a Shotgun and Plasma Pistol. If you want to mix it up a bit, try switching one of the starting weapons to the Sniper.
2. Everyone moves slow. VERY slow. The slowest setting, to be exact. That is why you must get in a Mongoose.
3. Shoot a Mongoose with the Pistol to disable it, and use the Shotgun to finish them off. If you're using the Sniper, try to pick them off from far away (while still on the Mongoose, of course)

This game is only fun if all players are on the Mongoose, so only play with friends or people you know won't cheat (walking around and sniping).

map: Heavy Weapon

remake of the narrows, all over the map there are just heavy weapons. Rockets, spla zers fuel rod guns, a few snipes and hammers and 2 Brs that i forgot to take out. one mongoose that you can get splatters with .... in the air.
there is a grav lift at each man cannon so you can control the middle of the map with only aiming but no infinate ammo so you need to get out some times. Lots of teleporters about to confuse and help you escape thought there is one that sends you back to one that youve just came through. also a normal weapons version of the same set up and a one sided flag.

best slayer version is one where you lose points if you die but get more points for sprees can make the game last for ages though. best with tonnes of people in it.

find it in the weeega profile also check the clip of the what happened while i was buildin the map

No.

Racetrap
This Sandtrap variant was built from a completely empty map. Every object, spawn point, etc has been carefully placed by myself. There are 8 "bases" for each of the 8 possible teams, each complete with a mongoose and any objective objects (flags, bombs...). Each go-to point and territory has been carefully resized depending on its location and use.

I will edit in some race game types later.

Twin Forts

I believe I gave this map as much balance as possible by equally stocking Snowbound's two bases, and hididing other wepons on the map. Everthing you need to know about this map is written in the link. So Click, Download, Call up some friends, And declare war on them in the best Team Slayer Map Variant Available from Snowbound.

I dare Ya to go through the teleporter.

Why does Bungie put us through such avid anticipation?

Snowbomb

This an insane map I just made, tested, fixed, tested again, fixed again. Wait, I fixed it 5 times. ANYWAY...this map is all on the edge of snowbound, players start at equally sized, and distanced apart from the bomb in the center of the playing area. The players must run to the bomb, ducking for cover from the plasma turrets. Players respawn back in their bases. The cover is also slowly being eroded to make much diversity.

Best played with 6-12 people.

I created this map with all the areas that are possible to get to using forge, and all the weapons/equipment/etc. on them. You can see some samples in my screenshots.

Other things:
-Best played with pisol starts.
-Theres about a 15% chance you'll re-spawn in a death room, so try not to die and have no suicide penalty if you want.
-Theres a warthog that spawns outside the fence in the base.
-Alot of the teleporters are two way, so if you go through and you see no where to go, turn around.
-The teleporters go in this order (from left to right)
1 - Inside base
2 - Just outside base
3 - Everywhere else

-With the screenshots of the stairs/metal grates, i've gotten to these areas, but couldn't place any respawns/teleporters there, only fusion coils, grav lifts etc.
-You'll know it if you spawn in a death room, there will be fusion coils/propane tanks all around, just shoot one to die.
-The overshield and camo are in teleporter numer 2.
-Camo is behind the teleporter on top of base.
-Oversheild is by rockets.
-There is usally limited mobility in these areas.
-The weapons are as following (these are approx.)

1 gravity hammer
1 energy sword
3-4 battle rifles
3-4 assault rifles
2 SMGs
1 needler
1 rocket launcher
3 snipers (two with 4 bullets and one with 12.)
1 beam rifle
1 mongoose
1 ghost
1 warthog
1 gauss warthog
1 splazer
2 spikers
several plasma/spike/frag grenades

-Theres only weapons in the glitched areas, no where else.
-Add me to play customs on this map, i'll be doing them right now for a while.

This works best on team slayer, oddball, or FFA slayer.

There are a lot of anti vehicle weapons and anti personal weapons it is only really fun when you get a large party.
gametype

I think therefore we have nothing in common.

I figure this would be the best place to ask. I'm working on a game variant that requires one particular player to spawn & respawn in a specific spot only. I feel I've tried everything, but cannot figure it out, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as I have the map and rules all ready to go. Thanks.

Fort Pit

Heres mine. I think its very balanced for both sides.

Just made a few changes to PIT, first and foremost its a Territories map but also makes for a good CTF map. I put the flag and the territory spawn on the top towers of both bases. The territory is only offense vs defense while the CTF mode is both. Added turrets on both the towers. Also added grav lifts on one side to enter the top and teleporters too. One teleporter leads above while the second one leads to the middle of the map near the sword so offense doesn't have to walk a long way if they don't want to. Added flame grenades and fusion cores. Theres a bubble shield on the top to help the offense. My friends and I tested it out today and I made a few adjustments. All in all good fun was had by all. It got really intense in that little room.

I would appreciate if you dl it and leave some feedback. Highly recommended for 4+ players. Settings for territories, I recommend 7 min games with 2 min capture time. Also make sure to turn off the radar, it makes it a lot more intense! You can set it for 1 min also but I've noticed that 2 min is the sweet spot as its not too easy to score but can be accomplished with a good team. It also doesn't make the defense feel as if its too difficult to defend. As for capture the flag I didn't get to try it out. I recommend setting instant return on flag because of the teleporters. The weapons are all the same on the map, I didn't move any around just added a couple of Maulers up top and a sniper rifle on the the top. Please leave feedback! Thank you!

Juno Beach:
This is my recreation (with several liberties) of the Canadian D-Day beach assault known as Juno Beach. Impressed by the D-Day beaches on Last Resort, I set out to make my own but not on Last Resort (there were already too many on that map). Defenders (the Germans) start in the base and have plenty of ammunitions and defences (including "Stielhandgranate" aka spike grenades). The Attackers (Canadians) have a makeshift base with a "boat" (see pictures in link) and are well armed. It is a territories game, and the territories are clearly marked in the thread. Click ME!!!

This game type is needed to play this game the way I intended it.

In addition to my pictures that I provided, films from both test games are in my file share for your viewing pleasure :)

enjoi.

Subsistence:
A map made on Construct for Infection with 8-16 players. I've worked on this map for many hours in order to achieve the fairest and most balanced gameplay for both humans and zombies. The basic concept is: humans spawn, find one of four bases or perches and survive. Zombies spawn, kill, and add others to their zombie horde.

Humans need to work together and stay alive, lone wolves are always behind the pack.
Zombies need to use teamwork as well, once the zombohorde starts to grow, it is inevitable that the humans will fall.

Very fun, very balanced.
