I took a whole afternoon to make this. one day it just popped into my head after screwing around in forge on foundry.

I call it Base War. This map contains 2 bases, one of which was made from scratch using foundry's universally usefull walls and other neat tools. Its a great map for Team based games ranging from medium to large. Please check this one out, once you see it you will know just how good it is.

In 1845, Master Chief & Chuck Norris met at a pub in Ireland. They made a bet as to who could eat more potatoes in one sitting. By 1852, they had both eaten so many potatoes that there weren't enough to feed the Irish people, subsequently causing the deaths of 25% of the entire population of Ireland. History attributes it to a pathogenic water mould, Phytophthora infestans, but the Irish know the truth, and to this day, still refer to it as "The MC & Chuck Norris Irish Massacre."

Penetration

"Defense rules on this One-Flag CTF map variant. Can you go all the way?"

This is an original Forge creation specifically designed with One-Flag CTF in mind.. It's also configured to support multi-flag, Slayer, King, VIP, and I suppose infection. Although I have not officially tested it with the other game types.

The default config gives the defensive team a small advantage in firepower, while the offense gets 3 mongooses and is closer to the warthog.

The Multi-flag config brings things closer to balance, although the map is nearly symmetrical, there are noticeable differences which affect advantage and gameplay.

This is my first attempt at editing a Halo map; I am confident of the overall design but am not sure how my weapon selection and placement is, so if you try it out, feel free to offer opinions.

first off i give my credit to bungie because i saw them playing on this map but ithought it was so cool i thought everyone should be able to use it so i drew the outline and made it... it is almost identical exept i threw in some of my own twists... i have pics on my profile please download...its basically a giant wall with like 3 or soo different levels of entrance and two forts so

THE BEST DODGEBALL MAP AND GAME VARIANT IN HALO 3...HOURS OF FUN

Me and some friends have created a dodgeball map that is amazing. Two teams, five lives and unlimited spike, plasma, and fire bomb grenades on the map. there are also deployable covers and one bubble shield to make things interesting. Definitely worth the download from my file share with the map callled dodgball arena and the gametype called dodgball. Please respond if you like/dislike the map or game

Tower of Power

Game Variant
Map Variant



In Halo 2, people played ascension trying to gain control of the tower and turret. Well my foundry map is just that. Tower of Power. Two teams start at their spawns. They try to get to the tower and on the way kill eachother, and not get killed. Once someone gets to the tower, they gain control of the machine gun which will destroy everyone else because there are no sheilds and only shotguns. That may sound stupid but fighting for the control of the mega weapon is very fun.

The changed things are, no shields and primary weapon is shotgun. also no team changing. Here are some screens of the map.
In the map there is a large building with a chaingun at top and infront of the tower is all sorts of cover. Some screenshots will make it easier to understand. ( A picture is worth a thousand words)

So far the best one I have played on I am particular to making sure everything has the same feel with also making sure gameplay does not change

This one honestly I cant say is the best or not for I have not played anybody else's but if has a good feel to it , and allot of the same gameplay is there

<FIRST EVER "BOUND" SINGLE PLAYER GAME AND MAP VARIANT>

It's fun, and my friends are still going for best time.

Look for "Bound Halo 1.0, and Bound"

Follow the link to my file share and download the ones with "Bound" in the name. It is a simple form of score, VIP checkpoints, but how you get to the checkpoints will have you reminiscent of the good old days with StarCraft.

This is a fun little version of what I can do. If you want to see the much much harder stuff I cooked up message me.

*Warning* you must play the map with the game mode. Well duh!

Some hints for anyone stuck: (SPOILERS)
1. The first bound: look for a hidden weapon
2. The second bound: use what you've exploded well
3. The third bound: Is a race against time.
4. The fourth bound: Is a major glitch in walling.
5. The fifth bound: Well remind you of how you got nearly all the skulls in Halo 2.

this is an amazing map. There are 2 bases which have LOTS of weapons, granades and equipment. there is only one exit from the bases, a gravity tunnel. Shooting you at hyper speeds, they fly you into a smaller room where you fight to the death - no way out. Get the team slayer varient and unlock some massive surprises! It is really fun so I reccomend it to all people who love big battles, big weapons & big amounts of fun.
I have spent alot of time on this and it works very well. Thanks to anyone who tries it.

PRISON BALL: gametype ; map

I've come to the conclusion that dodgeball and Halo 3 don't mix. I mean, in order for dodgeball to work right, the players are going to have to be willing to sit out of the action until whenever. No one wants to do that. So I decided to design a set-up that mimics a dodgeball variant called Prisonball. No one's left out of the action, and the game keeps going until one sides score 50 kills. Plenty of grenades are about for your enjoyment. Just do everyone a favor and stay away from the teleporters until AFTER you score a kill. Follow the links for complete details.

NO MERCY ON CANNONBALL RUN: gametype ; map (both required)

I have to admit, I rushed this one. Everything is where it should be, I believe I've filled all the holes, but I think I could have placed some things a little bit neater than did. Oh well, it's just aestetics. Anyhow, this game takes the jail concept (what's with me and jails?) and mixes it with a little Neutral Plant. That's right, I said Neutral Plant: two bombs, one plant. I don't know, maybe it's been done before, but at this moment in time, I know nothing of that and I'm a genius!! Ignorance is bliss. So, each side starts off in the pre-existing bases found in this Foundry variant. Your team's bomb is in enemy hands, as is the key to releasing your captured allies. Get the bomb, free your friends, then make a mad dash effort through the cage (semi-obstacle course) to plant the bomb. First team to five wins. Those in prison, if your friends are deadbeats, you can escape for yourselves every 30 sec. Bomb is on a one minute reset to allow nudging (no one would get anywhere without it) Follow the links for full details.

Dodgeball This is great fun. It is classic dodgeball with a middle line seperating each team. Each team gets plasma grenades and a plasma pistol. Screenshots and more info in the thread check it out! Game variant is also in the thread.

This morning i started playing the new maps and i love foundry. so i forged something that i thought was pretty cool. its called VIP launchers, because it utilizes those things from red vs blue that shoot stuff at griff's face. basically two teams try to get to the launchers and shoot their vip into the score zone. unfortunately, the score zones are full of explosives, so time it carefully or risk losing your VIP! i made it so that the VIP runs really slow because otherwise you wouldnt need to use the launchers. ill have screens up later, but for now just check it out. if you have complaints, ill fix them just message me.

Short Description - Tower Control, is vital in this map as this Tower is the key to a team's success. As its equipped with all sorts of powers weapons; Sniper, shotgun, flamethrower, 4 Machine Gun Turrets, and enough equipment to surprise and hold off the attackers for awhile. Each side of the tower is Symmetrical and both have balanced weapons on each side, and vechiles for a fast rush. Tower Control can be played with EVERY and ANY game type, I can assure you and is best played with a party of 4-8. Took over 20 hours to make.
