Ok so I downloaded a blank foundry map some guy posted and proceded to spend umpteen hours creating my own forge map. Then I notice my name is not listed as the maps author. It's blank. So do I have to now go and blank out my own foundry and start all over again if I want credit for my own map?

Watchtowers
A symmetrical map created for CTF and Assault but fully playable with all gametypes. Map features two creative watchtowers each housing a sniper rifle and two unlockable teleportal routes (for description, check the Watchtowers link). There is a high catwalk that surrounds most of the map and provides access to many of the key areas. This map was designed to force teams to control specific areas of the map in order to succeed. Power weapons, such as the sword and rocket launcher, and also an overshield are centrally located on the map. Already mentioned are the sniper rifles, located in the watchtowers. Also on the map are battle rifles, spikers, SMG's, brute shots, a shotgun near each base and one in the middle, and frag, plasma, and spike grenades. Each team also has a mongoose at their disposal. Scenery on the map was placed with care to allow for strategic crouch-jumping and forced combat points. Watch for alternate routes and bottlenecks. Recommended for 6-10 players. Enjoy!

My map & gametype is an all-grenades extravaganza set in Foundry. Without the sincere attempt of "tooting my own horn," I have yet to see a grenades map that is run as strategically as this one. In fact, I've only run across one other, period.

This map divides Foundry into two equal portions with a single-high wall. It is symmetrically divided for strategic bombing and forces a focus on grenade-related deaths rather than opting to just duke it out with Assault Rifles. Each side has an equal amount of Frags, Spikes, Stickies, and Incendiaries, and various methods for getting them over the wall:

1) Two stairs with a bridge connecting them, centrally located against the far wall opposite the center Wall.
2) Two sender nodes that teleport you to a single-player perch high up above the bridge.
3) Two mancannons, set parallel to the central Wall, that can be used to throw grenades over the Wall.
4) Blind chunking is always an option too, and with the fusion coils and propane tanks spread about, it works just as well.

There are Bubble Shields, Deployable Cover, Trip Mines (to throw over the wall), & Regenerator Fields for defensive use. Moreso, there is a Custom Powerup on top of the wall that is very difficult to get, but allows temporary invulnerability and better jumping (in the otherwise gravity-stunted game variant). To top it off is a Rocket Launcher floating even higher above the Powerup that can turn the tides of the battle. Overall, this is a very well-balanced map, even with the Custom Powerup and Rockets. Assault Rifles are *only* useful if somebody jumps the wall (yes, it's doable, but not to the player's advantage, I assure you).

Two infection maps I made at foundary...
Junk Yard A Messy map with a nice base which has limited rescources causing humans to venture off into the infected filled junkyard which has a couple of hidden weapons, and a very rewarding armory... But be careful, infected stalk the halls of this messy labyrinth...


The Alamo Oh oh the Alamo... A campers dream if he can find the few places he can camp. Lots of hidden places along with an armory and other things such as BR halls and a soccer room. Also, a bunch of hidden tunnels are placed which will be hard for a survivor to find, and even harder for a zombie;)

Here's my best forge map so far.

And an excerpt from the post for those to lazy.

The map consist of a heavily fortified two story base, with a accessible roof, multiple entrances and a sniper tower. The map offers sufficient cover for an advancing team.

Weapons on map include Battle Rifles, Maulers, Brute Spikers, Gravity Hammer, Sniper Rifle, Beam Rifle and a Machine Gun Turret.

Complex is a map made for one sided games and, as of now is only set up for CTF. In coming versions I have plans for Assault, as well as a Territories game set up to play like "Tower of Power."


Please check it out. I really think it has the potential to be a great map.

Entrapment, a forged map of Rat's Nest
I designed the map by making the outside circle closed off from the inside with only a couple entrances at the bases to get out of the circle of doom, since there will be warthogs and ghosts running around, or w/e vehicle you like. The inside is made for close combat. The best game for it is CTF and the team size should be relatively big to get the full extent of what the map calls for: 12-16 players.

Simple, me and my friend designed this to be as close to an actual game of dodgeball as possible. Map variant of Last resort called "db". The court is a blocked off section out in the water, with containers making 3 sides and the invisible level boundry the fourth. the box is cut in two halves one for each side with 8 weapon holders placed on the middle barrier each holding its own plasma grenade. the goal is simple. Just like in real dodgeball you make a mad dash for a ball (plasma sticky) and attempt to stick the other team. Once you are stuck and die you are eliminated from the round. but thankfully you dont have to stay dead and watch, you will respawn in what i call the 'dead room' a tiny blocked off room under the snipe platform with stickies placed all around. The only real point to this room is to keep eliminated players entertained by blowing the -blam!- out of eachother.

The game variant is dodgeball (db) a tweaked version of neutral assault. players are affected more by gravity and are damage resistant so really the only way to kill is with a stick. And you can forget about shooting because everyone spawns with plasma pistols that do practically nothing. The point of neutral assault is so when you have eliminated the entire opposing team you grab the bomb from the crate it sits on in the middle and detonate it on your opponents side of the court. And to discourage early bomb grabs you move very slow with it.

Okay, this was a project by me and Mugia offline, once we had finished downloading the map pack we went straight into forge and began constructing a maze on foundry. I think we were the first to do this, so in hope of maybe CAN I HAS RECON, I decided to post it here and on the other forum, (Me as Mugia's XBL Gold ran out a while.)

It's called "aMaze-ing" (lame pun) and is supposed to be played with gametype "Labyrinth"

Hope everyone enjoys this one, it took quite some time.

Catwalk is a new map that has a clean layout, and its symmetrical structure makes it perfect for objective games like multi-flag and assault. The weapons are balanced, and competitive play is recommended for this map. The map consists of two bases- each with a man canon and a side path. The side path provides a much safer route, and there is plenty of cover for those who prefer the stealthy approach. The man canon leads directly to the catwalks. Although this is a much quicker route, it is definitely more vulnerable. The catwalks do however provide elevation, which can be helpful when assaulting the opponents base. On the far side of the map is a room connecting the catwalks and the lower area. This map is recommended for 4-12 players, but it easily suits any party size. It is also excellent for any game type.

Lockout II
When supplies of the UNSC were slim, High Command ordered the place they called "Lockout" to be reconstructed as a training facility for new recruits just entering the battlefield. This map is not for the weak hearted as it is very complex to move and jump about, unlike any map you have seen before. Ready for any gametype you can think of. If you fall, you have no choice but to go through the tele-portals of death...enjoy.

Please rate and post a comment for me on Bungie once you try this out, I think everyone that knows H2 Lockout will appreciate this one.

Subject: Quarantine, Construct Reimagined

Quarantine is a remake of Construct that focuses upon objective gametypes. The map has been modified to make the area around the sword feel more base like, and the spawn points for teams and objects have been modified to make the map more focused on attack and defend gametypes. CTF, especially one flag, assault, territories, and infection are great on the map, and king of the hill and oddball are fun as well. Boxes have been placed to form a "bunker" for the defending team, and a grav lift has been added to allow crafty players on the offense to enter the base through the sniper tower. Increasing the gravity of the flag, bomb, and oddball carriers, as well as the zombies, improves the game. Here is the link, try it out.

Quarantine

This map works best with two teams consisting of three to six members each.
