My family likes to play Slayer with no shields and BR's, but I made a Foundry map for it where the over-shield power-ups are replaced with "Kevlar" power ups that give you 300% damage resistance for fifteen seconds. Kinda makes the game more intense, and more frustrating.
There is also one I made is (probably common) slayer with only spartan lasers. It helps us train in using them.
The third one is more unique, and was made by my good friend, Mr. McGruder. It is played on Rat Race or any circuit-like map. It is meant to be played with two people, but it can be played with more.
No shields,
No power ups,
Infinite ammo,
Regenerating grenades,
It's called Tag. One player meanders around the map, and is permitted to use any weapon on the map. This person is IT. The other players get on mongooses and drive around the map, and are not permitted to fire on anyone, but are allowed to try and splatter the person who is IT. If the IT kills another player, he must get onto a mongoose and begin driving around the map, the deceased becoming IT when he respawns. If a multi-kill happens, the first one who died becomes IT. If the IT dies, he is still IT.
For anyone to win, they have to either splatter the IT, or the IT must find a way to force another player to fall off his mongoose, and the IT must destroy that mongoose, WITHOUT killing the driver.
In addition to being IT, anything can be used as a weapon. ANYTHING. Turrets, mines, even other vehicles. Even if you ram another person off the map and die with them, it counts. Suicides do not really matter here. However, to make the game fair. The IT must be within reach of the mongoose (so if you plan on hopping on the piping above the track, don't think on it).
As you can assume, this game can get lengthy, but so far, the people I played it with thought it was fun. Not a bad way to spend time. You can get some interesting kills from this game.
I'll try and get my map variants up tomorrow.
