Suicide Jail

Basically.. its team slayer on last resort map minimized. See i took a bunch of open containers making spawn points in a maze kinda... I advise you not to try and escape out of jail, for you will be tellyed to an isolated place where you will be pushed on to kill yourself.

Subject: Hell's Alley (version 1)
 • gamertag:
 • user homepage:
 • last post: 01.01.0001 12:00 AM PDT

This is a Map Variant that is intended to work with all current default gametypes:

- Detailed Map Synopsis (including screencaps) on the file link post, but here is the distilled version:
http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=16285367

-----------------------------------

Hell's Alley
Hell's Alley is designed to be an "urban warfare" style map, with 3 main "roads" that trisect the foundry space perpendicular to direction of the "bases." Hell's Alley, the shortest route between the opposing bases (for team objective game variants) is also the most dangerous, as every 3 minutes the Alley becomes "hot" (fills with fusion coils purposefully places to "clear" the Alley as a simulated air strike), making teamwork, cover/spot and time/situational awareness even more important.

To balance this environmental danger, a significant number of the power weapons are located here (Rockets, Shotgun, Shield Drain)

Keeping with "urban" warfare, weapons are available but not overly abundant, placing a great emphasis on asset management (watching your Ammo and Securing the "power weapons" on the map).

========================================
Ideal game variant: Any default game type or similar game variants (should also work well with SWAT style game variants)
Ideal Number of players: 4+
Number of Teams for Team based games: 2

Subject: zombie map with timed events

3 minutes remaining zombie map V2.2, a zombie map with timed events that sets this map aside from the rest.

Instead of copying everything into this forum all of the info on the map, and the map download can be found HERE. the gametype that works the best with the map is right HERE
Simple rundown of the map, again read the map description on the first hyperlink. humans start on one side of the wall armed with magnums, smgs and can pick up the few weapons with limited ammo on the map at the beginning of the round. zombies start on the other side of the wall that is inaccessible to humans and launch themselves over the wall with mancannons. humans get a small base to fend off the zombies until 2 minutes and thirty seconds into the round, when a bridge spawns linking the small base to a previously inaccessible weapons cache where the remaining humans can fend off the zombies from. the bridge spawns 2.5 min into the game and then staircase of boxes spawns 3 minutes into the game, giving the humans a little bit more time to prepare for the attacks to come. its best to actually see this type of thing happen in action instead of trying to describe it, ill post a video up soon so you can see how it works in action, but i have pictures that show the level fro beginning to the end of the round and how the map is layed out. this is version 2.2 of the map, i didnt want to post the original versions of the map until i had it just right.

best with 8-16 players

Halo 2

You've seen almost all of the mainstream sports being almost perfectly replicated in forge. Now here comes a less known but wildly played arcade classic, altered for Halo 3 of course: Skee Ball. Featuring it's own automatic ball return system and 3 scoring zones (Sign A=2 Points, Sign B=1 Point, and Gutter=0 Points.) This map is sure to keep you entertained for days.

"Nothing is true. Everything is Permitted"

Zombie Defense - A variant of of the map High Ground , this map aims to encapsulate the feeling of a last stand against a zombie attack. The fortification at the crest of the hill has been redesigned, including a large number of turrets, and various other weapons caches. The front of the fortification has also been barricaded off at both enterances, so it will require a small amount of hacking and slashing ( Through the zombie's melee attacks ) to make passage through. However, it's also possible for the defenders to damage their own base through use of explosives, so be careful! It's a love / hate relationship.

This map is paramount on Teamwork , these zombies are tough! You'll often find yourself making distractions, asking for help, or begging the zombie to stop chasing you! (It's hilarious when you can hear someone limbering after you saying "Braaains!")

Here is the link to download Zombie Defense

Unbreakable - This variant provides a enemy where one shot isn't going to bring it down, the zombies are slow; at first, you may think to yourself "It's a sitting duck!" , however, the zombies are very resiliant to damage, they have a 4x Overshield, and are considerbly quick to shield recharge.. It's going to take a lot of firepower to take this down. Just remeber, everything has a weakness , it's up to you to find it... (snickers.)

Once you've killed a zombie, you're nicely rewarded with a + 10 score bonus.

Should all your fellow survivors fall, becoming infected themselves you'll turn into the "Last man standing" as you are proberly aware, however, as a reward for staying alive this long gives you are give a few perks! Firstly, a nice + 10 to your score. Isn't that nice? Secondly, your general attributes have been changed, you turn Gold in recoginition of your survial talent. You are now able to run quicker, jump higher and are more resilent to damage! So that's about one extra swing a zombie has to do to you, it makes a difference, really!

Here is the link to download the Unbreakable game type.

~ Thank you for reading about my map and variant, I hope you download it and get a lot of fun and use out of it!

Thanks again.

Classic Map: Warlock
Same as the Halo 2 version down to weapons, grenades, and respawns. I got tired of unplayable version and spent all weekend making my favorite from Halo 2. It's pretty solid. Its set up for slayer (spawns) if you want to play CTF or other gametypes you'll have to edit the spawns the way you like. This map is ideal for 2 - 8 players (2 teams).

Thanks and Enjoy!

"Nothing is true. Everything is Permitted"

I know how frustrating it can be to go unnoticed, so i'll reply. Let's see. Did you want a link to your map? If so this is what you must do.

First make sure it's in your File Share

Second make sure you make a thread about it, you can do this from the same page as your file share on Bungie.net

Third, write somthing about it

Forth, come back to this post and write up your description, get the link URL from the File share page, and link it like this

[ url]http://your.game.type. - That will give the link as you would find it at the top of your screen.

You can alternatively do it like this, this is called a "named hyperlink"

[ url=http://your.game.map]this will be the blue font displayed to like for the link

NO SPACES BETWEEN THE BRACKETS.

I hope this has helped.

Infection Site:

Original Map: Foundry
Ideal Gametype:: UNSC Terror
Major Changes:: Well.. Everything. I ripped everything out of the map, and then figured I could make an interesting infection map. I started out by walling off one of the alcove-type sides of the map, to create a sort of "last stand" area for Humans. Using a few boxes and some walls, I made it so you can get out with a couple grav lifts, and once you're out, return is impossible. That being said, there is no ammo in the playing field, all of the weapons are contained in the starting zone, and ammunition is quite limited. After toying around with the map a bit, I figured I could do better, so I set it up so that 3 minutes into the match, limited amounts of ammunition spawn around the map.. If you can survive. A UNSC weapon drop, if you will.

On the subject of the map, it's a war zone, basically. A lot of items around the map are upturned, flipped, twisted and strewn. It looks like hell broke loose, and to be honest, it did. Surprisingly enough, the random placement of these items took me longer than I expected. Also, there is a little hidden weapon stash on the map. The teleporter is tricky to get to, and the zombies can probably get to it, if you can. Also, it malfunctions from time to time, and may simply drop you back onto a different spot on the map.

UNSC Terror:

Original Gametype: Infection
Ideal Map: Infection Site
Major Changes: Pretty much everything, again. I wanted to balance this out nicely without dipping into the typical zombie weapon stash, but it turns out there's a reason the Energy Sword is so used. It's probably the best. So I did a bit of compromise. The Alpha Zombie carries a shotgun and an energy sword, as well as being damage resistant and fast, to a point. Also, he is invisible. The minor zombies all carry swords and magnums, and benefit from a lighter version of the Alpha's resistance and speed. Other than that, everything is normal, until there is a Last Man Standing. He has the same damage resistance as the Alpha, as well as overshields, increased regen rate, and a minor shield leech. He is also as fast as the Alpha, jumps higher, has infinite ammo, and does more damage than a typcial human. I thought it would be nice to set up the gametype so that the game doesn't turn into "First person to reach the Last Man Standing wins".

War on Iraq:

-One of the most fun games+map
-GREAT for any amount of people
-Iraq (the map) is on foundry and it contains 2 bases (one attacking and one defending) with many secrets and so many good sniping spots and great hidden ares like outside of foundry, in the ceiling, etc.
-EVERYONE i played with LOVED it
-War (the game variant) actually goes great on any map. You start with an assault riffle and a magnum, and the custom power-up traits are simply amazing.
-VERY ADDICTING!!!!

Rebound, a Re-imagination of Snowbound
Designed with Symmetrical-arena style slayer play in mind, Rebound takes elements of Snowbound that previously turned the map into an interior camping battle, like the Shotgun, and awards both teams a Shotgun in their respective bases. Weapon sets have been made close to identical on both sides of Snowbound in an attempt to remove the tendency of players to crouch camp underneath. This map is ideal for 2-10 players.

District Plaza
Designed with Symmetrical-competitive style Team Slayer in mind. District Plaza got rid of Foundry's grenade spamming mayhem and turned it into an organized symmetrical map(with plenty of Br's). And instead of the snipers being way out in the combat area, each team gets a sniper rifle at the top of their respective bases. Weapon placements are identical, and the re-spawn times of the weapons have been tuned just right. District Plaza is compatible with all game-types, but I would prefer Team Slayer or Territories. This map is perfect for 4-10 players.
