Sounds like assault.

My gametype and map is on Valhalla. It's called Sniper assault (couldn't think of anything else)
The attackers spawn on the very top of each base and the bomb is on the beach base with sniper rifles and a missile pod for each base. There are mongooses on the base before the man cannon. The defenders spawn in the middle with a stack of crates with the bomb plant on top. Heaps of defensive equiptment, and splazers and rockets. And lots of vehicles. A few hidden things, don't want do spoil it, but i'd really like people to check it out and test it for me, as I don't have anyone to test it with at this point in time. Submit the review to this forum thread please, it would be a great help to know its flaws so i can fix it up. Thanks.

Thunderdome

Overview
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Symmetrical Team Based Foundry Map. Ideal for TEAM based Slayer, King of the Hill, Oddball and Territories. Due to Spawn points and base setup, this is not a great map for FFA or other game types.

2 Identical bases, with Armories and a single turret each. Level is designed to discourage players from returning to base (or reaching opponents base) after they leave (it's not impossible, but you have to make an effort to get there). 'Fighting' area is basically a 4 quadrant arena with an outside ring. Access from the outside ring to each of the 4 quadrants is via shield doors. The 4 fighting quadrants are split with a unique 4 way shield door (the 'hill' here can be fun).

There are 2 sniper perches in the outside ring, and a sword above the 4 way shield door. Both are risk/reward situations. The sniper perches have NO cover and the sword has fusion coils to avoid.

A truly must play....

Pit Tau Upsilon

I have noticed that Halo 3 so far lacks a variety of small maps. So I made an extremely small arena built for 2-6 people: Pit, but it is built for most all gametypes. The map only has 5 weapons, no powerups, no grenades, nothing else except gametype specific objects. It is arranged as a box with an open box on each wall containing a power weapon (Shotgun, Sword, Flamethrower, and Grav Hammer) and one open box in the floor containing the Rocket Launcher. Note that the only way up from the rocket spawn at the bottom of the pit is via the destroyable grav lifts...

I've played a few different gametypes on this, but I have found that either Juggernaut or Free For All Slayer works the best in this enclosed quarters map. My favourite settings for free for all games can be found here.

Cliff of Death is a suspended gladatorial arena above the cliffs of Rat's Nest.

Cliff of Death combined with the Gladiator Hill game variant, is an amazingly fast 'n' fun gaming experience. Players must control the moving hill whilst fending off opponents and dodging the Flying Crates Of Certain Doom! tm. Recommended players 2-8.

Aerial King - Think you can out-fly me?

This map variant of Sandtrap is best used with my custom king of the hill variant. Hills in this map are situated hundreds of meters from the ground suspended in mid-air. How the hell am i going to get up there? You may ask but fear not the map is filled to the brim with aircraft and if your unlucky enough not to get to one first then take a mongoose to a Wraith or Scorpion and take down the other team or grab weapons from a huge stash and both bases and unleash hell on banshees and hornets trying to score points. BattleField
This map is built for the following game types: CTF, Slayer, Team slayer, and assault. It works best with 6-16 players. Each team spawns with 1 hornet, 1 scorpion, 1 banshee, and 1 warthog gauss (there are also the mongooses in the elephants.) One team has two teleporters, one that is out in the open that leads to where the rocket launcher usually spawns in Sandtrap. What there is in that area, you'll have to play to find out. The other teleporter is hidden and leads to a great sniping/spartanlasering area. Now you may all think that since one team has two teleporters, the other team is weak. I placed a custom power-up behind the other teams elephant along with a gravity hammer and a rocket launcher. So that pretty much evens out the two teams.

Have you Finished the Fight?

Here is a My Remade Sandtrap Map. It's Called Remnant, and it is more than just a vehicle heavy version of Sandtrap. Instead of two normal Warthogs per base, there is one normal 'Hog and a Guass Warthog. Each base also has both types of tanks, and both aircraft types. The Missle Pods were moved into each of the respective team's Elephants. The more defensive base has a machinegun nest, a Prowler replacing the Chopper, a Rocket Launcher. The offensive base has two trip mines, a custom power-up, a radar jammer, and Ghost instead of a Mongoose. This is a very large map, requiring at least 10 players. It can be played with Team Slayer, Territories, Capture the Flag and other team or objective based games.

Think about this guys

Kidnapp

a map similar to the last part of sierra 117 where you have to rescue johnson, but it should include more underground tunnels and multiple ways to get to that room where johnson is. They should also make a gametype where you have one team trying to rescue the hostages and the other team trying to stop them.Then if the rescue team makes it to the room they have to escape using whatever means necessary to a random location. Also the hostages should be bots so that the humans playing don't have to wait. To gain full points all hostages have to make it out alive, say each one was worth 5 points and there are 3 of them and you have to get to 30. The kidnappers get points by killing them if they escape or if you play that variant, the time runs out. There also shoud be a variant where there is a time limit and if you don't escape within that limit the hostages die. The gametypes should be called rescue

Background
The idea for this map came to me in a dream last night strangely enough. I had the idea of two caged flag areas looking straight at each other with two snipers battling for supremacy. In the middle is a desolate and empty plain, in which nobody would be stupid enough to venture into....maybe...

Layout
The map focuses on two fort structures seperated by a large open area; No Man's Land. Turrets and sniper rifles punish anyone who ventures out there, but a rocket launcher rewards those brave enough. The 'forts' that each team owns are long and tall structures with many routes into the flag/bomb room. The safest route to the enemy base is to run through the side corridors, with a stop off at each team's armoury, and a sword at the half way point. Although there are two machine gun turrets per base, their effectiveness in the base areas is limited by the tight corners and jumps. The map is set up to play all gametypes, though some work better than others.

Why can't red team and blue team just talk it out?

Please check out my map, Foundry 2fort, and its territories variant, 2fort c. post. The map starts 2 teams off in their respective bases, each with two territories that dont lock. Try to capture your enemies' territories while holding on to your own!

(The zombies can knock down the boxes if they hit em a lot with gravity hammers)

This is a two team based map with two central towers in the middle of the map. Each tower is armed with a few weapons and a turret. Teams spawn in opposite corners, with a cache of weapons to choose. Gain access to the center area and control your tower. Works best with the Foundry Duels game type

Basic Slayer variant, but with spawning magnums, lower gravity, spawn overshields, and poor camo.
Also has indestructible vehicles on by accident, will try to fix that, it creates infinite turrets =o

Area 50-117
Best for 4-12 players, CTF, Team Slayer, Assault, Lone Wolves, and then anything else you enjoy. This map has a lower level to run around free on both sides. This is possible because the whole second level is created from floating boxes, etc. Dividing these two sides is a wall straight down the middle with "4 Ways" of getting across.

Each side has mongoose and ghost. The upper level consists of one "leap of faith cage" on each side of the wall(4 total on map). There is one power weapon(Rockets - w/no extra clips b/c that would be too much) at the end of the middle wall on top of it. One OverShield in the hole in the wall, one ActiveCammo floating above the 1st "leap of faith cage," one CoverShield on top of the wall in a double box, and various weapons spread across the map(BR, AR, Mauler, SMG, Brute Shot. I'd also like to add...there are two poacher cages where you access the second level/floor via the "4TH WAY."

Also FYI, there is an elevated wall in front of each side's base...and two "hiding cages" embedded in the hovering floors. I spent many many hours on the details of this map to make it perfectly symmetrical, so I hope you enjoy...I know I will. Beef Unerneath
Default settings on Narrows, but your jail cell is where the Active Cammo and Over Shields used to be. There is one BR in each jail to shoot at the other team across the way. Teammates must free their fallen comrades by shooting the fusion coils that sit on the Receiver Nodes at opposite base. Simple map, very effective, and great with CTF cause you get free at the other team's base...so payback is a...

Description:
A map with vehicles AND zombies equipped with hammers. The humans start out in ghosts and need to kill the zombies before they get too close and...
A nice camo will spawn in 30 seconds from the start, so humans should know what to expect.. or not to expect when they get slammed to the wall out of nowhere and become one of the zombies.
Tripmines can be placed by the zombies too. So humans: Watch where you go!

For some AMAZING hammering fun!
