Bridge Crossing & BC Mission

Plays like the "Bridge Crossing" mission from Americas Army for PC.

A variant of "Narrows" with it's own gametype.

The defending team is on one side, the attacking on the other. The attackers try to successfully get to the defender's flag. Once getting the flag, the other flag is very nearby and you only need to walk a few steps to score it, to give the effect that you only need to go to the defender's base to win. You never need to come back to your base. Damage resistance is on and there are no shields.

It's very fun. Also, don't try to use the mancannons. No, seriously, don't, I doubt you'd like the surprise.

Oh yeah, and you get 2 lives per round. I know it would be better with 1 life, but the newbies might get bored/angry if they went out so easily. If you feel you should make it 1 life only, go ahead.

"War. War Never Changes."

Bioshock

Please let me know what you think about this. It is a variant on VIP where the VIP is pink in color and the "little sister" and the other members of the team are slower moving, yet powerhouse monsters named "big daddies". Weapon set is similar to Bioshock weapons (Little sisters are more or less helpless, big daddies can use the rivit gun-aka brute shot or zip around with a sword, humans have assault rifle and pistol).
Feel free to post on that thread for improvements...or PM me. This could be a great variant if you all help me figure out what needs to be fixed!

Omaha Beach
Last Resort
This took one full day to complete in entirety. Red team spawns on the sea wall with 4 turrets, a sniper, BRs, a shotgun, and a hidden explosive set. Blue spawns in the ocean with some BRs floating up, some nades littered on shore, a sniper, and various boxes and large containers for cover. There is debris floating up to shore and fusion cores/mortars constantly hailing down from above and wrecking that crate you were using for cover. Oh, then theres red team trying to kill you. Your objective? To get up on the seawall and give the red team that swift kick to the ass. The most intense custom game ive ever played. 10 players is ideal. Two rounds to 50 kills. If you choose to download this, go to my file share here and download "D-Day" , the gametype that perfects this already great gametype.
The gametype is just a Team Slayer with no starting grenades (I tried it with starting grenades = utter mess), even though there are a few scattered on the map. The starting weapon is SMG(Thompson) and you have a pistol as your sidearm.
The map is currently at 4 stars and 1675 downloads. The gametype also has at least 1k downloads.

Fun for the whole family!

Map - Sticky Guardian

A small map with only sticky grenade spawns.

Game Variant - Team Sticky

Only sticky grenade kills earn points, with sprees gaining bonuses.

How can you go wrong with explosives? Especially if they are attached to organisms?

The map is clear except for Plasma grenades and Spike grenades. The spawn points are grouped to start in (2) teams, then to spawn in strategic points on top of grenade spawn locations.


Map - Death Duel

A small map where (small) teams spawn in a room downstairs, where there are plenty of weapons to choose from. Teleporters lead to the top level of the map where the action in the King of the Hill circle is.

Game Variant - Death Duel
File Number: 5826731
A King of the Hill variant where people outside the h ill are invincible, and can deal no damage to other players. Players must enter the hill to earn points with kills, and no points for time in the Hill.
This gametype exposes one bug in Halo 3 which affects gameplay slightly. If a player discovers it, they must agree not to take advantage of it.

An update to an old classic, taking advantage of all the new items in Halo 3. Extra cover and traps mean a more balanced match than the slaughter matches of Halo 2.

PowerTower is a slayer based game where a turret is mounted atop a hill/tower with spawns on the tower and around the tower's perimeter. The assaulting team will attempt to take control of the tower from the team controlling it. Weapons are typically only shotguns plus the one turret. Shields are disabled to ensure the turret is devastating.


Map - Gauss War

Game Variant - Gauss War

Matchmaking in Halo 3 noticeably leaves out one weapon in the Halo universe, the Gauss Cannon. An elegant weapon of grace and form, with a touch of insta-death.

This map has a staging area where gunners and drivers can mount up in safety before entering the playing field. Man-cannon equipped shield door entrance and exits allow one way flow for less confusion, and deter bad behavior. Hogs are insta-spawn when one gets blown up. The several levels add some interest for the driver.

One assassin must attempt to kill everybody else in the game, without getting killed himself. Each player only has one life, including the Assassin, so players must stick together in order to not get picked off one by one. This gametype forces people to work together as a team, trying not to get picked off by the assassin while making a lookout for him. Recommended playing with at least 4 people, and the more people the more stealthy the assassin must be.

*Keep in mind that it is not technically a zombies game, when the assassin infects a human, the human lost his only life so there is still going to be one assassin to kill the rest of the team.

Assassin traits:
- Well Cloaked
- 125% speed
- 75% gravity
- Starts with a magnum, but can choose from a variety of weapons placed near his spawn (using map HGAssassination)
- 75 foot enhanced radar

Human traits:
- Normal shields, health, movement.
- No radar at all.
- Start with an assault rifle and smg, can choose from a few weapons in their base.
- Friendly fire is off.

Other settings:
- 4 rounds, each 4 minutes long.
- Round ends when time runs out, the assassin is killed, or the assassin kills the entire team.
- The next assassin is chosen randomly.

I have a narrows map, except It's explosiony. I used the man' cannons to shoot explosion barrels, and crates out every few seconds. The explosion ones explode, But I have a gravity lift right below the man cannons, so 6 crates are shooting back and forth, with explosions all around. It's actually realy different game play, when you take the man cannons out.

Crazyball
a fun oddball game. cannot cause damage without ball. one hit kills with ball. people without ball are faster and invisible while people with ball are not quite as fast but have markers over their heads

RUN LIKE HELL!!
This map variant is specifically designed to be played with the game variant "Sand Zombies" (an infection game type), and is located on Sandtrap. The humans spawn at either base, which is heavily populated with vehicles. The zombies spawn a significant distence away from both human bases. The map has obstecles placed in the middle to limit the humans driving paths. Great with 16 people, but may have as low as 6 (however, not recomended).

Sand Zombies
This game variant is designed for play on the map, "RUN LIKE HELL!!". Humans spawn with shotgun and battle rifle but have limited ammo. The alpha zombie has a gravity hammer, and all other zombies have swords. Zombies have no shields but run at 300% speed, which is about as fast as a mongoose/warthog. The last man has 4x overshield, which doesn't help too much when your warthog is flipping through the air thanks to that alpha zombie. The humans MUST stay mobile for any chance of lasting more than a few seconds. Best with 16 people, but may have as low as 6 (however, not recomended).

no no no no youve got it all wrong......a guy with a rocket launcher stands at some point and a guy with a hammer stands 100ft in front of him. Te dude with the rocket launcher fires at the hammer guy and he has to try to hit the rocket out of the air, and if sucessful, the hammer guy will run to the bases. This game is meant to be like a real base ball game with more than one batter so the guy on the base can run to 2nd or 3rd. And if the hammer guy misses the rocket and gets killed by it, its an automatic out. I dont know about you but me and my friends came up with this when we hit a rocket out of the air with hammer. It was funny. :D

mongoose pinball on sandtrap.
played with the gametype.FFA, all gravity hammers but pistol start and mongeese.some people have mongeese and some are on foot. the hammers send the mongeese flying so with a lot of ppl it can be pretty fun. only killing is assasination but u decide if u want killing allowed.pm me if u want any changes done. my fileshare

Dodge Ball

Objective

you have to stick the opposite team with plasma grenades and spike grenades those nades are all overthe arena. you cannot cross the middle line. their is 1 bubble shield in the middle that spawns every min or so. you start w/ overshield so you dont get killed by nade explosions. i assure you this game is highly addicting and is REALLY fun (make sure you download sandtrap dodgey and dodgeball)

i made a gametype which i am currentyly calling cave wars until i think of a better name. it based in the caves underground in snowbound. all ways outside are blocked with crates, or anything unmovable. there are plenty of weapons and nades in both bases, and in the middle area, there are four grav-lifts which is really fun to have when fighting. you make someone move back into a gravlift and they are stuck until you finish them off. in the middle i also added 2 swords and 2 shotguns. its made for about 4-8 people. i still have yet to try it out with at least 4 people. i didnt add any grav hammers, turrets, or missale pods. there are two auto respawns outside, which i cant delete, but if you get stuck out there, the only way to get inside is to get killed by the auto-turrets and hope you get an inside spawn.

it is a really sweet map and i will be uploading it to fileshare as soon as i finish everything.

Speed Laser
Free for All and everyone has Lasers and Gravity Hammers with Rocket Launches on map. 4x over shields, super speed, low gravity, infinite ammo and grenades. Ive only been able to play with 3 other people (thats 4 total) and it could probably work with up to 8 but it would be crazy. Don't attempt to play it on a map that you can fall off of (ie Narrows) because it doesn't work so well with the low gravity and super speed. Enjoy

thats sort of like a gametype i made. i made one with 75% gravity, 300% speed, gravity hammers, shotguns and snipers. everone had active camo and no shields. it was CRAZY. i tried it with 7 people including me.

Kill the opposing team on the back of the mongeese. first to 15 kills wins

Hidden unbalanced weapons
If you look closely I have hidden weapons on each of the maps that if found would change the tide of a battle to one mans favor.

Snowbound (RACE)

The thread explains it in better detail.

It is basic Rocket Race VIP, but there are power cores and plasma batteries in 'hot spots' around the map. Unlike what the gametype says though, this map can support up to 6 teams.

Also, try not to piss of the guardians.

This map was made using the Snowbound Canvas map variant.

i had a big halo party with my friends and we made an oddball gametype where, there were 3 balls (its best on guardian) FFA, when you have the ball, you have 25% speed, 200% gravity, x4 overshields, extradamage, damge resistence, active camo, and no motion sensor. it is so fun. its on my freinds xbox, but im making it on mine and uploading it to fileshare

"Zombiebar" with "Happy Accidents" gametype

meant for large parties
Here is the description for my map "Zombiebar"

Starting weapons: Shotgun and Magnum
-Theres a base on the beach for the humans where they are pretty much pinned down.
-The base consists of 1 sniper tower and a low wall (crates) with some armament on it, there is 1 turret on the wall which never respawns because of balancing issues.
-Theres an overturned warthog next to de the base but debris and overwhelming zombies will stop you from dominating the map
-There are also other, practically unreachable vehicles, don't try to get them and stick to the base.

-There is one Starting point in the sniper tower, the person who spawns there should stick there for sniping kills.
- Once you get out of the sniper tower you do not get in
- The sniper tower can be overthrown by a sacrifical sweep with a zombie's sword.

- Bow chicka wowow

Sure wish that i could write something whitty and amusing in this.

SWORDS&HAMMERS is a game that i have tested with a max of 8 people. The rules are very, very simple. All you have is a sword and a grav hammer. Their are no weapons on map and supperspeed is enabled. this is a extremley high speed game that totally rules with 6+ players!!!

Possibly THE BEST D-Day Map Ever???
Yea, there are other similar maps out there, and Im not sayin that this is the best one. What I'm saying is that you should try it. 6+ players recommended.
Turrets rain their fire upon you as fuse coils crashed down on the beach. You can play two game types, 1 Flag or Alpha Zombie. Both of which are pretty good. The varients are likedon the D-Day BETA map page. So download it and have fun with it!
