Shadow Hunt

Map - Shadow Hunt
Gametype - Chasing Shadows

Description - In this Map and gametype the Zombies are actually shadows due to the lighting effects aswell as active camo, making them appear exactly like a shadow. It is hard to hit them so assault rifles are given to humans, the base on ghost town is fortified partially to stop floods of zombies, towers are put inside to give an advantage to the humans.

Overall a fun gametype with big parties, small parties are ok however the resistance on the zombies should be lowered depending on party size, look in post for gametype for my recommendations.

This gametype can be used for any map you can think of aslong as it contains the filters i have listed in the maps thread.

This map variant is called skibowl. its pretty rad and addicting. you try to hit the soccer ball with a grav hammer and aim for a series of holes in a target shape with different pointvalues. ever hole has a series of grav lifts that always move the ball back to the platform were you are standing on. if you somehow miss the target, have no fear! because there is a spare ball above you, simply break the pallet.

Subject: No Escape

No Escape
Setup
Forged Highground

The name "No Escape" comes from the 90's movie by that title that also starred Ray Liotta from the well known movie "Good Fellas". Anyway in the movie all the prisoners are dropped off on this deserted island instead of thrown in a prison. On the island there is only one weapon and the toughest guy has it, and it happens to be a laser gun. On this map choose infinite ammo and play with no grenades and BR starts or AR maybe even pistol starts its your pick. Also there are no vechicles. On the map there is the spartan laser in the tower with infinite ammo but is the only weapon on the map. I also put a bunch of walls throughout the map so you can have some cover if someone shoots at you with the laser.

I was thinking the spartan laser could be switched out with a fuel rod gun but might be to overpowering. Please give feedback on this map and dont just say it sucks and flame me tell me what could make the map varient better.

14 Pro made maps, I say that because most people have said that most of the maps look very professionaly done, another common comment is did bungie make this?

Check out Razor Bridge1.1 on Foundry. (Tagline: Live on the edge, or die in The Pit.)

This map is roughly symmetrical, and has 2 full bases made from scratch (with 3 levels each), connected at the top by very narrow Razor Bridges. If you fall off, you fall into The Pit and may be killed by flying Dumpsters.

On either side of The Pit are the "Turret Side," which has a Ghost and fuel rod gun, (among other things) and the "Sniper Side," which has the sniper rifle and overshield (among other things.) This map is awesome for Team Slayer, CTF, and Assault. The ideal number of players is 8-14 (2 teams.)

The Dead
Innovative and original infection map on Last Resort. The humans start out at the beach with very limited ammo and must make it to the base in the back of the map for protection and ammo. The zombies, however, spawn closer to the base, allowing them to hide in the base and wait or attack the humans head on as they attempt to travel to the base. Design elements such as closable gates and windows, barricaded entrances, vehicles, limited ammo, and a well designed gametype to go with the map all add to the experience. This map allows the freedom for both humans and zombies to play the map the way they want. Humans can use vehicles, hide, or attempt to secure the base in order to survive. The zombies can attack head on, wait in the base and ambush the humans as they enter, or they can sneak up on the humans and assasinate them. Teamwork and communication is essential. 6-10 players

This map is designed to go with the Apocalyspe gametype. The gametype is very different from other infection gametypes as it includes many original ideas. Humans die in 2 sword slashes, instead of one. This is balanced out with shields and increased speed for the zombies. Zombies can also board vehicles as an effective way to take out vehicles. Humans also have slowly regenerating shields to make it more difficult to survive. This gametype might be difficult to get used to for some, so give it a couple of good plays. People that give it a chance will end up enjoying it.

A body and soul, divided and whole, to achieve power beyond what all others hold.

These are my best three maps. The first one Testing Area 26 should remind you of Portals. It was made on Blackout. You fight in separated rooms that are connected by teleporters all set to the same channel. The second one is Zero-g Gun is a Foundry map. It uses a large cannon as a part of gameplay. It separates the map in half and all the neutral objectives sit in the barrel. The last one is a zombie map on Blackout. Gloomy and Juicy are turned on to create a very dark map. It is called Dead Deposit. I would like feedback on my maps so I can improve new ones. I have noticed that people download my non Blackout maps. Testing Area 26 can be considered something entirely new. Don't hate it since it is on Blackout.

Having trouble getting anyone to try this, so I'm posting it as many places as I can. Think its alot of fun, and has lots of potential, but I need some good feedback on how to make it better, and my friends can only do so much.

Ghost Ball
Type: Team Oddball Variant
You, as the ball carrier, have Poor Camo, and are colored white, thus are the "Ghost". You have no way point marker to enemies so you cannot be tracked. All players start with a shotgun as their only gun, but on the Ghost Ball Court are Sentinel Beams (Think Ghost Busters ^_^) The Ghost gets two points for each kill with the Insta-Kill ball. And enemy players get 1 point for each kill of the ball carrier.
Respawn:
When you respawn, you turn black, have no waypoint to anyone and move at 90% speed. Aswell as have only a 10 meter/ally only radar. This lasts for 15 seconds, but makes people think twice about who they're shooting. Each death adds 3 seconds onto your respawn counter, with 4 seconds being the default time.
Scoring: The scoring is again 2 points per kill as the Ball Carrier, 1 point for each time you kill the ball carrier. 10 points ends the round, with 2 rounds being the default, 3 easily set. (My friends thought getting to 30 points was kinda pushing it for attention spans). Scoring is the Sum of the Team.

Ghost Ball v1.5

Ghost Ball Court on The Pit
The Ghost Ball court consists of Sentinel Beams being placed for that classic Ghost Busters feel, aswell as two spartan lasers, but if you can keep the Ghost in sight long enough, good for you. Next comes the Ghost Traps.. err 2 power drains placed in the two blue rooms under the towers. 1 Flamethrower in the normal sword room for good measure. Warning to the unwise, that room is now also the Fusion Coil storage room. I also learned a few things from the Infection Weekend, and so there are now fusion coils placed under the walkways where people kept hiding to prevent Ghost Abuse. My favorite design aspects are the Teleporter wall and the Barrel Barriers. Finally, right near the Ball Spawn are a Radar Jammer and Flare, so the ghost can get away at first.

Play Ghost Ball, and tell your friends about it. I know it sounds like selfish self promotion, but this is seriously a fun game and map. I'd be happy to see what other kinds of maps people play this on.

Ghost Ball is intended for 2-3 teams of 3 or more people.

I like Halo, I like it alot.

This map is Safe-House and is perfect if you like the infection game variant it has you and your team defending the one Safe-House left. If you and your team can last the zombie invasion, you pull out with the win. good luck! This map variant is meant to be played with the containment game variant which can be found in my file share along with other cool and really fun maps.

This is definately the best map that I have made thus far. It uses some tricks like overlaping items. The map has four main bases with a rocket tunnel above the map. I spawned the teams so it took equally as long to get to each of the power weapons. It is extremely balanced and it is a very easy map to get used to. I payed extreme attention to weapon placement and weapon spawn times. Bad weapon placement can really make a good map bad so I tried to put mine over the edge. This map is great for all gametypes but my favorite gametype on this map is slayer it plays pretty well. PLEASE COMMENT ON THE MAP!

This gametype was created for those of us who want the scariest Infection game possible. This is as close to 28 Days Later as you can possibly get. No shields, no radar, no weapon pickups, no grenades, just you and your trusty magnum versus the undead that run faster than you yet are armed with plasma pistols (the least lethal weapon possible). This means that these zombies are running at you full speed to deliver the killing blow with their fist to make you one of them. This gametype has proven to be extremely fun, but download the additional maps I've made to take full advantage of this gametype such as Valhella, Falldown, Pestilence Pit, etc.

A festering pool for the infected. The remains of a once liveable area is all that is left after the infection swept through like a flood :) . The last survivors put up temporary barricades that could provide that crucial second needed to hold back the undead, that or try your luck in an underground hallway lined with explosives...one well placed bullet and every unlucky undead will be sky high. How long can you hold out?

Recommended Players: 4-16 (Again, the more bodies....well....the more bodies)

Chaos and destruction are rampant from the results of a virus gone wrong. This map I made is eeriely similar to one featured in the Living Dead playlist, but the date this map was made is proof that this one is truly the original!

I have now added a third map to the Zombie Breakout series, so here is an edited version of my previous post talking about the series..

My friend Devin(DrGrimReefer) and I made the first variant of Zombie Breakout, but since then I have made a second and third one. The game type is Here, and the maps are Version 1, Version 2, and Version 3. The maps have detailed descriptions on their posts.

It is best suited for 4-12 players, but sometimes its fun to just see how long you and a friend can prolong a round, by racking up the kills
