Deadly Foundry

Spartans never die.

Last Stand (map) is a map designed for infection, the humans have stocked weapons while the zombies come over the wall inevidably anihallating all.

Last Stand (gametype) gives strong advantages towards the humans. The last man standing and the alpha zombie are the strongest.

The Fort (map) is a symectrycal map with hidden rooms and hallways with powerful weapons hidden all over.

Those are all my maps if you can please leave comments. Thanks.

Back in the later part of April I got banned from XBL for inappropriate content on my profile. So this is the map that I made during that time. It works with all gametypes and is a load of fun. Hope you all enjoy. :)

Subject: The Official and Only Halo 3 User-Created Gametypes/Maps Thread

I've made some maps and game types that go with each other quite well. There are a few problems involving your mongoose getting blown away. I managed to solve the need for honor rules by making it so that each team member is extremely slow.

I've split them into four game varient sections and maps.

Maps
I've currently made two maps but i'm considering making some more. There are eight mongooses with two spawn points either side for each team member. The Maps are similar to blank canvas but with a few extras.

-Mongoose Trap - Made on Sandtrap, a few grav lifts are added to spice things up a bit.
-Mongoose Gorge-Made on Valhalla, a few grav lifts are added for fun.

Game Varients
These game varients work on either map. All Players save for the juggernaut have 25% speed to prevent people just walking around the map. They always spawn next to a mongoose spawn.

Multi-Team
These game varients contain small teams of two and up to eight teams. They all have swords and regenerating grenades. I've included every game type.

-Mongoose Joust - Team slayer, two players per team. Infinite ammo and regenerating grenades. First to 50 kills wins.

-Mongoose Infection - Two zombies start the round. Zombies have grenades and swords. They too can get on mongooses. Two points for being last man standing.

-Mongoose Oddball - Teams of two. Up to eight teams. Hold the ball for as long you can.

-Mongoose King - Teams of two. Up to eight teams. Stay in the hill for aslong as you can.

-Mongoose Juggernaut - The Juggernaut is the only one on foot. No friendly fire, thus preventing weakening before killing the juggernaut as occurs in MM.

-Mongoose - VIP - Teams of two. Up to eight teams. Kill the VIP but on mongooses.

Trick Multi-Team
These game types involve brute shots and lasers. They were inspired by an amazing montage after me and a friend tried it out and found it not only fun but spectacular. Nothing else has changed.

Mongoose Trick Slayer - Similar to the joust only with lasers and brute shots. You may even want to try pulling a trick then shooting in mid-air. Offers many many double kills.

Mongoose Trick Joust - Similar to joust only with the laser being replaced by a sword.

Mongoose Trick Infection - I decided to leave the laser out of this game type for the reason that it would be impossible for the zombies. You still get brute shots however so you can perform some death defying tricks over zombies.

Mongoose Trick Oddball - The same as Mongoose Oddball only with a weapon exchange.

Mongoose Trick King - The same as Mongoose King only with a weapon exchange.

Mongoose Trick Juggernaut - The Juggernaut is still on foot. Weapons are exchanged.

Mongoose Trick VIP - The same as Mongoose VIP only with a weapons exchange.

Big Team
These Require teams between 6-8 but only two teams may participate in these games. These Game Varients contain swords and regenerating grenades.

Mongoose Flag - Large teams must capture their opponents flag. Five captures wins. Keep a team mate with you.

Mongoose Bomb - Large teams must plant their bomb at their opponents bases. Fairly easy to grasp game.

Mongoose Land - Similar to flag rally which rarely appears to be known. Territories must be controlled at the end of the game in order to get the points. They can swap hands throughout.

Trick Big Team
As with the other games this is just a simple weapon swap from sword to brute shot and laser.

Mongoose Trick Flag - Tricks can be used to gain an advantage in accessing the opponents base. Simple weapon swap has taken place.

Mongoose Trick Bomb - Take your bomb to their base without getting killed by a laser. Simple weapon swap has taken place.

Mongoose Trick Land - Territories must be controlled until the end of the round. Simple weapon swap has taken place.

Thanks for looking at this or reading it. =)

Cabin Fight
My map is an infection map based on the "Cabin Fight" section of Resident Evil 4. The humans have to work together in order to survive the zombies which are trying to break in, both upstairs and downstairs.

If the humans run out of ammo, they can find some more, but they'll have to go outside to get it, risking the dreaded infection....

Gametypes
In both gametypes, both zombies and humans have shields which do not recharge. Zombies are weak, and humans will take 2 hits to die. Killing a zombie is worth 1 point, infecting a player is worth 2. The last man standing earns 1 extra bonus point, and suicides/betrayals have a harsh penalty of minus 5.

Both gametypes are 3 rounds long, each of 5 minutes. Zombies are chosen randomly:

Las Plagas: 50% of players will start the round as zombies, using the energy sword as a weapon. They're weak, so they shouldn't be too much of a problem, right?

Dr. Salvador: 25% of the players will start the round as Dr. Salvador. He has more health than normal zombies (he takes 6 magnum headshots to kill, normal zombies only take 4) and he can kill you in just one direct hit with his gravity hammer. Anyone he infects will become just an ordinary zombie.

stone circle death match this is the map varient used with the game that i made called gravity war basicly what the map is is a closed in circle about 3 boxes high with a roof on it, the circle is not really that big witch is what makes it perfect for the game, it can go any where from 2-10 players.
now the game is the best part, you spawn with a hammer and a sword, you have 50% gravity, and 200% speed, you also have recharging gernades, now its a really simple game but its really fun,
i would appricheate it if you tryed it out.

Antarctic Chill expands on the greatness that was Lockout and provides new flow to what is now Blackout. I have spent many hours tweaking Respawn points and weapon respawns.

Map Description

I started with a Blackout Canvas, then returned all weapons that spawn on the map to where they spawn on the default Blackout map. So if you have played Blackout before you will easily find your way to a familiar gun location. Now Ive added guns to the mix as well. A Needler sits dead center of the Helicopter pad, and anywhere a Plasma Rifle spawns Ive added an SMG for dual weilding. Im a big fan of the H2 Dual Weilding Combo which seems to have disappeared in Halo 3. The new walkways I have put on this map help you navigate without having to always take the obvious route from one point of the map to another. A Long Ramp connects from the Sword Spawn up to the new Turret Tower. Across from this Tower is a new Upper Elbow that follows the Lower Elbow to the upper lift platform. Continue from there and a New Rocket Platform (upper & lower) has been added creating a connection between the BR Tower and the upper lift platform. Man Cannons on the lower Rocket Platform, and next to the Sword spawn shoot you up to the top of the BR Tower making it harder to keep control of the top level. I have removed the Regenerator. Moved the Bubble Sheild here, also moved the Drainer here.

Gametypes:

FFA & Team Slayer - 1Flag / 1Bomb - Neutral Bomb - KotH (Mosh Pit & Crazy ) - Oddball

Other Screenshots

Rocket Tower
Rocket Spawn
BR Tower Man Cannons
Man Cannon Up From Sword to BR Tower
Back Side Long Ramp
Turret Tower
New Upper Elbow
Quick Lift from Lower Elbow to Upper Elbow
Low Platform

Now for the first little while you play on this map I would suggest changing your gametypes so that you have NO suicide penalty. You will fall off, it is inevitable, but only the first little bit while you are learning the new routes and how to use them effectivley. I have created a gametype Slayer AC that can be found in my Fileshare.

This map contains:

- 4 BRs
- 4 Carbines
- 1 Rocket ( Only has 1 Clip so use wisely )
- 1 Sniper
- 1 Sword
- 1 Shotgun
- 2 Maulers ( set to have long respawn times )
- 3 Plasma Rifles
- 3 SMGs
- 1 Needler
- 2 Brute Shots
- 1 Plasma Pistol
- 1 Magnum
- 1 Turret

I am always looking for people to play customs with so send me a Friend Request.
Enjoy.

Please send feedback. Gamertag: BORG k79

Destruction Eve:
A demolition derby map made by my friend CheeseJam. There is a interlocked circle of boxes in the middle of foundry with fusion coils and propane tanks exploding around and below it. Players must try to ram each other off the circle of boxes using the warthogs provided. Last man standing gets 1 point for that round. To make things more interesting, there is a bump in the middle of the circle that can either help you, or hurt you. Player limit 2-4.

Run and Dodge
Run for your life to the hill at the front of the hall. Beware and watch your back because if you don't, either the flying assorted objects will get you, or the other players will.

Meant for the gametype king of the hill with pistols and no player damage. also teams. There are fotos.

Revenge
A Infection gametype, Alpha Zombie can drive and use gernades,.. but can't kill. He may not be killed, but he is mostly harmless... unless he pushes you off a cliff or spys on you. Also, the Last Man Standing gets a power boost. Zombies have certan stranghts and weaknesses. The map is made. It's name is Zombie Town. It's in my File Share.

Hyper Slayer
4x oversheild, AR and Sword, fast-pased killfest, best with alot of people on a small map.

AWOOGA! AWOOGA! ABANDON SHIP!

Dodgeball - Both types.

After a few Ideas, I set about creating a dodgeball gametype/map, people were devided on how the scoring should take place, as a result of this, I have two ruletypes and two courts to play in, the rules and courts can be mix-n-matched however you see fit.

Dodgeball games are best played with teams of 3-8 people.

COURTS:
******************
The Standard Dodgeball Court is the same size as a Grifball court, with a wall down the middle keeping the teams apart, there are fusion coils and propane tanks near the wall to discourage campers, grenades at the rear left and right, and firebomb grenades near the wall.

Vantage points are situated at either side of the court to enable more accurate grenading.

Dodgeball Court
******************
The Hellpit dodgeball court is a lot smaller than the standard court, and has no wall to keep the teams apart, instead it had a massive pit, filled with all manner of explosive items and random debris to keep players in check.

Grenades are located at the front left & right of the playing area, Firebomb grenades are at the front centre of the playing area, and just behind them is a lone bubble shield.
Hellpit Court
******************
RULETYPES:
******************
The standard dodgeball rules, First team to 100 points wins, you get 1 point for a kill, and cannot lose points, betrayal booting is disabled.

All players begin with Brute Shots and Shotguns.
Standard Rules
******************
Elimination rules are pretty simple: last team alive wins the round.

Best of 5 rounds wins, Brute Shot & Shotgun Starts, Betrayal Booting is disabled.
Elimination Rules
******************
Leave comments in the respective threads, and et me know if you find a bug or glitch in the maps/gametypes too!

Subject: maze blaze!

running around in circles, chasing tails.

heres a map i recently made called maze blaze! the map is split into TWO parts: one half of the map is a brilliantly designed maze that twists and confuses, and to get through it, oyull also have to go through some little...."traps" that might test your timing and speed. the OTHER half of the map is completely different, consisting of sectioned off rooms with teleporters, with a trap teleporter leading to a death pit in EVERY room. luckily, there is a trick to avoiding the teleport, and successfully figuring the path out leads you to unlocking a power weapon that can greatly turn the tides of battle in YOUR favor. same goes for the maze side.

map goes best with MAZE BLAZE game type, which doesnt have any DRASTIC changes to the player's speed or gravity, but players move slower to encourage timing and running while going through traps.

played it with 4 people and 10 people and worked great

just dont tell the secret path ;)

http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=21801774- rules

alright as i mentioned earlier- noob at this so i don't know how to uplaod pics, but i have some screenshots on my profile of the territories

defenders start off either behind the deeping wall or inside the hornburg(right next to weapons)
there are minimal defense positions as the oncoming onslaught of attackers keeps defenders pinned down

attackers must well i don't want to insult your intelligence but they attack helms deep

they spawn on the far side of the map (foundry), the part that is inside, next to a a good supply of weapons and oversheilds. not enough oversheilds to make it unfair though

recommended to be played with big parties especially with friends so you can smite the opposing team whether it be the free people or the hand of saruman's army with well thought out tactics

send me any messages if needed enjoy =)

"Gravemind" Completely Original Map - Fully explorable - 475+ DL

Three Gametypes are available for this map, or it can simply be a fun free-for-all or team slayer. Perfect for 4 on 4 battles or more! Man Cannons carefully placed, in strategic locations, offer fast body movement around this map. Several methods of quick entry and exit into Gravemind keep players on thier toes and makes the map fair for both teams. There is absolutely nothing else I can add to the map, It won't let me - I've reached the limit!

Some Comments
Comments: This is one of the few best maps I've ever seen. Fully origonal and never even been thought of before! You really spent allot of time on this and it shows with the outcome! I usually don't download all the maps I review but this is way worth it! Can't wait to get a party goin with this, great job! Overall: 5/5
This map looks awesome NOTW22. Great concept. And the Gravemind looks like he does in Halo 2. Very cool. Queuing for download...
Comments: Great map! It is also a great idea! I have never heard of making a giant Gravemind. The map also looks great, and making it compatible with many game types really makes the map even better. Great map, keep it up! Overall: 5/5
Awsome map. 5/5 and downloaded, I'll play it in a little bit.
This is awsome. I watched the vid and plan on playing it!!

Game Varients
Capture the Flag game varient "GraveFlag"
Defenders protect flag in Gravemind's mouth while attackers start at their base, need to grab the flag and bring it back. 4 three minute rounds of attack and defense. Switching roles upon time ending, or flag scoring. Flag carrier turns white.
Assault game varient "GraveBomb"
Same idea as GraveFlag, but attackers need to carry bomb to gravemind's mouth. 10 seconds to instantly detonate. 4 three minute rounds of attack and defense. Switching roles as before. Bomb carrier turns white.
Infection game varient "GraveFeast"
Everyone starts with magnums, and zombie (Or Flood in this case), is fast and starts on Gravemind. Alpha Zombie (person who begins as zombie), has more health and can take a couple more shots than regular zombies in order to give alpha a fighting chance. Flood have no shields, can sustain about 4 body shots or 1 head shot. Low gravity. (So AIM FOR THE HEAD!!!) Humans are normal. Same weapons on map as any other game varient. Scarry fun.
All of these options can be changed in the edit options for the gametype before you start a game if you want to change things up. i.e. give zombies different traits etc.

VIDEO
GRAVEMIND WALKTHROUGH
Sorry, I don't have a capture card, so I can't put it on youtube. It's a 5 minute walkthrough of important weapon locations and entry/exit points. I found it helpful to hold the "fast forward" button which makes the video last only a couple of minutes and you can slow it down for parts that go too fast. Extremely helpful if you have never played this map before. Get a heads-up on the whereabouts before those who just play the map for the first time.

The Story
Gravemind searched high and low for the control room, trying intently to stop Master Chief from activating the Ring. In his searching, he didn't expect the freezing temperatures on "Avalanche" to stop his progress. Gravemind, made of organic matter, froze solid in a matter of minutes while letting out one last roar, before succoming to the frost. (This is why you don't get to fight Gravemind in the campaign levels of Halo 3. - at least in my head, lol)

Technical Info
Yes, I know gravemind has several tenticles that I wanted to include, but the only thing I had left to use were some boxes. They looked bad and it invaded the space of the level. So for my purposes, these tenticles froze off and fell down the cliff.
Even though it's set on avalanche, it's focused on one area. The caves are blocked off and all the weapons removed off the actual avalance bases, so even if you did head in those directions you wouldn't win - there's no point in going there.

PICS!!!!
Attacker's Base
-Sniper, 2 plasma pistols, 2 BR, Needler, Mongoose, Spartan laser (up high), and Turret.

Front Overview

Man cannon entry and exit
-Below Gravemind

Mouth close up
-There is a platform on both sides, of the front of the mouth, to access the upper level where the sniper resides for the defenders.

Rocket Way
-Accessed inside the mouth, a series of steps that lead to the rocket launcher. Beware, this is exposed to attackers' turret, S laser, and sniper.

Shotgun Teleport
-This is on the left side of gravemind, below the horizon. Shotgun, Flamethrower and Two-way teleport to the (tongue) in the middle of gravemind's mouth.

Rockets Teleport
-On the opposite side of gravemind, is a pathway that leads to a teleporter to take you behind gravemind. It leads to a rocket launcher, two maulers, and two fire bombs. Going through the teleport by these weapons sends you shooting out the exit man cannon in front of Gravemind. It takes longer to get the weapons, but you are protected if nobody sees you.

Spartan Laser Location
-There is a grav lift by the lowest corner wall or "stair" that leads to the Spartan Laser. If you hop in the large "man cannon" thing jutting out of the wall, it will send you very close to the ground man cannons to lead you right back to gravemind.

Gravebomb Start
-Using the Gravebomb gametype, it's 4 three minute rounds of attack and defense. Bomb carier turns white.

Gravebomb Score
-Defeat the beast!
