Subject: The Official and Only Halo 3 User-Created Gametypes/Maps Thread

The map is called Vanquish it is a symmetrical map with two bases, a bridge dividing the map into two equal parts, and two upper levels. It was primarily made for MLG settings but can be used for regular games as well. The map has four br's, 2 carbines, 1 rocket with two shots that spawns every 3 minutes, a mauler that spawns after 1 and a half minutes and a plasma pistol that spawns every minute and a half as well. The weapons are all centrally located so 1 team does not have an advantage to getting the power weapons before the other. This map is very clean and the overlapping technique was used. I tried to pay as much attention to the weapon and spawn placement as what I did actually making the map itself. I will put some pictures up here in a matter of seconds. Please leave any comments on how to improve it the next time around.

-Sim City-
This is a map variant of Foundry in which I have created a few main structure with different areas setup inside them for created a business. The map has a vehicle shop already setup and a gun store. The city have some weapons hidden around dumpsters and pallets for starting up some trouble, but skilled terrorists can find a hidden hideout with some dangerous equipment for assaulting the police station, civilians, or rival teams. The map is best played with at least 6 people. It gets most interesting when there are corrupt cops and aggressive civilians. Typically blue team should be police and civilians can break them selves into any other color group they wish, but police should not be changing teams with civilians very often. Players must find,buy, or steal grenades and more powerful weapons than what they spawn with. The police station is equipped with all the necessary firepower to keep the city under control, but police will need to be quick thinkers and sharp shooters to keep crime levels down. Laws of the city should be established by players at the beginging of the game.

Towerball Tower
is just the customized map meant to play Towerball

recomended players: 4-8
gametype: neutral assault

description: unlimited rockets with no secondary weapon. the ball carrier gets a speed boost and an overshield, but he recharges half as fast. you get the bomb on the tower and take it to the opponents side to score. best of 3 rounds win.

Game called sho fly.

Blue team only have hammers, very very heavy gravity, speed is very slow, extra shields.
Red team can only melee speed is very fast, no gravity.
The idea is to sneak up or jump around on the blue team and try to assassinate them before you get smashed with the hammer.

My map is called - Mile high

In this map i made a pretty cool Airplane which is the main focus of the map.You can get inside it
to get the sniper ,flamethrower and needler. the plane is in the middle of the air and takes up alot of space. there is also a 'SAM' site which can fire multiple propane tanks up to the plane.
Also there is a 'Brute' armory with weapons equipment, brute only, with 2 choppers. to get into this armory there is a working door.
I think this map is pretty cool and sud be worth a look anyway. Downloads and ratings are appricated.

My other Map Heavy Artillery
This map was designed as a human vs covenant type of team slayer variant.
First off, there is the 'human base' which is a huge tank designed to be the focal point of
the map.The tank fires automatically every 10 seconds. In the tank base there is a splazer, an armory with only human weapons, shotty included, and an equipment store. At the top of the tank there is a gauss turrent which can only be used as a turrent, the hog itself is un-drivable. This was done by sum verey tricky forging.Then, outside the tank-base there are 2 houses for 2 mongooses. Then for the other team, of covenant infidels there as 2 encampments packed with only 'covenan't goodies ,(beam rifle included) and a couple of plasma turrents.also to help them there is a ghost and a brute chopper! This map is good with 6 people,but its better with 8!

The Map is call SKULLKING is is played on a Forged foundry the map has a huge HALLWAY type lay out with at the back of the HALL is the hill but you need to stratagize your way to the hill for there are many opsticals keeping you from your goal besides your oppsing team and the game variant is also SKULLKING gv

VIP Dash - prob the best

vip game like escort. 2 permanent vips on each team, wich are badly handicapped (lack of shields etc). team help their vip reach destination. vip kills still count, but reaching destinations are worth much more.

Blood Bath

team slayer game where only killing sprees count.

My Ball, Mine!

dont let the crappy name fool you, this oddball game focuses on kills with the ball, rather than just carrying it. points are still awarded though, but less than ball kills.

Stay Alive: A xbox live player's account on how he/she...STAYED ALIVE!

this map is a forged map of avalanch. in this map, the humans must take the hornets that are next to the entrance of the cave and fly towards the top of the platform. This is where your ethical decision come down to: share the hornet or save your skin. At the top of the platform, there is a teleporter that will teleport the player into the platform. Here, there is a machine gun and several assortments of weapons. If the zombie starts overloading the platform, then the humans should go towards the back of the platform and enter another teleporter. this teleporter will teleport players into the center cavern, where grenades are and where the humans make their last stand against the zombie to...STAY ALIVE!! (cue dramatic music)

BTW: zombies are armed w/ energy sword and ze hammer! (duh) and have the ability to use vehicles. The zombies start on the cavern opposite to the human spawn. At the entrance, there is a couple of grav lifts that are preventing the zombies from leaving; this will give the humans time to enter the vehicles. Zombies can escape if they hammer their way out, but they must be quick!

Elephant War-Supreme BTB map. Both Elephants are heavily armed and equipped. There are also many hidden vehicles to be used to turn the tide of war. (this is my 3rd Version, so it plays MUCH better than my first ones.)

Elephant Bomb V2- This is the gametype to Elephant War. The player traits are set differently. The damage resistance and shield re-charge rate is at 90%. The damage and speed modifiers are at 110%. The starting weapons are BR and Magnum. (I prefer this gametype over my Elephant Bomb V1.)

Elephant Bomb- This is the standard Elephant Bomb Gametype. Player speed is at 110%. Starting weapon is the AR.

8-16 players, but it was designed with epic BTBing in mind, so I recommend having an 8 vs 8. (16 players.)

Airground- A re-imagination of High Ground.- This is similar to High Ground, but with a few extra gimmicks.

The Beach Side gets a Warthog in asymmetric games, and instead of BRs, the Beach Side gets Carbines. The Base Side has some Trip Mines and a Flamethrower all the way in the back room. The Base Side also has BRs instead of Carbines, but I did leave one Carbine in the Base Side.

Airground is best suited for one-sided for one-sided, asymmetric gametypes. (I.E. One Flag, One Bomb, etc.)

6-12 players.

BR Circle- This is a very simple, yet tranquil map. There are 8 spawn points in a circle with a traffic cone in the middle. I made it to see who has the best BR skills. It is meant to be played with This.

Every player has full overshields, but if you don't like that you can change it. The starting weapon is the BR with unlimited ammo. There are no starting grenades. 25 kills to win, but it is recommended to set the kill limit lower. 2-8 players, but it is not recommended to have more than 4 people at once.

You're no match for an Elite...

This is a map varient of the pit designed for infection game types. (download with infection varient) Weapon pickup is enabled for human players, and a veriety of weapons are scattered accross the map. However amo is very limited, and the respawn time sporadic, encouraging well aimed shots and the conservation of ammo. magnum spawn is default to prevent zombies from being anhilated from withering fire from BR/ARs. Also, to make for a more claustraphobic infection scenario, the motion sensor for humans is tighened to 10 metres, awarding a sharp trigger finger. The terrain has been littered with allsorts of varying cover and scenary, allowing zombies to avance in cover or plan a clever ambush, preventing them from being slaughtered in open ground. Zombies have increased speed and gravity, providing frenzied gameplay, and spawn with swords and no weapon pickup. motion sensor for zombies is also increased, which will result in less possibilty of wandering around aimlessly searching for targets. zombies also have increased power, so unlucky glancing blows are no longer a factor. However they have no sheilds, allowing a human with a steady aim to drop them without too much hastle.
Some areas have aditional cover and tactical weapon placement, providing humans with well fortified cover and an area to hold off the zombies. However camping is ill advised as ammo is low and weapon spawn is sporadic, and camping players will most likely run empty before they have a chance to escape. i hope that these varients encourage tactical play from both teams.

Quick SummaryCourtyard is an asymmetrical map that has two bases, two vents, and one courtyard next to the bases. It focuses on battles in the vents, the courtyard, and between bases. No one really goes right through the middle because your a sitting duck from almost all sides and bases.

Multijail. Multijail. Enabled for ALL gametypes, it has 2 bases, not even but made to be fair. One Starts near power weapon cashes and ghosts, one with power weapons. Teleporters lead out of the bases. Great for infection, has it's own gametypes coming soon. Camping rooms are not enabled for camping at start, but boot up in the game. Instant respawning nades and powerups are usefull, but have a buddy help you out of the overshield and invisabilty rooms. I have merged doors with walls at the four doorways to make unclosable, real looking, doors. Also, multi-bomb games become very intresting because there is alot of bombs, with one starting in each room. Infection can be fast pased or slow pased. The humans must grab power weapons and run, because the zombies will be in this roofless base soon. Also, Team games can be fun if you know how to defend and attack. Juggernaut is great here because it's easy to splater him, so he isn't as unstopable. Even 1on1 games work here, but so do 16 man games. Each game will be played diffrently each game by each player. Try it with each game!

It is a castle with a main entrance guarded by a turret with a bridge leading to the entrance.
But there are other ways in to the castle, you just have to discover them.
This is great for capture the flag and Infection games.

Apocalypse
This map is basically an obstical course for very skilled users. Its a series of jumps for only one thing in mind, getting to the end. A lot of jumps may seem impossible, but all jumps have been tested, retested, and tested again by multiple users and are found possible. If completed correctly and no cheating, I have made the offer of a 3 month Xbox Live Membership to the first person to complete, and a 1 year Xbox Live Membership to the first person to complete it in under 10 min. Send completion video to BlAcK WiDoW 629 and gsxr750fastman for reward. Must use Black Rain game varient. Keep in mind, no one has completed it to date. Also one minor problem, respond points will not put you in correct spot, we have tried everything.

New to this and don't understand the whole link thing. but anyway i got a game i made. pretty simple u start with a pistol and u cant pick any weapons up and no nades. one -blam!- kills. This is a Remake of both Halo and Halo 2's Beaver Creek. Its a sweet Foundry Map. Its a close range map and has all the old powerups and weapons from the first map. Its best for Slayer, Team Slayer, Assualt, and Terrirories...In my opinion.
Its probably best to play with 2-8 players.

Subject: EAGLE HILL - CTF MAP

This is Eagle Hill, I made this a while back, its a CTF map.
You see, the flags are right next to each other, seperated by two fence boxes at the top of a hill. Its really challenging to get to each flag and back home safely. Its Really Fun.

Weapons: Each side gets a sniper rifle, in the middle is a Shotgun with some FireBombs next to, Plenty of Brute Spikers, SMGs, Battle Rifels, and Much more.

Equipments and PowerUps: Theres two LandMines, Two Bubble Sheilds, 2 grav lifts, and i belive a regenerator. There is also an Oversheild somewhere in the map, thats hard to access but when u find it, youll find its a good hiding spot as well.

You should also know that above the flags are two Fusion Coils next to a Wire Spool, if done correctly, you can shoot the Fusion Coils, making the Wire Spools fly off and hopefully landing on, and killing the runaway flag carrier, a fun, embarssing, and great way to defend your flag.

This map is GREAT for CTF! Good for slayer and other gametypes as well.
There should be 4 players or more on each team so 4-8 players is pretty good, and fun!

The above map and game are fun when playing in the darkness. In the map both bases have an armory nearby with only human weapons and near the starting point is the key component to the success of the game, a flare......yes a flare if used correctly and you stand close enough to it, it looks like infrared if you look at the scenery and players you will see a wide assortment of infrared colors. and the game is basically a slayer game with few changes. The map is also good for the standard CTF game.

The above map and game is very much like the previous but no weapons and no equipment. The twist to this game/map combo is that the zombies aren't zombies they are shadows recruiting shadows of the humans for their army of shadows. Shadows can be instantaneously depleted but will come back for more.

The above map/game combo is based on the idea of the movie and game series "Resident Evil", The zombies spawn inside a containment room in the middle of a facility. The have managed to damage the walls they are contained in and are taking over the facility. The guards must keep them at ease using the weapons provided. You have orders not to attack until the zombies have actually left the containment room and into the facility. The facility is on the Avalanche map and there is also a secret go to escape sanctuary where you can stay until the zombies calm down. BUT you also have orders not to leave the facility until it is in fact overrun by zombies which means only when the zombies have taken too many to their side only then can you retreat to the sanctuary.
