Hello Bungie community. I want to see what you guys think of this new map I made in forge called 2Fort. As it says in the description it was based loosely off of the map 2Fort from Team Fortress 2. It includes all classes except medic(at the time being) and the repair man(but there are still sentry's). Heavy's get turrets, the scouts get hammers, the grenade men get grenade launchers and lasers, and the spy's get invisibility. Very fun for capture the flag and team slayer. 10-16 players recommended.

It's in my file share for you guys to download. ALOT of people have told me it's Bungie favorites worthy.

Game Varient: Laser Tag

Map Varient: Laser Tag

This is a slayer gametype that is very much like the friendly game of laser tag. You spawn in a shielded area with sentinal beams directly in front of you and walk through the sheild doors into the symmetrical map perfect for a game like this. It is set to an instant kill, like laser tag, and you are provided with lots of covers and areas of attack with possible skirmishes all over the map. There is a custom powerup in the middle of the map that gives the reciever shields, allowing him to take a small amount of damage and it also gives him an enhanced radar, allowing him to see where his enemies are for 10 seconds. Normally, players have no radar what so ever, as in a game of laser tag. you have one life per round, so there is no worry for spawn killing, and it is best of 4 rounds. I have tested it with many parties who enjoyed it and have tweaked it many times to make it perfect. It is meant for teams of 2, 3, or 4 each. Two teams only.

  • 01.25.2009 4:57 PM PDT

And as an added bonus, when you run out of ammunition, your weapon can easily double as a club! Never be caught out of the action! Laugh as your enemies feebly try to reload, then crush their skulls! -Brought to you by the UNSC-

Map Variant: Confinement
The vast, sprawling open area of Avalanche reduced to a couple small rooms, and a lot of violence. All the exterior areas are blocked off, leaving only the bases, teleport rooms, and the central cave area open for play. The rooms with the teleportors serve as weapon rooms, with both weapon sets being the same. CQB skills and quick reflexes will enable you to win the day. This map is best with 2-8 players in non-objective game types. CTF will NOT work with this map, as there is no way to get to the flag. Team slayer, Juggernaut or VIP would be ideal.

Game Variant: Unfair
A Juggernaut game that is unbalanced to an extreme. The Juggernaut is invisible and fast, but everyone else can only be killed by assassinations. The Juggernaut can be shot, if you can find him. 1 point for killing the Juggernaut, 2 for assassinating someone as the Juggernaut. 20 points to win.

(Game and Map do not have to go together)

Vrrin Vrrin, yeah here I come.

I have a gametype i made today, i call it "the loneliest wolf." its in a juggernuat setting where everyone is on one team (preferably purple) and the other one man team (preferably gold) sits in a HUGE tower as high as the map will allow, then packout the top of the tower full of weapons you might need, (sniper, rockets, spartan, missle pod, ect) then get the the respawn points all on one side of the map except for one in the tower, (which should have one barrier on each side of the rectangle, and make the tower a fence cage tower, it works better.) then get all the weapons and vehicles on the list in forge on the purple teams side of the map. and then the fun begins! and anyone who kills the golden man gets to becomes the golden man. :D

Does anyone know if Bungie is planning on using more user created gametypes and maps in the future?

New Map: Sanguinarium

-This is my first user-created map that I have spent some time building and planning with my friend, PwG Ender, and now I am ready to share it with the H3 Community!-

Sanguinarium is derived from one word: Sanguinary which is:
1. full of or characterized by bloodshed; bloody
2. composed of or marked with blood.
(Fitting right?)

The Sanguinarium is a sky arena hovering several feet above the base floor of Foundry, while surrounded by a cascade of deadly fusion coils. The cage itself is home to almost every weapon available in Halo 3 and is so placed as to where you will never be far from a weapon you desire, but the real prize is getting that said weapon. Enemies will be coming at you from every angle with the mentality of one word: Survivability. There is no hiding, and the only way to stay alive is to kill everyone in sight.

Enclosed in the vertical sides of the Sanguinarium are Saferooms (rooms protected by a plasma barrier that house all the weapons one could desire), while right outside to the east are "conveniently placed" Machine Gun/Plasma Turrets. A lone hole in one vertical wall houses what could be a game-breaker. a Custom Powerup. In the middle is the almighty Plasma Sword.

As the name suggests, the Sanguinarium is bested suited for FFA Slayer, Team Slayer gametypes (while Oddball is not a far cry, as well) with the preferred player limit being 2 to 16.

As it stands, every friend/person I have played with on the Sanguinarium said they have loved it and have wanted the map for Slayer use. If you download and feel it is a great map, rate it and comment!

Thank you Bungie Community!

Die Fighting
Not Hiding
Live With Honour
Die With Honour!

Here's a map I've made:
THE MAZE!

In this map you have to 'escape' the maze by using your cunningness.
It is quite hard and not a multiplayer fighting map.

I was inspired to make this map after playing on the map 'OBSTACLE COURSE', a previous Bungie favourite.

This should be played with the game variant MAZE CRAZE - also made by me (offline) to be played with THE MAZE!

If anyone gets stuck feel free to message me or even invite me. My friend couldn't do it and grew angry with frustation!

Thanks halohollics,

How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

I'll post links soon to a Forged version of Foundry called Mosh Pit. Also, there is a matching game type. You start with SMGs and a Magnum. Best for 6-14 players. No grenades. A sword in the center of the map is supposed to be the center of attention. But, there is a plasma cannon and a flamethrower which could be of interest... also, infinite ammo. I tried it with 8 people, hectic, super fun, and got 9 double kills. Play to 50. There are some Plasma Rifles, Spikers, ARs, 4 Trip mines, and more, I love playing this map!

373 Plasma Pistol kills and counting

Bourbon's Construct
Game Rules file
Map file

A retooled version of Construct. All spawn points are at the bottom area of the map, while all the good weaponry is at the top of the map. The goal, obviously, is to get to the top of the map, and control one of the two side rooms.

The bottom floor has had all the heavier weapons removed. Instead, you start with a measly Plasma Pistol, and no grenades. Nearby your spawning location is four Carbines, four Plasma Rifles, a Needler, and a Beam Rifle. Plasma Grenades and more Carbines are plentiful in the lower room.

A quick search of the lower area reveals some teleporters. Entering any one of these will lead you to a hidden room (where the sword used to be) that has a number of interesting weapon possibilities. This includes more Needlers and Plasma Rifles, but also two Magnums, a Shotgun and two SMGs. These weapons, coupled with a Power Drain and some Plasma Grenades will aid you greatly if the other team has set up camp in one of the side rooms. A quick trek underneath the room gets you to the Sniper Rifle.

In each side room is a Sniper Rifle, a Rocket Launcher, a pair of Battle Rifles, an Assault Rifle and a Shotgun. These are the only available Human weapons on the map, save for the odd Pistol or SMG. All the Human weapons have reduced ammunition (one spare clip or less) and have their spawn times set at 60. The rear entrances to these rooms have been blocked off, leaving only the front door and the purple lift as means of entrance.

This may seem like an unbreakable camp-fest, with all the Human weapons hidden away and everyone else forced to rely on smaller weapons. However, some carefully placed Beam Rifles, Carbines and Plasma Grenades make it possible. Several obstacles along the way can be used for cover as well, making this less of a run and gun map, and more strategic.

All the spawn times for Covenant weapons are 10 for smaller weapons and 30 for the Beam Rifles. This, coupled with their widespread availability forces the player to improvise somewhat if they are to take back the side rooms.

As stated in the description of the gametype file, stylish kills are rewarded, while stupidity is punished severely. A Headshot, Assasination or Stick will yield TWO points for the kill instead of one. A Killing Spree also adds another point to your score. Dying subtracts one point. Betrayal subtracts five.

Every time you die you are forced to restart at the bottom of the map with no grenades and a Plasma Pistol. You absolutely MUST control the top side rooms of this map to succeed. First to 100 points wins. It might seem difficult, but every good kill gets you two points, and every enemy you kill also lowers their score by one. It will be a long game if you can't get the momentum in your favor.

Weapons on the bottom floor:

Plasma Rifles: 12
Carbines: 14
Needlers: 6
Beam Rifles: 2
Plasma Grenades: 16
SMGs: 2
Pistols: 2
Battle Rifles: 2

All Covenant weapons on this floor have a respawn time of 10. All human weapons have a respawn time of 60 and have only one extra clip of ammunition.

Weapons in hidden cache:

Plasma Rifles: 2
Needlers: 2
Assault Rifles: 2
Shotguns: 1
Sniper Rifles: 1
SMGs: 2
Pistols: 2
Frag Grenades: 8

All weapons in this room have a respawn time of 10, except the Shotgun, which is set to 30. This weapons cache is only accessible by teleport (or climbing a thin rail) from the bottom floor, and is completely unaccessible from the top floor. The exit has a pair of Gravity Lifts to get your heavily armed team straight into the action.

Weapons in side rooms:

Assault Rifles: 1
Battle Rifles: 2
Pistols: 2
Sniper Rifles: 1
Rocket Launchers: 1
Shotguns: 1
Regenerators: 1
Frag Grenades: 4

All weapons in this room have only one extra clip (rocket has 0) and have a respawn time of 60. This forces the players to use their human ammunition wisely, and perhaps move on to either Covenant weapons or try the other side room in times of scarcity.

Weapons on top floor:

Plasma Rifles: 4
Needlers: 2
Beam Rifles: 2
Assault Rifles: 2
Battle Rifles: 2
Plasma Grenades: 4
Frag Grenades: 4

All weapons here have the same spawn times you would expect by now. Smaller Covenant weapons at 10, ARs and Beam Rifles at 30, BRs at 60. This floor has plenty of cover allowing the attacking team a fighting chance when assaulting one of the side rooms.

Other weapons:
Energy Swords: 1

There is an Energy Sword on the ramp up to the top floor with a respawn time of 180... just in case the attacking team needs a bit of assistance.

Both files can be downloaded from my File Share. Set Map to "Bourbon's Cnst" and Game Type to "Bourbon's Cnst" and you're good to go. This map is quite fun if you're looking for a bit of an objective in your Team Slayer games.

This is the first time I've ever made a map. I've done my fair share of tinkering around in the forge, but never actually completed one that I deemed worthy to play, much less share with the Bungie community. I present to you, Hectic. This is my idea of a fun, fast paced FFA or Team Slayer map. I decided to customize Cold Storage because I haven't seen many variations of it. Don't get me wrong, I've played on hundreds of awsome forgeries done on Foundry, but I wanted to do something different. I recommend at least 2-6 players. The times I've played with more than 6 people, I turned the radars off. Inside this slayer-happy version of Cold Storage, I've made every single weapon and power-up available to those who dare to tread in my vision of a kill happy time. I'm not going to go into details about what I placed where and what I've omitted there, You'll just have to see for yourself.

Action shots-

Even a hammer

I hope the screens are enough to wet your appetite for some close quarter slayer action and that you enjoy the map as much as myself and my friends do. Any feedback or comments, positive or negative, will be greatly appreciated and taken into consideration during my future forge forays.

Map Variant: Lock In
Variant of: Blackout
Best Played with: Cut off (infection variant)
Everything can be found in my file share
Description:
THe atmosphere is dark and gloomy. All of the doorways a sealed of, so you can't get outside. But luckily, all of the rooms are connected by 2 way teleporters. Each one you go in will take you to a random room, except the two teleporters in the two team's spawns, which are sender nodes. Most of the weapons are gone. In the Human spawn there are dual-wieldable weapons on the platform sticking out of the wall. On the upper floor you will find some equipment.

My game: Mosh Pit

You start off with SMGs and a Magnum, (sometimes at start, you spawn outside, there is a teleporter) and is best suited for 6-12 players. First to 50 kills wins. There are Trip Mines, Assault rifles, a plasma cannon, a flamethrower, and a Sword. Infinite ammo, no grenades, and 3 different levels to fight on!

Map: Creeping (variant of black out)
Best Played with Creeping (creeping is the name of the map and the mode)
Recommended # of player: 6-10

Its dark and eerie, so you WILL need to pay attention to be able to see in-coming zombies. I changed the black out stage into another infection map, but this time its sort of maze-like. You can still free-roam, though, its not a definite maze. You can go around and get out side of the "walls" if you want. But its not recommended doing that though, because the last thing you want is to be ini a dead-end and not be able to see where you are going. And be extra careful while jumping over a void.
