how many colors can you post under? I know you can do

red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, but what else can you do?

Try a google search on Hex Color codes, you ought to find the names and numbers for every color you could possibly use, and many more which you will probably never need.

Yeah, but nobody knows/cares how hex works, so they get confused when you say 0-F are the values you can choose for each digit.

Once you get a bit of experience in HEX, it's not all that bad.

Basically, the first two numbers control the amount of red, the second two the amount of green, and the last two the amount of blue. So, to get pure blue, #0000FF would be your code. And having all figures equal gives a shade of grey, #000000 being black, #101010 being a dark grey, #757575 being a medium shade, and #FFFFFF being white.
