Why not just get Quicktime, it will take about 5 minutes and I much prefer it over WMV.

*** BREAKING NEWS ***

^^^ Just to get your attention... but... just found out...
OH... MY... -blam!-ING... GOSH...

Eat your heart out, Stephen!

ulla-a-ah! ... I mean ... w00t!

I heard they have been working on this project in 2001, but set in a contemporary timeframe. They cancelled that after 9/11. Then I pretty much assumed Spielberg bought out Pendragon of their movieright. THINK AGAIN! They secretly made an accurate adoption of Wells' classic! You HAVE to see this one!

*bump*

Oh, and also, they have a teaser poster up now. But that kind of sucks.

When barbecuing veggie burgers, be sure to tie your long hair back. That will keep it away from the flames, you stupid hippie.

Wow...this movie is gonna be cool.

As anyone ever listened to the old radio show? It's corny, yet entertaining.

And for added laughs, watch the '50s War of the Worlds. 'Specially with a bunch of friends who crack smart-ass jokes all the time.

Yep, I have that show on CD. It's pretty cool - considering the time when it was made. The '53 movie is only cool for it's special effects - which won an Academy Award by the way. But have you seen that 80s tv show? That was bad! Like some B horror movie. And seeing that green hand on the poster of Spielberg's movie, and the tagline "they are allready here" doesn't promise much for quality...

I think if they're going to make another War of the Worlds move, Speilberg is the man. And from the trailer, it looks awesome.

The trailer tells me nothing, to be frank. I'll just wait until more information becomes available before I decide to go and watch Spielberg's movie at the cinema. As for now, it looks like a movie I will only rent. The indie movie however, I do want to see on the silver screen.
