Please, bring HaloCE and HaloPC together..
This is the best game on PC, but you guys have killed it with the lack of support..
We waited and waited for a update on HaloPC, and we get HaloCE, which splits out whole universe in two different pieces. Please bring it together..
90% of players play on HaloPC, because they have no idea what HaloCE is. Please make a "Update" on HaloPC, so everyone is updated to HaloCE. Even if you dont want to make a huge update for HaloPC, just make a update and give them a "readme" file. And tell them about HaloCE.
Thx..

You bring forward a very good point Hawk. Bungie, it is already hard enough to get people interested in Halo CE, let alone get them to download everything needed and look for the information. I understand that it should be gearbox's job, but they have almost ditched us for thier brother in arms game. It is very disheartining. It would be nice if there would be something u could do, because it would be a terrible waste to see Halo CE die just because nobody knows about it/is frustrated with it.

Its soo sad. I heard about halo, from my friends and the people i worked with. Everyone said it was the best game in the world, but i never had a xbox. And i know i will never buy one. Becuase i play games on PC. And then Halo comes out for PC, and i buy it the first day it came out, and got into clans, and started playing it competitvly, but then the companys started not supporting the game for some reason. The game that could be the best game on xbox and PC. I wouldnt be surprised if a new company like "gearbox" stoped supporting. But i wouldnt expect that from a companys like microsoft and bungie. Because people expect soo much from them.
Please bungie, help us.
Thx.

HaloCE is Gearbox's monster, not Bungie. For that matter, HaloPC is in the same boat.

Edit-

Further, HaloCE is so different from HaloPC in architecture that a simple patch would not solve it. That's why there's a 170 meg download.

I didnt ask for Bungie to make a patch for HaloPC -> HaloCE
I asked for a patch for HaloPC with a "readme" FOR HaloCE

I personally like the idea of having Halo PC and Halo CE seperate.

On Halo CE there are hardly any...umm..."new people". 80% of the Halo CE population are decent or above average at the game. I like this, but when I go back to Halo PC its just a "new people" convention. I enjoy the challenge.

Of course eventually more "new people" will have CE, but I'll have my fun until that time!

I would rather have them together so the technical aspects of CE's multiplayer (faster shading and such) could also be used in single player. As it stands, I have found the single player experience to be horrific because of terrible slowdown (my PC specs are more than enough to run Halo, anywhere between double to triple the specs posted on the box), but CE runs perfectly fine (except both versions lose sound after 10 minutes of playtime, a bug I have isolated to Halo and Halo CE, but cannot figure out what is causing it).
