Hello everyone,

It just came to my mind that with Bungie's recent annouchement of independence, will they return to their roots by releasing their (non-halo) games for the Mac again?!

What do you think?!

Could Bungie comment on this?

Macs do not have the gaming power that regular PCs have. Plus, Mac users are a minority. And finally, Microsoft still owns part of Bungie.

So to answer your question, don't hold your breath.

While Macs were as suited (perhaps even more suited) to gaming than PCs were in the 90's, developing games for Macs was a good idea. But they're not really...

They just don't...

No one buys Macs for games anymore? And Apple doesn't really make them with gaming in mind.

So I doubt it. Continued development for the 360 or whatever comes next is probably safer.

Ok, but what do you mean by "gaming power"?! As far as I know Mac's deliver results just as well from a gaming standpoint as PC's. The only downside is that support is low because it's a minority, yes. But Halo 1 originaly was supposed to come out on the Mac and was during a period when Apple was doing really bad, but Bungie didn't leave.

Now Mac's are selling beter then ever and Apple is getting more and more support from publisher's like EA and Ubisoft. I gues the only thing standing in the way is Microsoft, but do they really have anything to say anymore about what Bungie does with their games besides Halo based titles?!
