Nvidia cards has never really rendered the invisible shield from the beginning. You're not the only one who has this problem. Pretty much everybody who has the Nvidia card are suffering from this problem.

yeah...nvidia hasn't realy cared about halo much. if they simply looked into it, they could easily work it in to their new drivers. but they won't.

I seriously suggest that you not use NVidia, but use ATI instead. ATI actually cares about your gaming. NVidia just wants to compete with ATI!!

The only way you can solve this problem is to buy an ATI graphics card. Or wait for Gearbox to fix it *laughs so hard stomach explodes*

Heyyo,

LOL! w00t! diddn't think I'd see the day when a forum moddie would say great responses like that. You just made my day goweb. :)

Downgrade your drivers, early forceware drivers seemed to be ok back on my FX5600, until I realised I was ripped off, sold it, and bought a ATI 9600 PRO that cost like, only $5 more at the time. I've never looked back since. ;)

don't ya mean 'wait for nvidia to fix it?'
muhaha[chokes, coughs] wait. they're gonna do it in about 20 days...

oh, and by the way, getting an ATi card will cause many more problems than what it's worth...

Heyyo,

Create more probs? err... no. If ya know how to delete drivers before putting in a new videocard it's easy and painless.

Ya I can't wait for gearbox to fix it; it just makes the invisible people lots easier to see!
(I'ts not that hard to see them with the "bug" either; the bug is better)

Heyyo,

general probs? I've had np's with my ATI videocard dude, only that I wish I had a ATI Radeon x850 series videocard. :p

So far, the NV equivalents have given me probs in the past, and it seems even newer NV Videcoards are givin' other people probs right now....
