On a human controlled planet in the far reaches of space, everything is about to change. On the day Jake, the new soldier for Valhalla's Yellow Team, arrives, his leader and the second in command are absent, picking up new vehicles for the base. Left there are Sam, the heavy weapons and Spartan Laser expert, and Lucas, the close range specialist, who lacks a shotgun. After given a quick tour of the base, Jake grabs the sniper rifle, not knowing it belongs to the Captain. As he is about to snipe Major Gavin, leader of Red team, Lucas stops him, but the shot is fired and Warthogs are sent to silence the team. Unfortunately for the team, the Spartan Laser is uncharged, and only has two shots. This all leads in the end to Jake being shot, Sam and Lucas meeting an alien, and Sam being fired miles upon miles away to a Red Fortress called Last Resort. But as the Yellow Team advances in their campaign against the Red Team, they become entangled in events that could change everything. This is the story of three teams, a legend, and a threat so great, that it could threaten all of mankind.
Now, before you say anything, this is NOT going to be a Red vs. Blue rip-off and it's NOT going to be a comedy. Four Stories is going to be a dramatic action series similar to The Codex. The only difference between Four Stories and The Codex is that we'll be putting a larger emphasis on character and plot development, as well as captivating choreography rather than just thematics. These goals can be met with Halo 3, as the armor permutations allow different variations of characters. This means that you can actually recognize who is who in the series, rather than just guessing who is in the armor. Forge is also a great tool for the series, because it allows us to insert our own vehicles for whatever the situation requires. For example, if we wanted to show an arrival of a new character directly from the Yellow Command, we would insert the Hornet and show the character coming out, rather than just trying to figure out how to make this character arrive.
Currently, we have a well-polished script for Episode 1 completed and are still in the pre-production phase for season 1. If possible, any help for editing, motion capture, and voice acting would be greatly appreciated. The series will be released under our studio, Grindhouse Productions. Sure, the name might not be original, but the name is actually an oxymoron when compared to the thematics of the series. Unless something major happens, each episode in the series will be distributed by Darkspire Films, a talented group of machinimakers and composers whom are a pleasure to work with. The site that the series will be seen on is www.darkspirefilms.com. If you think you can contribute to our new series or would like to know more about the history of the series, then feel free to post your thoughts on here.
