What should they rate it. It will probably be rated PG-13 to roll in a few more dollars, but the game was rated M so they might rate it R. I don't know so choose one and tell me why. Just keep on voting and tell me why because I haven'tmade up my mind yet.

It should be R:
* Starship Troopers and most other movies of that type are R
* No limits to the violence
* The gamee is M (17+)

But that probably won't keep squeaky kids from seeing it anyways.

Heres the problem...an R movie is everything that we as Halo fans desire, it would be awesome..But an R rating would kill the movie, R action movies dont do very well at the box office (with the Passion of the Christ being the highest grossing R ever). The best bet is a Pg-13 movie, which would make alot of people mad. The fact of the matter is that all of this is so complicated that the movie probably wont ever be made.

I completely agree with Striking Cobra except for the last line. If you saw the movie "I-robot" AND read the book, you will see that basically the onlythings that stayed the same was the concept and the characters. They can change the movie around to fit PG-13 regulations or say screw it and make it R

What we need to take into account is if it will be with live-actors or CGI ran. If it's CGI animated, then the line between R and PG-13 can be shifted towards PG-13.
BTW: CGI animation would be the best way to go. It didnt work with Final Fantasy, but the animation was sweet nonetheless.

I'd be legally aloud to see by the time it'd come out if it were R. I'd probably still see it if I weren't. As long as its R or 13 than that means it would have what a mature game has, Violence.

The same CGI animation as final fantasy used would be pretty sweet for the Halo movie. They would probably have to use CGI for Most of the covenent and flood so why not make make it all that way.Only thing is, CGI movies don`t atract much attention in theaters, or do they, well I don`t. Anyway just the fact that it`s a Halo movie will probably get a lot of attention. Now to the point, just being animated could make it PG-13. If it where real people that could easily make it R. Most of this stuff was accidentally in respawnse to HawkEye707`s post. This seems to be extremely long so I`m going to shut up now. PS: I`m ruting for R.

I hope they don't make it into an animation. It should probably be R. They could cut down on the cursing and flood it with violence and still make it a PG-13. That would still be cool. Thanks for voting

It better be R, or I wont even bother seeing it.
We wouldnt want another Alien vs Predator.
Since Ridley Scott is directing it though, I'm not too worried...and for those who don't know, Ridley Scott was the director was Gladiator and Alien.
