Septagon TV, 7th Column Tv, The community show, whatever, all crappy names and I can't think of something better right now.
...
Oh yes, I was talking about something.
Perhaps you remember, about a year and a half ago I had the idea to make something like a community documentary. There was quite a bit of interest, but due to lack of time (and cash), it never came to be. A shame indeed. In any case, it's something I kinda want to resurrect (start your necromantic chanting!), but in a different shape. A half an hour show, every two/three weeks or something along those lines.
Content? As much community stuff as possible of course, but this is something I will need help with. I can fill a half an hour episode with plenty of (lame) mom jokes, but that'll get old fast. Luckily, I do have a few tricks in my bag ( A mail call/whaambulance thing for instance), but even more would be better. Got a great sticky in some crazy match? be sure to let me know. Want to show a clip of you dressed up in your own mjolnir armor? Send it in! machinima trailer? let me know! Want to show a tour of a great map variant you made? Fine by me!
All that sort of stuff are the things I welcome. And not just the Halo related stuff. In the end I want this show to be about Bungie, but just as much as the people of the community.
But what about the Bathroom reader?!
Good question. The problem with the reader was the lack of staff. And it needed quite a bit. Worse, if one person couldn't do his part, the whole progress shut down. With this show, that's not the case. I can do pretty much everything myself, and faster too. and if I can't do things for a change , it will be a short delay at worst (unless I'm on my yearly one month long vacation, but that's a different story.)
Somehow i have a bit of difficulty to find the words to explain what I have in mind (oh yeah, host segments will be done in Halo 3), but with a bit of luck I can have a pilot episode done within two weeks.
Anyhoo, I'd like some feedback. What do you guys think of the idea? Perhaps you already have something to send in?
