well recently, i got a new graphics card, an nvidia 6600GT, but i discovered (to my suprise) that whenever i try and run halo, i get to the microdoft video, and weather i skip it or watch it through, i cannot get to the halo main screen. instead i see the microsoft video, frozen, until my computer gives me the blue screen of death. i've tried just about everything i can think of, from updating to beta drivers, and downgrading to drivers made before my card (that didn't work so well). does anyone have any idea what's wrong

NOTE: I have tried other games (froom doom 1 to ut2k4), and halo is my only one that doesn't run.
other note: IF ANYONE SAYS NVIDIA SUCKS, I WILL NOT BE RESPONCIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS

anway, specks:(could it be my processor?)
Intel (R)
pentium (R) 4 CPU 1500MHZ
1.5GHz
640MB of RAM

Well your video card is great, nothin wrong with that, Nvidia and ATi are both kick ass companies, but all I can say is try playing with your drivers, everything else seems fine.

Or If all else fails and you have tried everything, just try and getting a different Graphics card like maybe a 9600 xt? or even a 9800 pro
