I run Xbox Live (Halo 2) thru DI-604 and get:

1. Banned from games
2. Runs real slow (lags)
3. Audio studders
4. Initial connection takes 1 minute

Now when I run the cat5e cable directly to the Scientific-Atlanta
(comcast) cable modem and get:

1. 10x better response in all functions
2. Has the best ping of all players
3. Audio super clear
4. Connects in 5 seconds

Normal computer internet functions great with 2600 mbps.

What can I do to the DI-604 and/or the xbox to improve this?

Thanks so much for any help as I am new and very inexperienced at this. Keaton231

That is what I did. If you check the site, you will see that the DI-604 is a compatable router.

I use that router too. I have three Xbox's and My laptop all running strong, with no problems what so ever. try typing in your IP address (for your router) into your browser and checking your settings.

You may want to try upgrading your firmware. I've never had a problem with my DI-604.

Munkeetwo, I have two Xboxes and three computers ruing off a Lynksis router. I have a cable connection but the two Xboxes seem to interfere with one another. Know what I can do to fix this?

Xero, it's possible that you just don't have enough bandwidth to run two Xboxes on Live at the same time.

I heard about a website that opens up and makes sure the ports are working on your router. The program is built inside a website. Does anybody know anything about it?
