ok
you cant run 2 simultaneous graphics card, unless they are both nvidia sli pci express cards, and you get a motherboard with 2 pci express x16 slots

so, in your case no you cannot run both cards at the same time
and none of your pci slots are pci express.

if they were they would look completely different than pci slots
they would be a lot thinner and smaller, and you wouldnt have a agp slot with them

PCI-Express slots (by default) are black, and the x16 slots are about the size of a PCI slot, maybe longer, x1 slots being the length of about an inch I'd say.

You don't have them unless you've bought a motherboard within the past couple months that YOU KNOW has PCI-E on it.

And yes, you can use two video cards at once, but one needs to be AGP, the other needs to be PCI (used for dual monitor setups).

are there any 1x components out there for pci express.

Man too bad PCI 16x is Intel technology, darn it, It would kick so much ass If Athlon 64 boards came with PCI 16x, that would be insane!

Heyyo,

Err, why would you want a 1x PCI-express slot when you can get 2? :)

And no you don't need 2 nvidia sli cards to do 2 at once, you can get some old skool 3DFX Voodoo 2 PCI cards, and feel the power, lol...

You can use 2 videocards at once, one for each screen I believe, but it's pretty useless cause it won't increase your game preformance....

Also you can run any card that supports PCI-X if you have some type of software... can't remember the name, i will get back to you on that. The cards just have to be the same.
