Does anyone else in here like classic sci-fi (Science fiction made between the 30's and 80's)? I like a lot of them, like the original Star Trek, the Twilight zone, and Battlestar Galactica. I know that makes me an even bigger geek than I already am, but there's something good about them being old and cheesy. I don't know what, but it must be the same reason people like old homes, old wine, old coins, and other old stuff.

There making a re-make of war of the worlds if you dident know.

Hopefully it won't turn out like the Battlestar Galactica miniseries remake. Ron Moore soiled the good name of BSG. He couldn't even figure out what gender Starbuck was.

BSG= Battlestar Galactica

War of the Worlds... looks like Half-Life 2 is borrowing a lot from this book. Also, I, Robot by Asimov was quite a pioneer.

Personally, my favorite sci-fi came from the 80's and early 90's. Neuromancer, Snow Crash... everything else the Matrix ripped off blatantly and mixed with bad taste in anime.
