Haha, what're you talking about? Bullets are ALWAYS affected by gravity, especially for things like rifle rounds or anything firing at long range. Even at 500 miles per hour, a bullet round would drop about 15 feet after travelling only 250 yards. That's a HUGE drop when you're trying to snipe someone. That being said, I'd prefer Bungie keep the bullet physics the same since I'd rather sacrifice some realism for fun.

Depends on muzzle velocity, rifling, etc. All things aside, the amount it drops just matters on how long it's in the air. I agree that putting in gravity for bullets would make it a little too realistic.

Yeah, according to simple physics, a bullet travelling 500 miles an hour really would drop around 15 feet after going about 250 yards. 500 miles an hour equals roughly 725 feet per second, which is more like 240 yards. Distance=(1/2)(acceleration due to gravity)(time squared). Acceleration due to gravity is something over 10 yards per second squared, so after one second of travel the bullet would drop half of ten yards, or roughly 15 feet. So according to physics, a bullet travelling 500 miles an hour would actually drop slightly more than 15 feet over 250 yards. :)

I dont know if it is in there yet but id like to be able to fly a Pelican into the battle field. Or better yet a Longsward. Also I would like to crouch without holding the button ( toggle it ). Last the Spankr Missle shouldent be so slow u can almost outrun the thing.

1. More realistic deaths in Multiplayer, cause they only have three: Falling down quickly, that spin from the sniper rifle, or flying into the air. I am sure if you got hit in the stomach with a Scorpion that you would fly 20 feet into the air, more like get cut in half or blown 20 backwards.

2. A rip of off Splinter Cell but a sticky camera. Inflitrate an enemies base and stick cameras everywere. You watch there movements and make a plan of action.

3. Remote mines. It would work perfectly with the sticky camera. As one person watches the base the other person has there finger of the denator. Person with the camera yells "Go" and the guy presses the button blowing away some poor sap thats head was right next to the bomb.

4. Like that one guy said, limbs coming off. For example: In Blood Gulch Red base guarding the flag with a shotgun, you start to run out to look around and run into an enemy. You blow off his arm making him drop his gun. xD. Could laugh for hours at that.

And someother stuff ...yeah, other stuff ...

One Idea I had was the ability to hold two of the same wepon in the diffrernt slots. I don't mean dual weilding, but to have one battle rifle then swich wepons and have another. This would be helpful if you had a wepon you liked alot, you ingaged a guy and had to relode your wepon. You could swich and keep fireing your other wepon and win the firght. Like if you had a Battle rifle and a Sniper rifle, if you had to relode for the battle rifle you would be screwed because the sniper is pretty bad a close range. Some other ideas that I liked was wepon slinging so that you could see the other wepon.

How about a scope inserted into the MCs helmet. I hate it when you can't see in front of you at a certain point without always carrying a pistol, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, etc.

ok, done. MC has a scope.

also, if anyone has played the quake II chaos mods, then i want to see something like the vortex or buzzsaw.

for those of you who don't know what the vortex is, its basically a little gold ring. you throw it, and after a second it floats up in the air, starts spinning, and lightning bolts shoot out of it. thats not all it does though. it creates a nasty suction that pulls you into the vortex, and basically rips you to shreds. fun weapon.

the buzzsaw shoots saw blades that ricochet like mad, and move really really fast.

something kinda reminiecent to those weapons would be cool

1# make the sniper rifle have more realistic contrails were only if you were paying attenion you could see where he was

2# make it where you could toggle crouch and not have to hold it down

3# Boarding Action 2.0 Covenant assault carrier on one side human marathon class battle cruiser on the other

4# Bungie releases a Halo 2 editor on the PC were you design the levels and then the best ones would be available for download on Xbox Live

5# no teleporters these cheapen the game and shouldn't be needed with the new boost feature and also remove the powerups thus have more ppl actually going after the flag instead of powerups and kills

Here's my weapon idea that I've thought of alot, it's long but it is really good, and I'm pretty sure it would be pretty balanced in multiplayer, but I don't have a name for it yet.

The weapon is about 2/3 the size of a rocket launcher, has a maximum clip of 4 shots, and has a firing rate of 4 shots in 8 seconds, with a reload time of 3 seconds. The gun must be aimed at least 60 degrees up in the air or it will not fire(reticle turns yellow when not fireable). The weapon launches rockets that are half as long as the normal rockets, but are 2 times as wide. When launched into the air(steering fins detracted), the rocket goes about 2/3 the speed of a normal rocket, gets to a height of about 50 feet in the air, then searches the ground area of a 500 feet radius(pulsing blue light) finds a target, whether it is friend or foe, locks onto it(pulsing red light, steering fins open), and launches at the target at the same speed of a normal rocket and hits the target. The rocket will track on ANY target it finds, even if it's a friend(so it needs to be used wisely), but it will NOT track onto any targets that are within a 20 feet radius of the person who fired it, so teammates need to stay in close groups. This weapon obviously can't be fired indoors, and is not intended for close combat. It's mainly used for large, outdoor environments where there are too many walls or objects blocking your view if there are enemies around the corner, so this weapon seeks enemies from a bird's eye view where you cannot target them with any normal weapons. Use this weapon if the enemy is traveling in groups. When the enemy sees this rocket launched into the air, they will most likely split up. The only downsides to this weapon other than being inoperable indoors and in close combat, is that the rocket immediatly loses tracking once the target goes into a building or under a large object, and that it does the damage of a single grenade(not covie).

Useful Against: Large enemy groups, ghosts, banshees, ATVs, invisible enemies, turrets.
Bad Against: Tanks, warthogs, overshielded enemies, snipers, close combat, indoors.

SB-117

They should make it so you can reload in a side-seat instead of making you get out! Im pretty sure that now its HOLD X to get out a vehicle and TAP X to reload but if its not, they should definately fix this.

no offense and hopefully i don't prove myself stupid,

i have no clue what ur level of education but im in algebra 2/trig and im pretty sure u have to include size/weight in that sumwhere

edit: sorry(i guess i proved myself stupid) i guess thats what the acceleration due to gravity
is for

once again sry

how bout gradual zoom? like you hold the right thumbstick (or scope button for pc) and the scope zooms in and continues to do so whilst the button is held or until it reaches its max zoom (10x) or an enhanced scope (20x) like the big blue telescope in the beggining of the e3 demo
