If i were to buy something right now from the Bungie.net store for $10.00 USD, would I be paying $9.79 CAD (because I am Canadian) or am I going to be paying MORE than the US funds like I did last time when the CAD was worth more than the USD .

I am not including the Border fees or tarrifs or other taxes, I'm talking the base cost to me.

Currently
1 USD = 0.979219 CAD
1 CAD = 1.02122 USD

that falls under the taxes and extra fees.

I talking the cost listed on the site.

Like when i go to the book store, the halo Comic is $29.99 US dollars but right beside that price is $40.00 Canadian.
But even though The Canadian dollar is worth more than the American dollar I am paying $40.00 instead of $29.99 US which when converted back to Canadian dollars is around $29.37.

The Bungie store was like that too. Im wondering if it has been fixed or if the CAD is still worth $0.97 USD?

The Column Underground: Made of Win

The reason our dollar really isnt getting what its worth is not because of taxes and tariffs in most cases. We still get about 75 cents on the dollar because the rapid increase of the canadian dollar has gone widely unnoticed by manufacturers and they continue to price products accordingly. Theyll go down to on par soon enough though, don't worry.

Also, i don't know if the bungie store will change it, but you could always just change your money to american before buying from them. And if it comes right off a credit card and the separate canadian price is not shown on the b.net store you should get a near fair exchange rate.
