Which router do people use for xbl.

If a wireless router is used it will be disabled and used wired connection.
No other network traffic will be going on while playing xbl.

thanx

A ton of stuff out there - I like Linksys stuff, but I'm a computer junkie and like Cisco and good customer service. Linksys. :o) (Linksys is a subsidiary of Cisco)

I am currently using a WRT55AG - which I don't think they make anymnore - but the bigger point is that as you said, I disabled the wireless and have the 360 wired - less chance of interruption.

TANGENT:
My current dilemma is that I had a superior cable ISP via Adelphia Cable where I live. It blew away DSL from Verizon and they kept upping the bandwidth. Now, Time Warner bought Adelphia out, hired Road Runner to do the internet part of the cable and it is BAD. WORSE than DSL!!! So, my networking issue is currently which crappy ISP to use, and when will something decent be available in my area. :o(

Like my BFG?

Personaly I have a fairly cheep (only about $59) Linksys WRT54G wireless G router, running in G only mode. Going out to the official expensive (about $99) wireless receiver.

I have to say I am very pleased with the results. If you get that router though, make sure you update to the latest firmware, there were older firmware versions that caused XBL a great deal of pain. With the latest firmware and the official MicroSoft XBL adapter though, it works wirelessly like a charm. I had a direct connection before, and honestly I can not tell a difference in performance from a direct 10/100 line, its that good.

Its between a Linksys Wrt-GL and Dlink dgl-4100 and dlink dir-655

would the dlinks faster processors help out network traffic on XBL and they have more ram as well.

thanx stillen
