I've gone into my profile settings and click on "Show" the bungie.net logo for Halo 3 and hit "save changes".

I come back an hour later after visiting other sites, and the setting is reverted back to "hide".

I've never seen the logo show up in the game behind my name, and I"ve gone through the process over 20 times. I never edit the my profile, on this website, and the only thing I do is look at stats of the games I play in and the stats of the games my friends play in.

Every time I check my profile, the setting changes

What's going on?

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Usually the problem seems to be when you edit any other things on your profile. Apparently the "show septagon logo" thing is an attention whore who must be dealt with every time you touch your profile.

However, you said you don't mess with your profile, so you've got me stumped.

Regardless, this is just a site bug that will [hopefully] be fixed in the near future. I'd much rather have the webteam work on new features for the site, though. :)

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the clichéd lines.

This happened to me 4 times where for no reason it went back to hide. Although since the last time I saved it to show it hasn't gone back to hide, yet.

Me too... I'm going to try it from Foxfire as using Safari may cause the issue (a theory).

Update: Just tried it with Camino of all things and it seems to have stayed on "show". We'll see later when I can sign into MM and have a look.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Have to use the "show" option on both Halo 2 and Halo 3.

I'm still having this problem -- has a solution been found in another thread I missed?
