While it sounds interesting I think it'd mean a lot of work to the server(s).

Why do I have to keep repeating that it would be quite easy?

Just using a friendly elbow nudge to remind you my thread is still here.

I just said in my post just before yours that it would be fairly easy, and not too taxing on the server, for a list to be generated of all bungie.net users you have played against to be addened to your profile, and checked against on loading threads... hell, it could even be optional, for those who don't like it, but I don't see why they wouldn't, done in the way I suggest would cause virtually no impact on load times.

Sounds like a cool idea but to assume it wouldn't be too taxing on the servers is a leap. At some point the "text" file has to be created AND updated. Should it update weekly, nightly or after every game that is transferred to b-net? So the server checks your games during an update and creates the list based off gamer tags linked to b-net accounts? Oh and the list also has to have the proper data to pull up the game or games when you click the link right? One thing I am still not clear on. Does clicking the link bring up the games only if there are any or does the link only show up if there are any? Don't get me wrong but creating and updating a "text" file is easy. Creating and updating 1,000,000 text files is not.

Go Chiefs

Cool idea. I often play with others that have the Septagon next to their gamertag but I've yet to recognize anyone. If I could easily check to see who I've played it would be a very cool (if not useful) feature.

I am not sure on the specifics of implementing it, but I am familiar enough with xhtml and co to know it wouldn't be that hard, especially since most of the work is already done. And I propose the link only appear on people you have played, to make it obvious who you have and haven't played
