Excellent article except they definately forgot to mention a few problems.
1. Rankings: despite their report that they are working, perhaps they can explain why you gain more experience when playing individually than in a party. I can win 6 games in a row while partied with 3 other friend and "maybe" go up 1 rank. If I play 6 games by myself I manage to go up 4-5 ranks. However in both party and by myself if loose any matches I am more likely to drop 1-2 ranks despite how many wins I might have had before the loss. I think there is some serious math issues with the amount of points earned and that is a good reason why we dont see the level progress like in Halo 2. Showing us that would show how poor the ranking system is actually working.
2. Sniper rifle: I mean come on, the punching is bad enough, the swords are just a joke, but the sniper rifle has clear documented and video documentation on you tube of people sniping other players in clear head shots, multiple body shots, and even missed shots still registering. The accuracy of the sniper rifle is actually the worst of any weapon in the game. I do not mind the changes, such as slower shot and reload, but you cant sacrifice the way a weapon registers when it hits the opponent.
3. Swords: what can you say without laughing...it a host weapon, sword cancelling is a joke...this weapon should just be removed.
4. Mauler vs Shotgun: Not really sure how a mauler/punch combo is beaten by 1 shotgun shell but apparently that might be part of the lag they openly admitted exists.
5. Switching weapons: this needs to be faster. you also can not punch between weapon switches. this is an issue when someone comes up on you while you are switching weapons. you can punch out of reload which is nice but not out of changing weapons. it would be nice to see this changed.
6. Bring on SWAT
7. Bring on Multiteam Ranked
8. Bring on Big Team Ranked
9. Need Shotty Snipes On Sandtrap
