Subject: Why I HATE The Halo 3 Forum

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the clichéd lines.

Same happens to me, which is why I stick with the Optimatch forum and just slip my Halo 3 thoughts with my optimatch thoughts in to get answered and still stay on topic.

Optimatch does get repeat threads though. But yeah that forum moves much slower and I like it better than Halo 3 forum.

Even if we pounce on every Recon armour thread that comes up the moment it appears, the legitimate threads will still have been bumped down.

Yes, but closing them prevents them from being bumped back up to the top by people flaming and whatnot. Instead of a thread continually pushing another thread back down, it would only push it once and then allow for the other thread to get back up.

Wow. On an unrelated note I checked to see when I joined and it was over a year ago. I feels like only half a year.

I'm a Christian and I hate religion.
Religion is man's attempt to reach God
Christianty is God reaching to man

Check out the Woodshop!

The halo 3 forum is just watered down too much. There are simply too many people using it at any given time. It's pretty much always been like that, but of course it got much much worse after the games release. It's just the obvious place to go when you first join up, I guess. With so many people, it must be much harder to moderate, so the idiots prevail far too often. Also, when so many people act a fool, and the burns, or inappropriate threads don't get noticed, or called out, then I think that others who normal post well, act crazy in there just because they know they can.

I hate it because as soon as I submit a new topic, it ends up on the 3rd page before I even refresh. It all works out just fine though. It's as if Halo 3 forums serve the function of "noob catcher". Generally those people stay there, and either don't know, or never bother to find the other forums here. Don't get mad about it, just stay out of there. I got just to see if there is a new sticky, or hot topic of interest, but I rarely post.

Sitting around whining about it won't really make much of a difference.

In order to bring change, you have to be its catalyst. If enough people go to the forums and actually act like they have an IQ in the positive numbers, then maybe, just maybe these poor fellows will turn around and think "hey wait a second...I look like a total moron here". Losing patience with it is just letting the trolls have their playground.

Why yes. It's 1.11am and I'm a tad sleepy, which is why I'm rambling. Ignore at will :3

I agree. But if you think about it, you'll realize that if we tried to stop them, our message would be flooded by them, leaving us under a large pile of text. It's a sad truth that I have had to face ever since my "Halo: Combat Evolved", days. Now you might want to go have a nice sleep, so you can stop rambling and sounding like me (I'm not crazy, I swear!). Goodnite (or morning, or.. whatever.. )
